The quadruple room was spacious, pleasant with a private patio and separate floors for living room (with 2 small beds) and main bedroom. This allowed us to put the baby in her cot on the mezzanine while we were chatting downstairs or on the patio. The staff was helpful and kind. The hotel was full of families with young kids and the staff organized mini club activities like games on the sand, drawing in the afternoon and baby dance in the evening. The location is very convenient if you like being at the edge of the town boulevard a few meters from supermarket, restaurants and shops. It is also fairly close to the private beach, which we reached on foot with a 15 mins walk. The bus is not running all the time, but has a gap of a few hours around lunchtime. The beach was really nice, with clear water and good for little children for the shallow waters for hundreds of meters! Only when the wind turned we got stacks of algae on the shoreline. Breakfast included a variety of delicious cornetti which we really enjoyed. Though it was served in the main building, it was just across a square with kids swings and a slide, where our little one spent hours. There's also a diner on that square where they serve typical pugliese recepies and parents can sit, while kids are playing ;-) We recommend the restaurant Lu Pescatore just under the lighthouse for the stunning seaview on the terrace and the fresh fish dishes. Overall, after a first shock with the double room (see negative points) that made us think of abandoning the hotel, the holiday turned into a very pleasant one, after the receptionist gave us the quadruple room without additional fares.

The double room on the garden side was extremely small for having booked a triple room; it was quite humid (which we had been warned of by the girl at the reception at the time of booking): also with air conditioning on, the air was wet and also parts of the wall paint came off in a humid spot. There was an uncovered wall socket (watch out for young kids). The mosquito net had holes and the room was full of mosquitos. The second room (on the road side) was much better and definitely not humid. The general feeling is of a lack of maintenance. The supplies and services are not the ones of a 4 stars hotel and everything looks a bit too old. The hair dryer did not work, but it got repaired within a day, the soap and champoo were not refilled during the week, if not under explicit request.
