Wi fi was very poor.. Only worked is some locations beside the exit door and didn't work in the rooms, or at the breakfast bar, and didn't work at all for one of us.
The single room is very small, breakfast is basic.
Noise from another room like if if is a one big room decided in two by a fake wall.
-location -good stuffs -clean room -breakfast
Conveniently central; hospitable staff.
Room was too basic. Bed was too short for me (I'm not unusually tall) and room had no furniture apart from a metal stool. No table, no bedside light. It would have been airless if the weather were warmer. Non en-suite was only just OK - the shower unit was clogged with hair, and toiletries were not provided.
The common bath room for 4 room shairng is not at all convenient. There is no good shower but they provide bathrobe besides towel.
i like the room and the bed ,and the snack idea in the living room. :)
this hostel ruins my trip, the only good thing is the location.
I booked a single room, but I was sent to a dorm room, they charged me fees for late arrival, luggage storage, wifi doesn't work most of the time, there is no kitchen for you to use, the breakfast is poor and different from the description from booking, run out of orange juice, not fresh bread, the reception never available after 2 pm. Never come back again. Ruins everything!!!
Good hotel,everything is ok.
the location is good.
Their picture on the bookin site is totally different to the room I booked. The book I booked looks lot better! Then they told me I book a single room but the picture show on the site is for double room. It i the wron picture! I was not happy at all!
It was a pleasure enjoy our journey at Castello especially for the lovely people that manage the b&b. Wonderful position (just two minutes from Piazza maggiore) and very cheap. I hope see you again!!!
I liked everything but most of all its location
The girl on reception/breakfast/garage etc was very helpful and went out of her way to please.
The wall between rooms must have been paper thin as we could hear every little noise from the next room - almost as if they were in our room having a conversation with us.
Super location, the guesthouse has pleasant atmosphere. The staff was very kind and helpful.
I think the owners should invest into new bed clothes.
It's a great place near Bologna center and the hosting is wonderful.
The position near the center
Everithyng else is simply ridicolous, the room is dirty, the conditioned air is old and inadeguate, the bathroom is far from the room so you must pass in the hall with people, you cannot sleep because the wall are made of paper, you must pay supplement for everithing, the breakfast is better at Guantanamo AVOID AT ALL COST
Position in a centre of city
There is no bathroom and toilet in a room
The location was good, very central to the city center and in a quite street
The breakfast is served and quite small.
The set up of the kitchen/common area off of the bedrooms.
Location was ok, just in the city center. Vending mashing with reasonable price.
I'd hardly call this hotel as a boutique one. I supposed it would be something special comparing with others but in fact I was very disappointed. And also it was not value for money comparing with facilities it provides. My room was very small and it consisted only one small bed. I was also sad that there was no picture of my room at the site, in fact there was another one with bigger bed. The light in the WC didn't work, and this is not in my opinion should be in the boutique hotels even if the hotels are B&B ones. It was also very noisy, I could hear even my neighеboor's breathe from another room. Set of keys provided to me was very heavy (around 1 kilo), and I supposed to take it with me as reception is working only till 19.00 or even less: when I did check-in at the hotel around 15.00, I had a problem to connect wi-fi, and I wanted to ask the receptionist to help me, but she already wasn't available, and the reception was closed.
I had a small single room which was simple but very clean. Loved the air conditioning. It's super close to the main town square and university quarter. A great value for the price. The staff person spoke English and was very helpful. She also made a fantastic machiato!
The first night the air conditioner didn't work, I assumed it was broken but they fixed it without my asking.
