Il Fascino Di Roma  

Sijainti oli otollinen nähtävyyksiin tutustumisen kannalta. Ostoskatu lähellä, kaupat auki myös sunnuntaina. Pikkupurtavaa sai kadulta. Jääkaappi huoneessa mahdollisti maitopullon ja eväiden säilytyksen. Aamupala ok. Tilataksin tilaus onnistui.

Vettä piti laskea kauan, ennen kuin tuli lämmintä ja veden paine oli mitätön. Suihkukopissa ja vessassa ei ollut ainuttakaan hyllyä, johon laskea tavaroita. Yksi pyyhekoukku. Liian vähän sähköpistokkeita. Kaapin ovea aukaistaessa avain kolisi lattialle joka kerta. Vessapaperiteline tuskin pysyi kiinni seinässä. Katumelu ja naapurien äänet kuuluivat selvästi. Aamiaishuoneen pöydät olivat lapsiperheelle hyvin hankalat, sillä ne olivat tosi pienet ja kattauksessa oli käytetty pikkukäsiä houkuttelevia ylisuuria tabletteja, jotka vetäisemällä sai aikaan kaaosta. Tuplarattaat eivät mahtuneet häkkihissiin vaan piti kantaa rappusia pitkin ensimmäiseen kerrokseen. Sängyn alla oli hirveästi pölyä. Parisänky oli liian lyhyt.

Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä.

Kylpyhuone oli epäsiisti. Äänet kuuluivat käytävästä ja äänieristystä ei ollut, samoin aamiaishuone oli käytävässä ja kiukkuisia naamoja ilmestyi ovista, kun lapsista lähti aikaisella aamupalalla ääntä.

Olin erittäin tyytyväinen valintaani. Hintalaatusuhde erinomainen. Olen ollut 15 eri majoituksessa Roomassa. Tämä sijoittui kärkipäähän tarpeeni huomioiden, siis kohteisiin tutustuminen, Terminin läheisyys, josta lähtevät linja-autot eri suuntiin.

Palvelu oli erittäin ystävällistä, henkilökunta aurinkoista ja rehellistä. Apua sai kaikkeen, nähtävyydetkin neuvottiin, kuinka kannattaa mennä. Huone siivottiin päivittäin. Hotelli kodikas, yleiset tilat pieniä ja rauhallisia. Sijainti erinomainen. Henkilökunnan kanssa pystyi aina juttelemaan, vaikkeivat kaikki englantia ymmärtäeetkään. Sopii matkailijalle, joka kiertää päivän kohteissa.

Sänky kova.

Henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällinen, palveluhenkinen ja neuvoi mielellään. Hotellin sijainti on erinomainen: lähellä Terminin rautatieasemaa, mutta myös lähellä keskeisiä nähtävyyksiä ja kaupallista keskustaa. Metroasema on aivan hotellin vieressä. Myös aamupala oli hyvä, ja erikseen tarjottu Cappucino erinomaista. Huoneessa oli jääkaappi. Hotellin hinta-laatusuhde on erinomainen.

Sisääntulo on ongelma. Ovessa tai sen lähistöllä ei ole selkeää kylttiä. Hotellin nimi näkyy ainoastaan soittokellon viressä olevassa pienessä lapussa. Tämä olisi todella helposti ratkaistavissa laittamalla Via Firenze 25:n oven yläpuolelle hotellin kyltti. Kahden hengen huone on melko pieni.

The water pressure for flush toilet is very very small. The breakfast is so so. The facilities are old and need to be improved. Received no WiFi in the room.

Room have a little smell

It is easy to walk to the place from the metro station of piazza republica. Staff are all very nice and friendly. Good breakfast is provided.

The shower space is a bit limited.

The staff is really nice and the hotel is located in a nice area, with a subway station just 2 blocks away.

The room was extremely small for a family of 4, and the bathroom was even smaller. Maybe this is common in Europe, but coming from usa you will be surprised for the size.

All the Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room OK for budget B&B. Hot water in shower and good flow. WIFI in room free. Think high I thought there was no TV until i looked up, only Italian programs. Likewise the towels were high! Eat lunchtime at the La Griffe Luxury Hotel, Via Nazionale, 13 just around the corner, Unlimited 15euro buffet, great view from top floor restaurant.

I did not look too closely at the picture of the entrance. Look High for the number 25 and on the bells for Il Fascino Di Roma. Bit tricky if you are not clued up opposite Hotel Paris..

The staff was very friendly and did its best, nice breakfast, very good location, you have your own kitchen which you can use any time you want.

Very noisy (it depends of your neighbours), very old and small rooms, but that is enouth to spend several nights.

The staff was excellent, very helpful, always available. The location is excellent. Two minutes walking from the metro station Repubblica and 5 minutes walking from Termini. The price is excellent, one single bed room for 35 euros/night at this location is rare!

A little bit old building making the room seem dirty and smelly! But if you don't go for romance, you don't even pay attention to this.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, great location and good value. Breakfast wasn't anything to write home about, but fine by Italian standards. The room was pleasant and comfortable, and the hotel is walking distance (if you're good walkers!) from just about all the major sights.

A few minor bathroom problems: sink drain was clogged and never properly cleaned; toilet seat was wobbly. The walls in the room could use a fresh coat of paint.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. When we checked into our room the staff person at the reception desk pulled out a map of Rome and spent nearly 15 minutes giving us advice on where to go and what to see, as well as where to eat. We tried out some of his suggestions and they were indeed good choices! Everything about Il Fascino was comfortable and pleasant. The breakfast was very good with things for everyone's taste. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean. Its location, on the via Nazionale and near Termini station, is a short walk from many of Rome's main attractions, and the locale is pleasant and safe to walk at night. At the end of our stay we had to leave very early in the morning, so the night before staff reception booked a taxi for us and let us pay in advance, making our departure very smooth. Il Fascino is definitely a good deal!

Excellent location close to the city center just few steps from bus stops, underground and only 5 minutes walking from Termini station. Also staff is always available to be at your disposal and very helpful to give you the first advices where to go, when and how. Breakfast was not so rich but for us it was sufficient and quite tasty.

Compare to others, price was good. However, the room was very small (really very small!) with the window leading to the narrow court (more like some kind of shaft), so there was no daylight coming from outside into the room. In addition, there was some kitchen under the hotel with the ventilation leading to the same shaft, causing the air from outside smelled very bedly (old burned oil or something like that) so it was impossible to open the window to refresh the air in the room. Walls are thin, so people walking for the breakfast woke me up each morning. To sum up, it is not very comfortable to stay in the room, but it is sufficient to rest and recharge your energy before starting your next exploration trip to the city.
