There is a lovely square at the centre, and a lot of almost derelict streets. The ‘farm cultural park ‘ is a beacon for so many decaying urban centres around the world. This is not an easy tourist experience but it’s a worthwhile one.

You can buy some snacks and something to drink inside in the vending mashines. The host is very nice, helpful and kind. In the morning we got cornettos and coffees. Very clean and our bathroom was excellent. The hotel is located extremely well for visiting the Valley of the Temples and Agrigento. The spacious and well-equipped communal terraces with views of the surrounding countryside were really welcome and above and beyond what you would expect.
