Il Melograno In Costa D'Amalfi

The owners really made the place, Rosa and Marco, bent over backwards to make us happy and welcome. Rosa's breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. We tried their fruit that they produce, very flavorsome. They invited us out and for dinner. They really made you feel at home and kept on checking that we were satisfied. The apartment was well catered and kept extremely clean on a daily basis. The location is good, quite a few places of interest and would really recommend taking the traghetto (boat) to take you to smaller beaches along the coast.

Raito is a small local village with a lot of character, however it is more than 15 minutes steep walk down to the beach and the ascent can be tough if you are not super fit. I would recommend you hire a car rather than rely on public transport which could be scarce and mean a lot of waiting around, but if you come in peak season be prepared to park quite far.

Amazing bed&breakfast with a gorgeous view, friendly staff and a beautiful garden full of organic fruit. Such an enjoyable place.

Wunderbare Aussicht vom Zimmer und Terasse, liebevoll eingerichtetes Zimmer, schöne Lage zwischen Zitronen und Grantapfelbäumen, sehr freundliche und bemühte Besitzer. Geeignet für alle, die in einem charmanten und authentisch-italienischen Bed&Breakfast wohnen wollen.

Man muss sich im Klaren sein, dass der Weg von/nach Strand und Vietri-sul-Mare ohne eigenes Fahrzeug beschwerlich ist (Bus eher selten, zu Fuss steile Treppen oder Nationalstrasse ohne Fussgängerweg).

B&B Hotel med fantastiskt läge i liten romantisk by med vidunderlig utsikt över Amalfikusten. Vi fick egen lägenhet med stora luftiga utrymmen och egen terrass på vilken det serverades en utmärkt frukost. Bärhjälp av bagaget tillhandahölls genom smala gränder då man inte kan köra fram med bilen. Värdfolket gav oss riklig information om områdets möjligheter och hjälpte oss på bästa sätt. Vi planerar redan återbesök.

Lite svårt att hitta B&B i byn med mycket slingriga och "smala" gator! Glöm att använda bil större än Fiat 500 eller liknande!

la posizione della struttura, non facilmente raggiungibile, la stanza, priva di tende oscuranti con conseguente sveglia naturale all'alba, il bagno privo di bidet e di doccia con flessibile, con conseguenze immaginabili!

Within the limits of their b&b (not hotel), the owners did their best to be helpful, but, see problems below.

This is only a b&b consisting of 2 apartments. There is not always free public parking. Parking is a major problem and, contrary to the published information, there is no private parking or on-site parking. You cannot rely on being able to park anywhere near the house. The nearest place of any kind to leave the car is a very steep, stepped walk of approx 300 yards away. There is no internet available except on the goodwill of the owner and in his apartment on his computer. The apartments are quite shabby I would only give it 7out of 10 for cleanliness.
