We thought the food was less than impressive and overpriced.

The setting was very beautiful, the rooms were large and charming, the food was excellent, the staff were friendly and efficient, and it was a very relaxing environment.

If you are planning to stay for just one night and plan to take advantage of the spa or would like a tour of the winery/wine tasting, be sure to book it in advance as they usually require at least 24 hours notice. Also, if you are taking a train into Camucia/Cortona station, be sure to book a taxi to meet you there when you arrive as it is a very remote area and taxis are not readily available.

Unbelivable!...a wonderful experience.

We stayed here for 4 nights between stays in Florence and Rome with the crowds, churches, artwork and history. It was a perfect respite, beautiful, professional and friendly staff in a little village of its own.

My husband and I spent just one night of our honeymoon at Falconiere and we cannot recommend the place enough. If it is relaxation you are looking for, then you will not find many places to beat this. Yes, it is remote, but after the bustle of Rome, it was a welcome break. Although off the beaten track, the Relais is relatively simple to find and the track adds to the character of the place. On check-in in we were greeted with an upgrade to a Junior Suite which was amazing! The food is fantastic (and reasonably priced) and the wine selection is excellent. We dined in the Limonaia and enjoyed everything we ate. The service was outstanding and the staff genuinely went the extra mile and took pride in their work. My Husband and I are already planning a return trip for our anniversary and hope to take cookery lessons in the school!!

As we expect form Relais & Chateaux, lovely hotel and dinner was perfect.

Paisagens deslumbrantes, antiga propriedade familiar com paisagismo primoroso e arquitetura belissima. Possui um SPA excelente! Produtores de vinhos e azeite de ótima qualidade, vale fazer a visita a vinicola e a degustação de vinhos, guiada pelo proprietário Ricardo Baracchi. Não deixe também de jantar no restaurante com cenário e pratos maravilhosos!

Cuisine excéllente (petit déjeuner et diner), cadre très beau, tranquillité au milieu des vignes et fôrets, belle vue, endroit idéal pour se reposer, se balader et bien manger

Service au petit déjeuner moyen (trop peu de serveurs, et s'il y en avait, ils ont jamais proposé une deuxième boisson, des oeufs ou d'autres extras), chambre / sdb un peu veillot pour le prix, mais avec bcp de charme

Adoramos tudo! O hotel é super charmosos e o restaurante excelente. Não deixe de aproveitar o spa.

прекрасный персонал, особенно ресторана(включая завтрак). За исключением сотрудников ресепшн. Они работает до 10. Накануне мы специально позвонили предупредить,что можем задержаться из-за ужина(а всем известно,что в Италии они рано не начинаются). Приехали в 10.30, с трудом нашли хоть кого-нибудь. Прекрасный человек(сотрудник ресторана) терпеливо показал нам 3 комнаты(одна хуже другой, см. ниже), но поминутно был вынужден бегать к телефону, консультироваться с тем, кто за все это отвечает.

До стандартов Relais & Châteaux далеко, как до небес. Выбрала его именно за принадлежность к этой славной ассоциации (а также по рекомендации Simple) чтобы провести день рождения. На одну ночь может и ничего, чтобы перевести дух на пути от Ареццо к Сиене. Но мы,как на зло, приехали на три, а тратить время на поиски и переезд в другое место было жаль. В результате - самое катастрофическое разочарование и несоответствие цены(и репутации)и качества за все наши многочисленные итальянские путешествия. Может быть, когда-то тут все было хорошо. Предположим, представление о "замках и поместьях" у всех разные, но: засаленные и протертые до дыр диваны, плохо работающие замки, дырка в дверях на месте замочной скважины, полу-использованный флакон шампуня, плесень в ванной комнате на потолке и побитая эмаль самой ванны... Отдельное изумление вызвали дорожки: при том, что все помещения отеля расположены в отдельно стоящих строениях, большинство дорожек покрыто крупным гравием(и в основном нет возможности пройти из пункта А в пункт Б хотя бы по траве), что портит любую обувь, а о каблуках вообще речь не идет. Но тогда зачем открывать элегантный ресторан, предполагающий определенную форму одежды?... Интернет работает очень плохо и только в холодной гостиной в здании ресторана. Отопление ниже среднего: в первой комнате оно,кажется, не работало вовсе, нам дали крошечный слабо теплый обогреватель, который,зато, светил так ярко, что можно было читать книжку. На следующий день нас переселили в джуниор сьют(!!). Там было чуть приятней в целом и значительно теплее: целых 2 работающих кондиционера, воздух нагревали хорошо, но спать позволяли с большим трудом и мы постоянно просыпались, потому что они не просто шумели, но постоянно включались и выключались, щелкая и издавая массу разнообразных звуков. Таким образом, не то, что об ощущении заявленного "de luxe", но и о простом отдыхе в деревенской тишине не могло быть и речи.

Le cadre et la qualité du personnel

La posizione strategica per andare ovunque in poco tempo: Siena, Perugia, Arezzo ecc. Inoltre è l'ambiente ideale per una vacanza in relax in mezzo al verde della campagna! Lo staff è eccezionale molto disponibile! la camera grandissima e accogliente!

è da far presente che i teli del centro benessere che avevamo erano sfilacciati..e a nostro parere..la colazione era perfetta ma mancava solo una piccola ma utile cosa: un tostapane !

el chateau es muy acogedor y la decoracion y el personal es acorde a lo esperado. el restaurante no esta a la altura de los relais chateaux, es buena la comida pero demasiado cara para ser de la cadena. como lugar es hermoso.

The peacefulness of the area. The Chateaux is very nice and very cleaned. The breakfast and the restaurant have excellent food. The bar has excellent drinks.

There are no alternatives regarding the food. There is only one restaurant which serves dinner (excellent but very expensive - average price for a couple EUR200). We asked for some light food ie a sandwich or a similar but we were told that we could only have some light food in our room (not at the bar). The price for this light food was very high (from EUR22 to EUR38 per plate) for dining in the room.

Todo en general es precioso, y el staff muy servicial. Destacaría el restaurante, excelente comida y servicio.

Los precios de la carta de vinos son un poco altos en comparación con restaurantes del mismo nivel en España.

Ausgezeichnete Lage direkt in der Natur. Das Personal war sehr bemüht jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und fielen durch ihre guten Englischkenntnisse auf, was in Italien selbst in einem 5-Sterne-Haus nicht selbstverständlich ist. Überraschend vielfältiges und sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet.
