We had a beautiful afternoon sun bathing at the pool and nice breakfast. The attentive staff followed up as we left some purchases at in our room when we left. They kindly called and then had the purchases delivered to us in Rome.
Friendly very good staff (and dog) Got upgraded to two bedroom
Breakfast a bit sparse and water heat varied
I'm so glad we decided to stay here. Perfect location near Montepulciano. We stayed in apt. 5, which had a view of Montepulciano on one side and Pienza on the other. One morning we work up and had the classic view of Montepulciano just above the clouds, like a travel poster. Ivan the manager gave us a tour of the farm and winery, followed by a wine tasting. The wine is highly recommended!
Location, staff, wine, comfort.
Nothing to dislike.
This is a lovely property to explore. The apartment that we rented was perfect for relaxing. We had a table for outdoor dining and some lounge chairs as well. Perhaps because we visited at the end of September, there were few others there. We had the pool to ourselves one afternoon, which was a great way to relax and unwind from our visit to Rome. The wine produced at Cavalierino is excellent, judging by the samples I tasted and the bottle of '06 Sanflour that we enjoyed. This wine was better in my opinion that the highly touted Vino Nobile of Montepulciano, which is close by. Ivan, our host, was helpful with directions, advice, and responded quickly when the Wifi was down.
There were no amenities in the bathroom other than hand soap. Shampoo would have been nice. The bed was comfortable, but we could have used an extra pillow or two.
Property was glorious. Wait staff at breakfast was excellent.
Wine tasting closed after an hour, advertised it lasted for 2 hours.
90 euro per night. No room service no clean sheets we had to take our garbage out. 15$ to use the hot tub per person that's 25canadian stay away from this place
a quite comfortable location away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The location is great if you like to walk thru the vineyard and relax
Staff at check in was not friendly at all. The property could have been kept up a bit more (bushes could have been trimmed, apartment seemed like it was empty for a bit and it seemed like it was a bit dirty.
Clean, well organised, your are in the country side (grapes, olive trees) with a swimmingpool. the kids enjoyed very much the pigs!
We were in the large top floor apartment. If you are tall pay attention to the beams!
Excellent view Very nice swimming pool Kitchen stuff (coffee machine++) The staff were very kind and helpful Great breakfast
Nice, large appartment. Beautiful view, friendly and helpfull staff. Fair breakfast.
The bar at the pool was dirty.
Staff (family owned: great!), location (10 min from Multipulceano), beautiful views, breakfast, nice pool, spacious apartment, a feeling of freedom. It was an amazing trip and experience!
WIFI reception not always good
We enjoyed our stay very much. Grounds was kept very trim and clean. Ivan and his staff were very pleasing and courteous. We highly would recommend and be more than happy to return
Friendly, helpful staff-speak English Wonderful setting Montepulciano gorgeous, lots to explore in the area. Lovely breakfasts with a view- sweet pastries, fruit, cheese and meats. Pool great. Beds so comfy and the shutters kept rooms cool and dark at night for great sleep. Quiet and peaceful.
Unmettalled road to approach property- against hire -car rules! Worst approaching from Northern entry to the road but 2nd entry nearer to Montepulciano has very sharp bend to enter if coming from North. No damage done.
The accommodations were spacious, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. The wine tour was excellent and the manger gave a terrific tour. Both families bought several bottles of the wonderful wine. We are planning on another stay in the future.
The agriturismo is in a beautiful location but not well marked from the street. We had difficult time finding the road when returning from dinner.
Very helpful and knowledgeable staff, distance to town was very close and made short trips into town quick and easy. Breakfast was typical light food.
Booked the Villa which was located above the living area of the owner. Very low ceilings with lots of dust and cobwebs. With severe allergies or asthma this is an absolute deal killer. Fortunately they were able to relocate us to 2 apartments onsite which were cleaner and provided views of the town and country side. Water heater temperature was dangerous, went from freezing cold to scalding without warning throughout the shower. Low water pressure, small clothes washer :(
We were very late arriving and Ivan was very understanding. Enjoyed staying on farm. Room was great-old farmhouse with kitchen and two bed rooms right next to breakfast patio with lovely view of Toscana.
We should have stayed more than one night! Didn't realize they had wine tasting there.
Great property. The apartment was clean, spacious and well appointed. The pool was nice as we visited during a hot period. Tour of the vineyard was great and informative. Very accommodating to guests. Wonderful time in this Tuscany region.
Great Location Very secluded Beautiful property
Very hot when we visited, no AC. Fireplace in living room smelled like smoke.
Location and view were outstanding.
Pool was dirty and not useable in 34deg heat, no air conditioning in rooms, and half hour wait for hot water first time.
Beautiful location, well appointed accommodation, good swimming pool
Kitchen could have been better equipped - bit short of cutlery
plenty of space, great breakfast, wonderful place full of green and healthy air
Picturesque, idyllic, amazing breakfast and friendly hosts
A great little find. Great staff.
Nice setting amongst the vineyard and olive groves! Nice viwe from the rooms.
No hot water even after help from staff.
