Hotel Igea    

The hotel was in a convenient location and very easy to find. I liked being able to close the shutters on the noise from outside, made it much easier to sleep in such a busy city. The rates were good and the room was quite spacious.

I didn't like how thin the walls and door were and how noise carried throughout the hotel. An early morning wake-up call was unfortunately a wake-up call for the whole floor.

It was an excellent place to stay at the end of a long trip in Europe as I needed a bed overnight before catching a flight home. It took 6 minutes of walking from the moment I checked out until I stepped onto the Airport express. The staff on redception were very welcoming and helpful. My room was clean and the bed comfortable.

Everything. From the moment I arrived I was welcomed and valued as a resident at the hotel. It was clean and up to date. The rooms were functional but not tiny and enabled a relaxing evening after a long day walking around Rome. The breakfast, continental style was lovely and plenty of it. WiFi was free and it allows for skyping friends and family at home. Altogether a wonderful experience for a city hotel, great value for money.

Nothing, seriously, there was nothing I complained about to family on my return. It was great.

It is clean, fairly quiet (at least my room was) and near the train station for my early departure to the airport the next morning. It is also close to the main bus terminal to catch a bus to any part of the city as well as walking distance from one of the main shopping streets.

THE LOCATION WAS PERFECT. It was at the very centre of Rome. It was also clean and tidy. The staff was friendly and helpful, except for the guy at Breakfast. Warm and full with hospitality rooms!

Small bath and shower. The guy at the breakfast was inpolite. The breakfast was sufficient, but it could involve more products.

Myself and my boyfriend were looking for a cheap but clean ad nice place to stay close to the attractions in Rome.. This hotel also included breakfast in the stay was a major plus. We read a few complaints about the breakfast but it didnt bother us as it was so cheap we would manage. When we got there The staff were so lovely and efficient. The next morning we arrived in the breakfast room with loads of options for breakfast! Im a very picky eater and even I was very happy with the food! There was corn flakes and rolls with loads to put on it like butter, spreadable cheese and loads of different types of jams. There were croissants with custard in them too and loads of different biscuits on the table. The man in the breakfast room always came up so politely offering different hot drinks and there was plenty of orange juice too! We were full every morning and lasted right up until lunch time. It was a 5 monute walk from the termini which was so handy as we got the Roma Pass and could use the transport all we wanted with it. The room itself had a massive bed which was really comfortable and the bathroom was always clean. We loved the hotel and will definitely be back to it :)

Everyone was friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and safe, particularly for the cost. I will stay again whenever passing through Rome.

Andre is the guy. He is the best staff, ever. What you need, he is ready to help you. About the hotel, it is in very good location, near of the Termini Station and there are a lot of restaurants and fast foods. You can walk for all Rome to know, but in five days you will be so tired. Because this the Termini Station is a gift for the tourists.

The hotel was in a good position. We had booked another room for the night before and this hotel was very close, so not much of a walk. It's also very close to bus &metro station, where there is good parking, as there is none at the hotel. The staff were OK, although the man on the desk when we arrived was a bit indifferent. There is a lift so OK for our room on 5th floor.Close enough to walk to things we wanted to see and lots of bars & restaurants nearby at good prices.

The hotel is a bit old & tired and our room could do with an update. Shower was poor - hot water stopped if you turned the tap very far, but it suited us as we were only there for 1 night.

Good location both to Collosseo and Railway and Shuttle bus station, free wifi

The elevator does not have ventilation (on a hot Roman afternoon it was scary). Breakfast is really very limited choice frugal. Check-out at 11.00 is to early (but you check in from 14.00, not fair)

Clean, near to city center, easy to find, packed breakfast option, fast Internet, good coffee, comfortable pillows. Great option for a budget stay if you are not planning to spend a lot of time at the hotel.

Poor breakfast, too noisy (you can hear everything your neighbors do, especially when they decide to move furniture early in the morning or watch football at night), bad shower, staff was quite unwilling to let me use the safe at the reception, I had to insist on it, and one of them was very rude during our discourse.

Rome hotels are usually very low about "value for money", and this mostly in the area near Termini station. Having a long experience about it, as I had to stay for a week, this time I carefully readed the rewiews on Booking and I decided for this one. I confirm everything I read before.

Definitely not the average train station hotel... well kept, clean and very functional

If they would invest in a desk lamp in the room (lights a bit low) and some ham, cheese and eggs over breakfast the hotel would be close to perfection in its category

Only the location other wise the hotel is so bad becuse I didnt find water to get shower also the a|c dosent work proper the shower box for people with 10-15 year so small no place to fix hanger for towels they put the toles on the pedia the money instide of service unfair becuse from my point 10 euro more than enough
