We were looking for a place to spend a couple of nights close to Rome. This accommodation is a perfect place to enjoy some quiet time before the bustle of Rome. The view over Rome is amazing, the place perfectly quiet, the accommodation clean and comfortable and well maintained. Owners helpful and accommodating.
Nothing really. Would just suggest using GPS coordinates to find the B&B and you won't have a problem locating it.
Great quality/price. You get a big 2 rooms nicely decorated suite with kitchen and good breakfast at "symbolic price". Very nice location with spectacular view. Very friendly and hospital owners.
Noise insulation is not perfect. Small bathroom.
Fantastic view over Rome also at night, most kind hostes, great breakfast, wonderfull swimmingpool, spacious and very clean apartment, peacefull and relaxed atmousphere. We hope to come back soon!
We just loved this place and everything about it. Pino and Paula really made us feel at home and made a fuss of us and especially our two young sons. They offered us fresh coffee throughout the day and if we needed anything they were always happy to help but the real gem was the place itself. The setting perched on top of a hill with views out to Rome and even further beyond to the coast are spectacular to say the least. The view from the pool is like something from a Times Life magazine and while the pool is small, it is all that you really need especially with a view so imperial and yet so beautiful. Il Casale is situated very close to the worlds oldest Mosaic and some truly amazing artifacts in the museum just 2 miles down the road and a further 15 miles (max) you have Tivoli with the quite magnificent Villa d'este. A must see for anybody this close to it. Add to this the value for money; the place has been done so tastefully everywhere, the pool, gardens, exteriors of the buildings and the apartments internally. For 100 euros (and keep in mind 20 miles from central Rome) we had a two bedroom apartment with breakfast included. Thank you Pino and Paula for a fantastic break and we hope to see you again soon
It was a little difficult to find but maybe we should have researched where it was first rather than relying on the sat nav. A little bit of noise between apartments but not enough to spoil this truly magnificent place
Friendly, welcoming, relaxed, beautiful view, good swimming pool, nice and clean apartment. The homemade breakfast with different pastries was great. Hosts were wonderful.
More than just a B&B, but not quite an apartment. Pino will entertain you with stories of his acting career while lovely Paola is the perfect hostess. Great for driving down to Palestrina (but more than a walk). Massive breakfasts and stunning views (even in bad weather)
Rooms were a bit dark - but then the weather didn't let us sit outside :-(
Nice place to stay, runned by very kind staff.
We could not believe the value for money! Pino and Paula gave us a truly authentic Italian experience with their great humour and hospitality! The accommodation was new and very comfortable and we even spent some time dining with them personally! We have spent so much more money in other places and expected to find something a little lean in facilities! Instead we were overwhelmed and wished we had known about this place and spent a lot more time there. Superlatives do not explain the warmth and feel of this great stay and amazing views over Rome and the surrounds! Beautiful!!!
The hospitality and breakfast are overwhelming. Excellent. Too much for a healthy diet. Brava Paola. Tips for trips: Old monasteries like Subiaco (st. Benedict) and Montarello. Don, t miss the gardens of villa D, Este and the Roman remains of villa Adriana, both in Tivoli.
The walls are a bit transparent for adjacent noise.
Almost everything!! Particulaly, the view was really nice!!
It is a little bit difficult to find the location.
