An ancient Franciscan Monastery transformed into a hotel in the Seventies, and recently remodeled and tastefully decorated, it has 32 rooms, all equipped with private bathroom, tub or shower, air conditioning, television, pay-TV, direct-line telephone for connecting to the Internet, safe and mini-bar. The facility is completed by the restaurant that was derived from the cells surrounding the cloister and the former monk's refectory, including the original refectory tables. This property was a peacefull oasis after a long and hectic day seeing the sights of florence. The pool is huge . The setting on the hillside overlooking the countryside is beautiful

Hotelpersoneel spreek geen Engels of Duits. Het is een erg rustig hotel. Behalve bij het zwembad want daar komt ook de dorpsjeugd. We kwamen daags naar een blikseminslag aan, dus geen internet, airco, telefoon. Ook geen extra geste ivm ongemak zoals een ventilator, of koud water. Konden niet buiten eten, en dat alles bij 30+ graden.

La situation géographique. Paysage exceptionnel. L'accueil glacial avec la nette sensation de déranger. Malgré une très faible occupation (nous étions 10 personnes en tout), les 3 chambres qui nous ont été attribuées étaient sans aucun doute les plus nulles pour la vue. Les 3 fenêtres donnaient face à un mur situé à environ 2 M. Le site démontre des photos avec des salles géantes, des colonnes alors que nous avons été confinés dans une toute petite partie même pour le petit déjeuner, sans accès ailleurs. Pas non plus de possibilité de dîner sur place. Accès autorisé avec "des grincements" à la piscine qui était fermée à clé. Ambiance austère et non feutrée. Heureusement nous étions 6.

L'hôtel est situé dans un site exceptionnel. Notre séjour d'une nuit nous a bien reposés. Nous avons soupé et déjeuné à l'hôtel. Le menu proposé était excellent. Nous avons été servis par les propriétaires trés sympathiques. L'hôtel a été rénové en 2000 donc tout le confort estblà mais le décor rappelle toujours un couvent avec ses couloirs étroits et ses sales et terrasses. Très bel endroit à recommander aux gens qui cherchent un endroit qui a du caractère. Cependant apportez votre gps Le décor des chambres est un oeu vieillot mais c'est voulu.
