B&B Solaia is a stone farmhouse preserving historic details such as antique wood furniture and wood-beamed ceilings. Surrounded by the Tuscan countryside, it produces its own olive oil and honey.

- Friendly and helpful hosts who also speak good english - Beautiful location - Authentic Tuscan feel - Lovely breakfast
We enjoyed our week stay in a self contained apartment - the kitchenette was well equipped; bathroom large and spotlessly clean and our private outdoor area pleasant. The salt water pool was wonderful to come back in late afternoon and there was always plenty of room and sun loungers available round the pool. The property is situated midway between Greve in Chianti and Panzano so plenty of choice for restaurants, bar and even basic shopping in the Coop.
The hospitality and friendliness. The decor of the room. The location was beautiful and convenient to everything we wanted to do.
Paulo and Angelica were great. Very helpful with suggestions for day trip and dining option. The vistas from the property are lovely. Chianti at it's best. Great for a relaxing holiday. I'd strongly suggest driving up from Rome (or any other city you may be visiting from) if you are up to it. You get to drive through some stunning Tuscany countryside.
Lovely dog and cat, swimming pool, garden
The B&B was in a tranquil setting & had a lovely pool.
The pull out sofa for the kids was worn and very uncomfortable. The shower / bath leaked water every time you used it. As we were a family we were out in an apartment which meant we weren't eligible for the B&B service of breakfast each day, changing of towels (towels were only changed every 7 days) or the cleaning of our room. If we wanted any of that it was a lot extra. The power points in the kitchenette didn't work so we had to unplug the tv to use the toaster or the kettle. All in all not impressed for the price charged.
Everything was outstanding except...
The bed was too hard
Paulo & Angelica very friendly & helpful. Delightful Italian decor. Country peace & quiet. &Quot;Time" stands still. Nice big swimming pool for a brisk morning swim or to relax beside in the afternoon with a nice Chiante. Great location for touring the vineyards. If you have no transport the bus stop is close by but for going out to dinner you will need a taxi. Can recommend Daniele +39 389 8160050, very reliable.
Not a criticism, but can be a problem getting around if you don't have your own transport.
authenticity for the location
Good breakfast with very nice wiew.
The bed of the room was broken. The household has a dog, which is nice if you love dogs.
The view is beautiful. It is close to Panzona and to Greve, by car. It has a terrace and swimming pool. Great breakfast and friendly owners. I would stay again with a car.
You have to have a car. Although it is on the bus route. The bus did not stop for me two times. Walking is way too dangerous on the road.
everything was great! We only stayed one night but we enjoyed the lovely breakfast on the terrace and the pool as well as the lovely room. The owners' dog is the sweetest thing and they also have a cat. Very nice property and close to Greve and Panzano- we really enjoyed it. About 45 mins drive to Siena which we also did. Thank you guys!
Everything Location, Breakfasts Tacko the dog Paulo and Angelica were super helpful with anything :Cabs, Restaurant reservations, Bus schedules Panzano Walking anywhere, any road, relaxing.
Poor service. No new towels or linen changed after three days as scheduled by the management. (see the sign in the bathroom) Room very poorly lit, no chance to see anything when one comes into the room in the evening.
Very beautiful bnb. Paolo, the owner was very friendly and helpful. The view from the bnb was perfect and breakfast was the best we had. We would highly recommend. Do say hi to their cute dog, Tako!
Everything was good.
Very friendly staff, gorgeous country house with million dollar views. We had a car so had a great time exploring the Tuscan countryside (although the owner informed of a neary bus into Florence if that's your preference). Tasty breakfast and a very friendly dog!
The lovely garden- was a perfect place for breakfast!
Angelika and Paulo were perfect hosts, the environment was simply superb - the birdsong, (including a nightingale) the meadows and the forest provided tranquility and harmony with the beautifully maintained property. In the heart of Chianti, yet only a convenient bus ride from Florence, and access to everything Tuscany can offer. An environmentally-conscious commune with historic and traditional villages, just a great place to be.
The location was great central to the religion , beautiful surrounds and building. Paulo and Angelica were lovely hosts
Room above very noisy and could hear when using the bathroom
Great hosts and location. Great food at nearby village.
Paolo & Angelica were fantastic hosts. They really made our trip in Tuscany. We stayed with them for 5 days & decided to plan our trip once there, and they both really helped in making good suggestions of things to see & do. They were really friendly & the place is really nice with a beautiful view. Definitely recommended.
We loved our stay, even though it rained we had plenty to do and see thanks to our lovely hosts.
Angelica and Paulo were the perfect hosts. Great views Beautiful freash breakfast Right in the middle of all the action, but remote enough to get that true Chianti experience. Beautiful room , clean and freash , well maintained . Value for money . Child friendly and engaging (9 & 12).
Having to leave !
