We booked the double room and it was huge. The room itself is beautiful with tranquil views and tasteful interior. Was very comfortable with two young children. With a car it was not very far to drive into Florence and we were told of a good place to park by the staff. We had a great pasta meal at one of the restaurants at the bottom of the hill (not sure of name, but there are three restaurants and our favourite one looked just like a deli/cafe, you eat at the back, and opens from 7:30) Was not a problem as we had a car, but the walk up and down the hill to catch a bus would have been difficult with children. |

excellent place, great contrast to busy florence, yet only minutes away. Getting to florence by local bus is easy and cheap as long as you dont mind the 1 mile road walk to the bus (which is a steep hill). The ambience by the pool is excellent, as is the garden where a great breakfast is served. if you dont mind a mile long walk the bus service is great and do bring a torch if you expect to be out late |

Swimming pool and surroundings are excellent. Relaxing place just outside crowded city. It has nice furniture, it doesn't feel like just a hotel, more like an old big, though cosy, house. The tv was not working well and there was no description of it. But it was not so important so we didn't ask the reception. The breakfast was not that good and the women working there were not friendly. Without a car it is not really easy to reach. |

I liked my stay very much. The room was spacious and so was the bathroom. There was much to choose from at breakfast. The grounds were gorgeous and I enjoyed the pool and views. |

It was a true countryside feel. Located off of the autostrada so easy to get to Siena, Montalcino, Pisa and Cinque Terre. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was served outside in the garden with amazing views of the countryside. Hotel has parking so if you rent a car you don't need to worry about where to park. I strongly suggest that you rent a car while in Tuscany. The hill to get to the location is steep but if you have a car then not a problem. |
