Our room was untidy (dirty towels on the floor in the bathroom). We had to complain and then we received a new room. A small lizard on the wall in our room.
+ The location; Walking distance to the beach. The Albatross camping just opposite with full access to their facilities. + The air-condition. + Bed linen and towels included although announced it wouldn't be. + Own parking always available. + Enough space for a family of four.
- No wifi. - Too small shower cabin.
It's right next to the Albatros Park and you can take advantage of its perks and facilities (pools, supermarket, internet point, restaurant, etc) The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and - contrary to what sometimes shows online - they do provide towels. The price was extremely reasonable. We had two rooms, a double I shared with a friend and a quadruple our four kids used. They were in different buildings (the kids' was part of a separate dependance, but since three of them are older teenagers it wasn't a problem for us)
The building is clearly older and it had a bit of a musty smell. The pillows were a bit flat. Nothing that was particularly bothering, though. The rooms were just fine for what we needed them for: sleep and take a shower.
Bed was clean Camping/resort facilities in the park available for hotel guests too (pools, bikes, market, restaurants, bar) Walking distance to a nearby beach
Nobody works at reception. Looks like a ghost, abandoned hotel. Unwelcoming first impression No sign about where to check in unless you meet another guests by chance or walk around. Bathroom could be cleaner. Helpful Note: check in is actually at the camping site.
Good for a local uncrowned beach. Comfortable if you are not too fussy. You could complain a lot about this place, but we has a good time. The staff from the adjacent Albatross park did what they could for us. We had free access to the facility's at the park, which -if we had kids- looks like a perfect holiday resort. Good place for couple, VERY good large al fresco pizza bar down the road 1 km from the House.
IT IS NOT A HOTEL it's a house, there are no staff, no restaurant, no bar. There is no evident maintenance outside. The place looks derelict. It is a pity, however with only 9 rooms it wouldn't pay to staff the place for the low price they charge.
