Il Caminetto is a rustic and comfortable establishment situated in the very center of Elba Island, the largest of the Tuscan Archipelago, and part of its protected Natural Park. All rooms have independent access. They are either located on the second floor and provided with a balcony, or on the first floor with access to the grounds. Il Caminetto is surrounded by nature and provides amazing views of the sea. The temperatures in Elba are about 4 degrees lower than on the coast, so you will be able to enjoy sunny yet cooler summer vacations. Freundliches und aufmerksames Personal; sehr hilfreicher Inhaber; überraschend grüne Umgebung; ruhige Lage; sehr gutes, mit selbst angebauten Produkten angereichertes Essen; ausreichend großer Hotelpool; helles, freundliches Zimmer; schöner Blick auf die Bucht von Portoferraio; Nähe zu Portoferraio; Busanbindung vor der Haustür; zentrale Lage innerhalb der Insel; Wanderungen ab dem Hotel möglich. Bei schlechtem oder kühlem Wetter weiß man nicht so recht, wo man sich abends aufhalten soll; der auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite befindliche, zur Villa Napoleone gehörende Parkplatz wird tagsüber von zahlreichen Autos und Bussen angefahren, abends sind die aber wieder verschwunden und dann ist es ausgesprochen ruhig.

Il personale cortese e disponibile. La posizione bella e comoda; struttura immersa nel verde e a pochi minuti dal centro di Portoferraio e dal mare. Colazione buona e cucina ottima. Camera confortevole. Nella formula con mezza pensione: gli orari per la cena e la formula che prevede di scegliere i piatti la sera prima non creano l'atmosfera rilassata di una cena in periodo di vacanza e risultano un po' fastidiosi e troppo vincolanti.

Cet hotel est mignon et bien situé sur l'Ile d'Elbe mais, nous avons eu une chambre minuscule et le repas servi dans le cadre de la demi-pension était extrêmement mauvais, le tout pour un prix excessif, supérieur à ce qui avait été annoncé. Nous déconseillons fortement cet hotel. A noter que des odeurs de fosse septique circulaient près de la piscine.

Schöne Lage mit Blick auf die Bucht von Portoferraio. Der Pool ist ausreichend groß und auch nicht überfüllt. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist gut sortiert, das Abendessen bei Halbpension abwechslungsreich und lecker. Der Kaffee schmeckte überhaupt nicht, lag wohl am Wasser. Die Essenszeit auf ein kurzes Zeitfenster begrenzt, um 21.00 war Feierabend. Danach konnte man sich nirgends so richtig aufhalten, eine Bar gibt es leider nicht.

J'ai séjourné 5 jours en 1/2 pension le soir, accueil parfait: le responsable nous indiquez chaque matin la plage a fréquenter en fonction du vent. Très bonne nourriture. situation idéale pour rayonner dans l'ile: en pleine nature tout en étant à 5 minutes de Portoferraio. Bonne literie,

Wir waren auf Elba Mitte Juni. Das Hotel ist ruhig gelegen in direkter Nähe zur Sommerresidenz von Napoleon etwa 5 km von Portoferraio entfernt. Die schönen Strände erreicht man mit dem PKW in 10-30 Minuten. Das Hotel ist sauber und familiär geführt. Das Essen (wir hatten Halbpension) war ausnahmlos lecker, abwechslungsreich und mehr als ausreichend. Die Getränkepreise im Restaurant hielten sich im Rahmen. Der Inhaber und das Personal waren sehr freundlich. Man frühstückt und isst zu abend auf eine grossen überdachten Terasse, was sehr angenehm ist. Die Poolnutzung ist nach einem Ausflugstag angenehm und der Pool ausreichend gross. Unser Hund stellte ebenfalls kein Problem dar. Die Zimmergrösse (Minibar mit Kühlschrank, Getränke teuer aber niemand nimmt Anstoß, wenn man eigene Getränke füllt) beträgt ca. 18qm, bietet aber ausreichend Platz. Wer Kinder hat, sollte aber Zimmer im EG ordern (direkter Wiesenzugang). Auf den Zimmern im OG hat man dafür einen schönen Ausblick auf die Bucht von Portoferraio. Reinigungspersonal und Bedienung freuen sich über ein Trinkgeld. Wir bekamen von den Zimmermädchen ein Dankesschreiben. Fazit: Ideal für eine Woche, wenn man die Insel erkunden möchte. Die Zimmer haben keine Klimaanlage (nur Deckenventilator) und in den Sommermonaten wird es sehr heiß. Darauf muss man sich einstellen.

Posizionato nel centro dell'Elba in una zona molto rilassante e fresca (4 gradi di differenza tra costa e l'hotel) ma allo stesso tempo tattica per chi vuole girare un po tutta l'isola. Camere piuttosto ampie e ben arredate, la piscina poi è la ciliegina sulla torta unita al wi-fi gratuito. Non per ultima la cordialità dello staff che quotidianamente ci indicava la miglior spiaggia a seconda del vento che tirava per trovare un mare calmissimo e spiagge incontaminate. Attenzione alla mensola nella testata del letto! Molto comoda per appoggiare tutto ma... Basta ricordarsi che c'è :d

Personale e titolari gentilissimi e disponibili. Hotel tentuto in maniera ottima, ben pulito e posizionato in una zona strategica e naturale. Consiglio la mezza pensione in quanto la cuoca è bravissima, si mangia benissimo.

Collocato in posizione strategica, davvero comodo per visitare l'Elba; il titolare saprà consigliarvi sulle spiagge o i trekking da fare, anche in base al vento o al periodo della visita. L’albergo è pulito, la colazione sufficiente, lo staff gentile e disponibile. Ideale per chi non ha intenzione di passare molto tempo nella struttura. Non sono veri punti deboli, ma semplici osservazioni: non abbiamo mai cenato in albergo perché gli orari erano un po’ troppo vincolanti per noi (19:30-20:30) e forse varrebbe la pena mostrare il menu la mattina. Gli spazi comuni, specie quelli interni, sono migliorabili.
