As one of the first hotels in Sirmione, this family-run property boasts a privileged lakeside position. Hotel Flaminia offers a sun terrace, tastefully decorated interiors and free Wi-Fi.
Score from 423 reviews Very good
Featuring a terrace with lounge chairs right on Lake Garda, Hotel Eden is 300 ft from Sirmione Castle. It has excellent service and modern rooms with hardwood floors, free Wi-Fi and LCD TVs.
Score from 625 reviews Wonderful
Watch the sun rise from behind the mountains at Hotel Europa, an elegant and well-equipped hotel, surrounded by olive groves and gardens and set directly on Lake Garda’s shores.
Score from 164 reviews Excellent
This 3-star hotel faces Lake Garda and is close to the Monte Baldo Natural Park. It has its own pier and the daily breakfast is served on the lake-view terrace.
Score from 57 reviews Very good
Very good position in Sirmione
- The hotel has a new side with restored rooms looking at the lake and a very old side with dusty rooms looking at an internal garden. We requested a lake view without knowing the difference in the room "style" but we did not get any advice from Booking nor from the hotel receptionist. - Too dusty and hairy: I am allergic to powder and dust and I could not sleep because of the allergy attacks - Wi-fi was not working, the signal too poor to load one web page - The hotel is all-sizes-of-dog-friendly and this is a good thing but we got awaken during the night a few times due to the bark of big dogs lodging close to our room - The hotel is supposed to give the client a 20% discountto the close-by Termae. Unfortunately we got to know that from the receptionist of the Termae only when we already payd the 100% of the ticket
The setting of the hotel is exceptional. We arrived early afternoon on a Sunday and found ourselves driving (very slowly) through the narrow winding streets of the old city crowded with visitors - a jovial experience for driver, passengers and pedestrians.
I would class this hotel as a 3 Star hotel.
The location is excellent and has a beautiful view of the ruins and Lake Garda
Breakfast was mediocre and hotel staff didn't tell us that a return permit was required if you leave on daytrip(by car) - we took a trip to Venice for the day and could not get back in before 7 at night - we had to leave our car and walk across town
THE HOTEL IDEAL WAS LOVELY, THE POOL, THE ROOMS THE STAFF ALL EXCELLENT. WE HAD THREE TOP FLOOR ROOMS WITH FABULOUS VIEWS AND INTERCONECTING BALCONIES IT WAS VERY COMFORTABLE.
THE BEDS WERE ALITTLE HARD. DEEPER MATERACES WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE.
Quiet location at the end of Sirmione peninsula overlooking the lake, next to Catullus cave site. Lovely outside terrace area with olive trees. Outdoor pool clean. Spacious room with nice terrace. Adequate breakfast buffet, although coffee only from a self-service machine. Bar drinks sensibly priced.
Breakfast/dining area has a sterile atmosphere with unattractive red lacquer painted chairs and tables. Owners seem unexcited about guests arriving or being present. Lake access is unattractive - walk down some steps and fenced off, so guests need a key to access. Beach area next to some kind of noisy generator, shallow waters for quite some distance. Free wi-fi, but was slowly and often cut out.
beautiful location, friendly staff, it's not crowded, far from the noisy streets, walking distance from the good restaurants and shops, the rooms are very clean, wonderful view and we got a huge terrace, this was the 2nd time we spent there and we will return!
if there are a few rainy days it takes time for the pool to warm up it was really really cold for us, and especially with small children it can be a problem, the quality of the coffee at breakfast is not very good,
Pretty much the whole experience was super. We loved the hotel and the old town was splendid.
Nothing... Oh the hire bikes were a bit shonky!
