Really close to centre
The location was good, being within walking distance to the centre of town. It was good to have a fridge in the room and to be able to prepare our own food. The room was spacious with our own bathroom and our daughter liked having the steps up to her bed. It was very clean too.
The number of utensils in the kitchen was limited, but we did manage to cook ourselves a meal each night. The staff varied- some were very friendly and helpful, others much less so.
The location was excellent for visiting the sights of Milan and within easy reach of both railway stations. Bathroom and shower really clean and a generous size.
The sheets were too small for the double bed. The photo of the view from the rooms doesn't give a true picture, the courtyard garden actually is small and rather sad looking.
I had a crisis the night before leaving and they were very obliging. The room made me feel like I was "home". It was simple, yet spacious and comforting.
I was there just for one night, my bed was under the conditioner and during all night it was falling water on my head, the bed was unconfortable as well, the team was not so friendly and in the batroom was bad smell. So bad experience .
Location is great and almost everything you'd want to see in Milan is about 30 minutes walk. The atmosphere was nice, too. Calm, relaxed but youthful
As one might expect from the price (it is rather cheap, given the location and the comfortable clean rooms), you'll have to pay extra for everything. Yes, the towels too.
Great location and really good price!! Nice design!
Relatively clean and not awful
Nothing special and lacking in atmostphere.
Locatio and setting
Great location. Close to the metro and also The Brera area (small bars and restaurants), close walk to main attractions/shopping areas. Great for a nice, clean inner city hostel without being party central. Very accommodating staff.
Wifi a little slow, not a huge lounge area.
Within walking distance of restaurants and Metro.
Check-in was slow. Making your own bed.Staff didn't know where a mail box was.
Room is very spacey. Almost feel like a private room! Shower is very good. Near metro station. Staff let me check in early like before 1pm.
Kitchen is poor. That metro station is a bit quiet.
Location in the heart of Brera Clean Quiet Safe Cheap Nice view on the monastery courtyard from the room
Only basic equipment Irregular wifi connection
Close to the citycenter and Milano Centrale fs, every dorm has its own bathroom.
The staff is not O.K. 1.They came in to the room to show a new person in at midnight while 3 people were already asleep and just turned on the big light (while every bed has a nightlight as well). 2. I wanted to stay an extra (third) night. I asked the first day and the told me to come back the next day (while checking out my daughter). When I came, there appeared be only a private room for 44 euro.
Value for money
The definition of a hostel, one must pay for everything apart from sheets and a pillow
It was very clean and modern, the bed was comfy, the staff were helpful, there was air con, it was only 15min walk to city centre or a 2 min walk to the metro
The wifi wasn't great, you had to buy a towel, you had to make your own bed, there were a lot of rules, there was no soap in the bathroom to even just wash your hands
- One guy from the staff was very unfriendly, sometimes even rude; - You have to pay for many things that are free in 95% of other hostels; - My window was facing internal air conditioner that made a lot of noise 24 hours.
Excellent location, great and affordable place for backpackers
Do not confuse this hostel for a hotel. It is a great hostel, but not a great hotel.
this was like an adventure to me, though once is enough.
a bit too expensive for what we got
The people working in the welcome desk were very rude, failed to answer a simple question about parking.
Great location close to metro and nice area
It was close to the metro, and walking distance to a lot of restaurants and things, they do have 24 hour reception. The bathroom was nice, and the room was a nice size, there was actually space for luggage.
the person who checked us in was painfully slow, and he wasnt very helpful (although the other staff was good) and they nickle and dime you for everything, they dont provide towels, you have to rent them, you need to make your own bed and bring your sheets down at checkout. They dont have blankets.
The double room with private bathroom was pretty good.
The air conditioned was noisy.
The location is perfect, near train station and in the city. The beds and Bathroom were good. Friendly helpful staff
We thought there was a garden but there is not. Price/quality ratio is a bit high but I guess thats everywhere in Milano.
The man at the reception George was very rude and unhelpful. He said to me "give me a negative feedback"! The bedside lights were not working in the room - just the main one and the bed was itchy. The kitchen area was filthy. I did ask for a full refund after the first night but was refused.so I had to stay the second night in these terrible conditions as the room was paid for. I would not recommend this hostel to anyone.
