Mr. Pietro, the owner was very nice. The location of the hotel. Good breakfast . Spatious room.
The heat system was not enough to make the room warm.
The room was ideal, we were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was the best we had had , with yogurt and fresh fruit salad, toast and jam and cheese and of course the great fresh croissants and juice. And a good pot of tea ( or coffee) the host was very helpful. It was winter so we ate breakfast indoors but in the summer it must be lovely to sit under the pergola looking at the mountains and the village above. The location is very centrally located near the main square. It is very hard to leave Ravello it is the perfect place on the Amalfi coast , away tourists, it is like a village but with some stunning villas and gardens. The views of the coast are amazing and people are friendly.
There is nothing I did not like. It would be nice though to have an electric kettle to boil water for a hot drink.
The room was very clean and the breakfast was enjoyable the first morning. It was a short distance to the main square.
There was no garden view but a busy car park. The breakfast didn't vary and by the third morning it got a little boring. We had a airport transfer mix up and the owner was extremely rude to us when we arrived late at night. My 2 year old son was really upset by him and cried every time he saw him after this. He tried to be pleasant after this but seemed tired out and negative after a summer looking after the b&b.
The service was exceptional. The room and location perfect. Even though we arrived late from Naples, we were met and greeted with an excellent cup of coffee after facing the challenges of driving in Southern Italy. Can't rate this place highly enough.
The printed map isn't that clear and we did have a little difficulty in finding the place. You park in the public car park and it is on your left.
Everything! Breakfast was superb, friendly staff- Pietro was so helpful, accommodating to our large family of 6 and also, gave the children croissants and water for our trip home! Rooms were very clean, exceptional towels and great beds. Quiet in evening. We loved our stay in Ravello - best location in town. Right down from Piazza and great huge parking if you need to have a car. Also, Ravello was our favorite town out of all the towns on Amalfi Coast. Charming, quaint, great restaurants and amazing views with out all the tourists and crazy hustle/crowds/traffic of Amalfi. We can't wait to go back for the summer Ravello music festival next summer!
We needed conditioner for hair which was not included in bathroom products.
The service was amazing, very accommodating. Great location only a set of stairs away from the main square. i would stay here again
A great location just by the main piazza. Pietro the manager was most welcoming and helpful. Super breakfast of fresh fruit, yoghurt, croissants, rolls etc and plenty of freshly brewed coffee. Well worth a visit, highly recommendable!
Nothing to dislike
This hotel was perfectly located in Ravello, if convenience is what you are after. A car park next door (extra charge) and only a 2 minute walk from the main piazza and duomo. Our room was superbly well appointed with a wonderful bed and shower, and beautiful hand-painted floor tiles.
Owner/manager very approachable and helpful. Location good for town centre. Views across mountains beautiful. Breakfasts good.
Breakfast patio could have been kept weed free and tidy. Steps to town centre could make it difficult for the less mobile.
The staff, the fresh clean and functional room, plenty of storage, fresh fruit and coffee every morning personally served to us by Pedro the host, and the willingness to oblige with any request that we had during our 5 day stay.
The fact that we had to leave Il Ducato and say good bye to the beautiful little town of Ravello .
Liked the location, large clean bathroom, staff was very helpful in arranging tours and boat rental, clean room and grounds. Lovely breakfast served either on the covered terrace or inside. Will definitely be back. Parking is literally across the street.
All the staff but especially Peter (The Manager) were very nice and welcoming. They went above and beyond with quality of customer service. Great place to stay. I highly recommend Il Ducato Di Ravello
Quality accommodation and very helpful manager
Nothing to complain of at Il Ducato
Everything. Great breakfast. Big room. Quiet, very clean, great shower
Pietro is a charming and attentive host.
Cleanliness and nothing was to much trouble for the staff and owner. Owner organised fantastic boat charter for Capri and he sorted trip to Pompeii at very good rate. Taxis were also booked and were cheaper. Friendly advise meant that we missed nothing. All very good. Thanks
Would have liked tea and coffee in room as reception was not always manned.
Woke up early - location by car park is a bit noisy.
We had a superior room with lounge which was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Lovely touches with welcome drink of prosecco and very tasty, generous breakfast. Very helpful owner.
Is right next to car park - but no noise and views of sea and valley compensated.
Large clean and very stylish well kept rooms, great location just two minutes walk from the piazza, excellent breakfast and friendly helpful and hard working staff!
Maybe not having somewhere to sit outside the room. But the piazza is so close you can just walk up the steps and sit there and watch the world go by!
I did not expect much when I saw that this hotel was situated next to the main Ravello car park however I was pleasantly surprised. The owner is lovely and makes you feel so welcome. The rooms are spacious, very clean and very well appointed with everything you need. The breakfast is generous and delicious and the view from the outside dining area is great. Located just down a set of stairs from the main square it is very convenient.
Not great views from the rooms, but such great value for money so only a very small thing.
-Excellent location. -Very spacious, cool and immaculately clean room. -Lovely fresh breakfasts. -Excellent Wi-Fi connection. -
-Cleaner was a little stingy replenishing toilet paper and shower gels, we ran short a few times.
Absolutely fantastic staff - the hotel was in a great location well maintained and secure parking. Will defiantly return.
Mr. Pietro is the max. Near to the centre.
Just next to a car parking.
The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was served on a lovely patio with a fabulous view of the mountains. The breakfast itself was one of the best we've encountered in Italy!
Only minor issue was I had no view from my room. Other than that, I can't say a bad thing
