Only thing I would caution is that in the family room, the second room for the kids is actually a sofa bed, which was not readily apparent to me on the internet, and not ideal for older, larger kids, although it was doable. (also, if it is important to you, no view of the water.)
Pietro, the manager was fantastic. He was very accommodating and very friendly. And indeed, as reported, makes a phenomenal cup of cappuccino. His breakfast was terrific- abundant fresh, ripe fruit, pastries, breads, juice, etc, and of course, the cappuccino. The location can't be beat- it is a few hundred feet away from the staircase that puts you smack in the middle of the central piazza in Ravello. Rooms are very spacious, which is unusual in the area, and that is important when you are staying several days and have a lot of luggage. Immaculate. My sister was there during the same time and stayed at a different, more expensive property. Yes, she had a magnificent view and tiny balcony, but the room was super tiny.. not even large enough to walk around in... So the rooms at Ducato were definitely better.
