The location, the beach, the views, the breakfast and the cleaning.
The room had no good soundproofing and we could hear the noise from other rooms and the hallway.
It is really good hotel with the own beach, amazing location in a beautiful Tellaro. 1. free safety parking 2. tasty and reach breakfast 3. A lot od restaurants close to the hotel 4. nice beach with the bar
there is no wi-fi and even in lobby you should pay for it, I think it is unacceptable for such hotel.
situation was delightful if you can manage all those steps to the beach! good breakfast and lovely views - very jolly helpful staff who directed us to the best places to eat in Tellaro. Also easy to drive into Lerice for dinner.
Our dbl bed was pretty hard, and a new mattress might have been more comfortable.
- the building in the side of the beach (there is another across the street: beware!) - the private beach - the bar and restaurant close to the beach.
The building in the other side of the street: beware!! You see the hotel in booking.com but never imagine that the room you reserve is in other building with no charm at all, and you need to cross a charged trafic street to get to your rooms. Very bad for family with young kids!!
Friendly, helpful staff in a good location on the coast with a private beach. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Basic but adequate buffet breakfast.
Parking is about 50 m away and the hotel is on the opposite side of the road with the entrance down around 50 steps. Access to the beach is steep down many steps.
I liked the breakfast and the beach
The toilet of the beach club wasn't clean and the toilet seat was broken and in terms of location it was all the way at the top of the stairs.
Just returned from a lovely stay at Il Nido. We had a triple room with a panoramic sea view from our balcony which we will remember forever. Room was a good size with air conditioning and a good sized bathroom. Spotless and well equipped although we were only in room to sleep and shower. The hotel has its own private beach and many sun terraces, never a problem to get a chair on the beach or a sun bed. The staff were great, nothing too much trouble, great people all of them. Kayaks and all manner of beach equipment provided, beach towels etc all included. Great breakfast, loads of choice and everything super fresh. Beach bar great for lunch and snacks. Lots of restaurants near by for dinner Really relaxing and 40 mins on two buses takes you to La Spezia for trains to cinque terre but Tellaro was beautiful.
Perfect, would reccomend to anyone for a relaxing break. Staff super helpful, we will definately return.
The beach, quiet room and delicious breakfast!
Only 30 mins wifi in lobby the rest had to be paid for
The breakfast was really nice, having a very wide range of options.
You can't charge people for Wifi in 2014 with 2E/30 minutes, it ridicoulous!!! Internet should be a standard convenience in a decent hotel. Also the noise in the hotel is very high (especially if you like to get up late you will hear everyone walk, talk through the walls.
It's located in a small local village away from the big tourist attractions
The beds were very low quality and not comfortable. Our room was right on the main road and was VERY Noisy. It was the poorest value for the money of our entire vacation
The location was wonderful, superb views from every angle. The staff were friendly and a comprehensive breakfast to suit everyone's taste ensured a good start to the day. We were both impressed by the standard of English spoken in this hotel. Cinzia went out of her way to greet guests personally and said that she enjoyed practising her language skills with guests. It was a pleasure to see someone who obviously cares and takes pride in their work.
The terrace of our 'superior' room was smaller than all of the others and therefore inferior. There was no room for the sun loungers, one had to sit in front and one behind, the table and chairs were plastic and not like the furniture provided for the other rooms and a waste pipe leaked water onto the terrace. Disappointing! Don't choose room 38.
nice rooms, perfect location, good staff, clean, parking ok, nice beach, quiet place with nice view
Great place, cozy hotel. Good place to stay, if you want to explore Cinque Terra.
Perfect place for travellers who like quiet place, nice positioned with own parking and well organised beach. Perfect staff!!
Just weather during this July (2014) but this isn't hotel problem
Breakfast is very very good. They also have very beautiful private beach.
I don't like family rooms - they aren't separated with doors.
Very nice place! We loved the view, the location and staff were very friendly. The private beach was great and the breakfast was very rich. A lot of steps - for your fitness.
The stuff are super friendly. Breakfast has a wide variety. Its mini private beach is just excellent.
Private beach, beautiful, kayaking, breakfast, clear water, friendly staff, good family rooms.
No restaurant at hotel.
The views from the breakfast room and cliff deck are breathtaking. We also particularly enjoyed the extensive choice of breakfast and the quality of food. The staff were all very friendly and helpful particularly Cinzia in the breakfast room. The hotel is also well located near a small, typical Italian village and other destinations such as Florence and cinque terre are very accessible. Good and secure parking and air conditioned rooms which were very clean and well maintained.
Really more than you should expect from a 3 star. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, even when busy. They could not do more for you. A special thank you to Cinzia who makes all the wonderful cakes and pastries for breakfast and they are mouthwatering!! One day they ran out of coconut yoghurt, no big deal, but the next day, Cinzia came over to give me the some coconut to put in my yoghurt. Its the thought behind these things that really makes you feel special. Even though it rained, all the staff made you want to smile!
nothing, wonderful stay.