Even already leaving Sirmione and Italy, the beauty of this place always comes back to you, standing in front of your eyes, makes you once again experience the excitement of what you saw. The hotel stands on a hill and is the latest in a number of other hotels, surrounded by olive groves. The hotel is cozy, quiet, clean, have country home decor, the staff is very responsive. In the room all in good condition - locker, balcony, TV, refrigerator, hair dryer, shower. We used wi-fi only at the reception. I have no information of the availability of connection in the room. were happy watermelon, pineapple, pizza, desserts for breakfast. Hot breakfast need to be ordered separately, but is included in the price. Rooms are arranged so that from the right side of the hotel and at its left side there are views of the lake, in some rooms, both sides. In the hotel we spent a bit of time, since a lot of interesting things around. There is nothing better than a walk in the cool and empty streets of the medieval town in the evening, it is nice to go down to the water of the lake. Rely on your strength to reach on foot - about 10-15 minutes, when the service is not available on the little train from the end of the main street in the evening. I advise you to come for a few days and spend a day on the boat trip along the lake - about 3 hours each way, to stop and dine, for example, in Malcesine.
You will need protection from mosquitoes, do not have a beach, but a steep descent to a narrow strip near the water
Almost everything - the location and views were outstanding.
All places have something to report, but it would be churlish to include anything considering all of the good points. I hate to say this as it will probably put the prices up for the next time we visit, but to be fair it does have a few quirky things, but unless you only like Michelin restaurants and 5 star hotels/service with no character, then it should not be a problem
Lovely resort. Great access to other towns using ferries. Very friendly staff, always happy to help. Would highly recommend for a relaxed family holiday.
Quiet location with pool and lake access. Right next to the ruins, 5 minute walk into town. Room size is adequate with monster sized patio (awesome). Great restaurant on premises. Really nothing to complain about. Impressive all the way the around. Breath taking views.
Pool is cold, needs to be heated. You do have to drive through the densely populated town with narrow roads and tunnels, not a big deal, just new customers need a heads up this is the case.
A very good friendly hotel in a rather special place.
When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by a very warm welcome from the young lady at reception who set the tone for a great stay. The room was spacious with a large bathroom & airconditioning it was all very clean & tidy & was well looked after by a lovely friendly maid. Breakfast was good thete was plenty of choice & no shortage of food. The pool was great & set in very nice gardens that where well attended to. I would have no problems about staying in this hotel & hopefully I will again someday.
The wifi was a bit of a pain you had to constantly get codes & sign into it but in no eay dif this effect our enjoyment.
- excellent location - courteous staff willing to solve problems - excellent views - nice breakfast - beautiful gardens - public beach nearby - interesting drive through the narrow streets of the historical centre full of tourists when getting to the hotel
- we were put in a double room instead of a triple room that we reserved - after we complained, we had to spend the first night in that room and then were moved to a much more spacious family room without extra charge. The staff tried to help, but my impression is that it is a standard practice to put people in smaller rooms and change them only after they complain. This really should not be happening in a 4 star hotel... - the interior design resembles the design of communist hotels of the 1980s...
Great location, warm staff, clean room and wonderful views
Bed was too hard for our tastes otherwise no issues
+old city +super location +silence
-no place for yacht -no terme bath in hotel -expensive
Waiters are realy very, very kind and ready to help you (adding to already very reach breakfast opputunity to get additional meals, coffe,...)
Location is at the end of peninsula with spectacular view. Good swimming pool and garden. Good restaurant. Free parking.
Room was a bit old style. Need to walk 10 minutes to the castle/shops area
Nice location on the island with a thrilling drive through the old town to the hotel.
View, rooms were clean. Breakfast Was good.
Few people working at the restaurant.
Location, friendly, helpful staff, breakfast menu
Location is excellent at the end of the peninsular but easy walking distance of the town. Great views over the lake.
Hotel is now a little dated.
Location at the end of the peninsula in a beautiful olive grove, near ruins of Roman villa. Quiet, but easily accessible to picturesque town.
The hotel is highly overrated - it should not have more than 3 stars. They use those old brown blankets just covered with one sheet. Exept of the location, everything else is below the average 3 star hotel (and they say they have 4).
