II Castagnolo was absolutely perfect, the scenery the rooms, the staff, the breakfast, garden area was just amazing. Would definately recommend this place. The only thing was the directions to the place from the website were not that straight forward to follow and took us 2 hours to find it. The owner of the place got his English speaking friend to come and find us.Suggestion to Booking.com to organise instructions so that it gives directions from different ways you enter San Gimignano, we came from a different direction and even our GPS put us in the middle of San Gimignano with the address for the hotel, which was not correct. |

The pool and the garden are great. The common fridge instead of a minibar with very moderate prices is a real bonus! Some light at the sign on the turn off from the main road would be very helpful when looking for the hotel after dark! |

Die Lage und die Gartenanlage mit dem sehr schönem Blick hatmir an diesem Hotel sehr gut gefallen. Der "Hotelmanager" konnte kein einziges Wort Englisch, also in irgendeiner Weise mit ihm zu reden, war nicht möglich. Außerdem waren die Zimmer sehr spartanisch (kleiner Schrank) eingerichtet und die Zimmer waren sehr hellhörig, so dass man schon manchmal die Vorstellung hatte, auf dem Bahnhof zu übernachten. Sehr schade! |

Schöner Garten. Das Frühstück war sehr, umfangreich und frisch, sogar persönlich zubereiteter italienischer Kaffee. Es gab auch im m1.Stock einen Kühl-/Gefrierschrank. Wir waren Anfang September dort im 2. Stock untergebracht und es war im Zimmer sehr heiss, da sich die Mauern und das Dach sehr aufgeheizt hatten (keine Klimaanlage!!). Leider hat der Fernseher keine deutschen Programme verfügbar!! |

Su entorno natural, su cercanía a San Gimignano, su tranquilidad Sí, estuve en una habitación arriba del todo de la casa en la que hacía el doble de calor que en el resto d la casa, y no hay aire acondicionado. Así que pasé calor por las noches (agosto). |

Muy bonito, muy atentos y serviciales, bonitas vistas. El colchón de espuma no está a la altura. Con días de mucho calor, no hay aire acondicionado y se sufre mucho. Malas noches... Tienen un parte del edificio sin acabar de construir, pero no molesta. |

Los exteriores, donde podías cenar por la noche al aire libre después de haberte dado un baño en la piscina. No se molestaban si llevabas tu la comida y tu botella de vino y te la tomabas en las mesas. Lo hacían casi todos los alojados en el establecimiento. La falta de limpieza y da decoración de las habitaciones, bastante pobre. Relación calidad precio regular. |

Aangenaam hotel/agriturismo met schitterende ligging met uitzicht over de toscaanse heuvels, mooie tuin met veel schaduw en een zwembad. Het ontbijt is prima. Er was helaas geen koelkast en geen airco en aangezien het 35 graden was, was dat geen luxe. Op de locatie is geen mogelijkheid om wat te drinken. |
