People, who work there, are excellent! Perfect location.
Kite-shaped Trapani makes an impressive sight from lofty Mount Erice, connected to the peninsula below by cable car. On a clear day, the mountain also offers views of Tunisia - one destination of ferries from Trapani Port, alongside Cagliari, Pantelleria and the offshore Egadi Islands.
Overlooking the port is the old town, where arched doorways on narrow streets open onto many cheap apartments and B&Bs on Booking.com. Shabby chic façades sit alongside historic churches, such as understated Trapani Cathedral, somewhat lost amid elegant Corso Vittorio Emanuele, where pavement cafes sit in front of pastel-coloured buildings and metal balconies.
At the tip of the peninsula is the fortress-like Tower of Ligny lighthouse, now housing the Prehistory and Sea Museum. The Colombaia Castle protects the port from an island to the south, while in the other direction the sweeping coastline passes some beachfront hotels with swimming pools.
Villa Margherita Park offers shade from the Mediterranean sun, and Triton’s Fountain graces a neighbouring square. The simple façade of the Basilica of Maria Santissima Annunziata hides the treasures within, including a statue of the Madonna of Trapani which is at the heart of the Easter ‘Misteri’ celebrations.
Between the city and Trapani-Birgi Airport, historic windmills sit beside salt pans. The Salt Museum provides details of this major industry.

Trapani is lovely town nicely laid out with good public transport - although beware as the busses stop running by about 21:30 in the evening and none on a Sunday. A good selection of shops for those wanting to indulge.
The old town is stunning and a must to visit both during the day and particularly in the evening when it totally comes alive with an abundance of restaurants to suit every taste and pocket.

Surprisingly quaint with lots to do.
Surprisingly quaint with lots to do. Great sandy beaches, lots of shops and amazing restaurants and bars in the old town. Also provides easy access to lots of other places to explore like Erice via cable car, Egadi Islands by ferry and Marsala, Castellemare del Golfo by train and Palermo by bus. It wasn't overly touristy either and got a really nice, more authentic experience here compared to some of the other cities in Sicily. Highly recommend! 3-4 days would be perfect

It was our second trip to Sicily in October. This is great time to visit the island. Trapani is really beatiful, great Old Town, fine cuisine (busiata alla Trapanese !!!). Great trips: San Vito Lo Capo, Erice (!!!), Egadi Islands, salinas...
However, too much garbage on the side streets...

Trapani was pleasant with friendly people, we felt very safe, and the food was delicious. There was a lot of activity at night with great shops. I would recommend La Perla Restaurante, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the price was extremely reasonable. Sit in the covered portion with a sea view

Less busy than the resorts of Taormina and Palermo, where we also visited - the water at the beach was crystal clear and perfect for swimming and was not too crowded. Good selection of restaurants and the ferry terminal allows easy access to the islands.
This hotel was really awesome! The best one we had ever lived before, definitely recommend! The location was really nice, you can get access to the sea very easily and it is close to the center as well! The staffs were friendly and helpful, the room was very big and comfortable, although it says 4 star but you feel like you live in 5 star! The breakfast is also awesome, we really had a nice time in this hotel and will go back to live if we have time to visit Trapani again next time!
Communication and check-in went smoothly, Annalisa kindly picked us up from the bus stop and allowed us to store our luggage for a later pick-up before catching the bus to the airport. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was great too: in the old town, with restaurants, bars and cafés nearby as well as near the port and bus stops to other destinations around Trapani. Definitely recommended!
The room was clean, bathroom was great. Great location, 5 minutes from the beach or port. There's a fridge and a little safe. The room is on a quite little street and the windows blacks out any noise. On the roof there's a nice patio and a jacuzzi. The best part of our stay was Simona, our host. She helped us with our check in process, gave us great advice on where to eat, what to see, how to get to places etc.
Just a few steps from a public beach, and a five minute walk to the historic center, we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Vittoria. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They made good recommendations for restaurants and sights. There were many options for breakfast, and parking across the street in a lot if there was none in front of the hotel. The room was large and clean with a large bed, as requested.
We booked a standard room, but we were surprised with a lovely suite, including a kitchen. The location was in the heart of the historic center, and the suite was spotless. The staff was very helpful and accommodating! Eleonora Monaco, who worked at the front desk, was very friendly and informative. She gave us great suggestions of things to do in Trapani.
Amazing B&B in the center of Trapani. The apartment we had was very big and cozy (Mastro), it was a two storey room wirh a kitchen and two bathroom. The employees were very friendly and helpful! The breakfast area was small but cute with delicious specialities from Trapani and Sicily. I would definitely go back there. Also it‘s directly located at the sea.
Hotel is beautifully decorated and in the centre of Trapani - really near gorgeous cafes and the beach! Staff were super helpful - special shout out to the ever smiling Sal - who is a joy. All the women on reception were so kind and helpful. The balcony had a great view and we all loved the terrace bar. Our Netflix worked and the beds were super comfy!
Very good apartment, everything was new and fresh. Hosts told us about the town and places where to go eat. It was valuable. Apartment is near the sea. But in Sicily better to rent a car and drive to all beautiful places. And around Trapani there are a lot nice beaches and beautiful towns. There are 3 supermarkets near the apartment.
The BEST host we ever had, he helped us with everything we wished - renting a car, covid tests and many travel tips
It is the perfect choice in Trapani, you won't regret it :)
Tasty breakfast, comfy beds, the cleanest rooms on Sicily, powerful air conditioner, flexible check in
Everything was amazing
Book it now! :)
Matteo was a great host and was always really attentive to all our needs! He gave us a lot of tips about what to do and where to park the car.
The hotel is well located, at walking distance from the city centre. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast outstanding! Definitely recommended.
Great location, free parking behind building in private space. Apartments are very modern, big and stylish. Great price performance. Probably the best accommodation in our 14 day trip to Sicily(we changed apartments 8 times).
Also, the host/manager is very friendly and always ready to help.
Incredible service from Marco. High quality of everything in the apartment, like hotel standard. Seeing the sunset from the terrace with a glass of wine beats everything. We have travelled most of Sicily, and Trapani and Favignana are our favorite places. And this place was just perfect :-)
The hotel is in a great location in trapani, it’s 50 meters away from the Main Street with all the restaurants bars gelato. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. The rooftop bar was very Igor in the evening and a great view for an early breakfast. I really enjoyed this stay.
We changed our accommodation 4 times during our stay in Sicily. This one was the best - the room was very clean, even with room service! The beach is 15 min by walk. We were very satisfied with our stay :)
This was cozy house in small village 6 km from Trapani. Nice hosts. Very clean. Excellent place to discover west Sicilia by car. You must by ready to get all facilities by car: beach, store, restaurant
By far the best B&B for the price in whole Sicily. Very clean, smells good, beautiful furniture and art works, roof top terrasse for breakfast, Rosanna was very helpfull. Perfect 10!!!!
The host was amazing, the hotel was beautiful and the rooms were great. The breakfast was the best we had in Sicily including the more expensive hotels where we stayed.
