Hotel Pupetto enjoys a beautiful location in Positano, directly on the charming beach of Fornillo, one of the most reserved and quiet spots of the city.
Score from 227 reviews Very good
Grand Hotel Excelsior offers a swimming pool, free parking, and a free shuttle to its private beach and to central Amalfi. Each room has a private balcony with views of the sea.
Score from 246 reviews Good
Villa Rina dates back to the 14th century and offers incredible views and excellent local cuisine. You'll appreciate the friendly service and comfortable guest room with your own balcony.
Score from 95 reviews Wonderful
Incredible good location. Very kind staff.
My wife found it fairly clean, but if you are a man you will find it good enough.
All rooms (apart from one) have large private balconies with views over the ocean. Breakfast is really good and the dining room also overlooks the ocean. Staff are friendly, wifi is fast. It's a 10 minute walk from the centre of Amalfi (uphill) so is quiet for quality sleep.
A minor thing - the elevator only goes to the 2nd floor and we had to drag our cases up to the 3rd floor.
great location. easy walk to town. staff very helpful. good variety for breakfast, will even prepare to order.
great breakfast, fantastic staff, parking!!! , the view across the sea and the village , bus stop at the door , scenery
bed and breakfast only, no tea making facilities - restaurants a little far
The view from the room, parking, the size of the room is OK, breakfast regular: yogurt, fruits, cakes.
The hotel is on the main road so it is very noisy during the day. It is aproximately 15 minuts walk to Amalfi and you need to use steps.
Parking which was a bonus in Amalfie
Much further out if town than expected. Staff not that friendly.
Fantastic spacious room with balcony and superb views. Breakfast was good too with a decent choice of continental good.
Walk into/from town centre could be difficult because of lack of pavement & blind corners and taxis aren't a realistic option on a daily basis as very expensive - I.E. we paid 20 euros to get to the bus station less than a mile away on the occasion walking wasn't an option due to luggage. That said, walk is not particularly far - 15 mins ish (at slow pace), and it wouldn't put us off staying again - and certainly a good exchange for the balcony and views, and we wouldn't have got by staying in the town. Amalfi itself is beautiful, we can't wait to go back.
The hotel was in a beautiful location just a 10 min walk to amalfi central. Shops, restaurants etc. The room had a fantastic view, large balcony. Room was presented clean. Hotel has alot of old charm character. Blessed to have stayed in such a place and the hotel staff were wonderful :)
We had an excellent room with a great view. We we only 15 minutes walk from the center of Amalfi. The staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was great.
Great location, walk into Amalfi is taxing but this is normal along the whole Amalfi coast. Clean, bright rooms. Superb dining room with excellent views. Breakfast a little sparse but good.
Dreadful steps to climb; dangerous road on which to walk to get to town
they offerd us not the room rate we reserved and paid for. we received the room only after we argeued. niysy located on the maen roud. the walk to the center is very dangerous. difficalt to clime on the way back.
Great location, fantastic view from the terrace of the room and very generous breakfast. Less than 10 minutes walk from the centre of Amalfi. Lovely staff.
view in the room
If you want to have a little break from the crowds of the centre and are prepared to walk hundreds of stairs then this is your place. We sat on the balcony and looked out over the water :)
It was the most expensive place that we stayed in and while it is great; the high season prices aren't really value for money
Really wonderful views away from the noise on the centre. Great helpful staff and good breakfast
The walk back up the hill !!
Great view from the balcony overlooking the ocean and back to Amalfi. Free wifi, free car parking and breakfast included. We liked being a little out of Amalfi - 10 minutes walking, maybe 15 minutes back.
111 steps up to our room which was a great workout several times a day. We were on the top floor. Ok for us but if you struggle with stairs this would be a problem.
amazing view comfortable, big room lovely staff private parking lot private balkony
old bathroom weak wi-fi connection
Views, comfy bed, garage space for car, good service.
Wifi not very good. No restaurant.
Great location and breakfast and free parking.
We loved our room, which overlooked the Bay of Amalfi The breakfast was very good, great choise of meats, cereal, fruit and lovely coffee. The location worked for us as we like to walk. Only a short walk to the downtown area. Also the Bus stopped right outside of the Hotel The room had an amazing view of the Medeteranian .
Good location, a walking distance to Amalfi No problem with parking our car.(free of charge) Friendly staff Nice breakfast Excellent sea view
rooms were not so clean. bathroom was very old.
The staff were wonderful and spoke English. We had a crisis (broke arm) and we phoned them for help and they did everything they could to assist. The view is absolutely out of this world. Stunning! Every morning it was a delight to get up to another variation of the view, depending on what the weather was doing. The breakfasts were delicious with a wide range of tempting food. We also enjoyed the typically Italian decor which fitted so well with the location. A big plus was the free parking. A very well run hotel indeed. Highly recommended.
I can't think of a single thing I didn't like.
We were living at 3rd floor, the room has a balcony with very nice view of the see! Perfect location, not in the town, but just 10 min walking.
Martino was outstanding and ready to please. Rooms were well equipped and charming...and with a beautiful view. Breakfast was nice, and again, customer service was among the best in Italy.
Only complaint was the wifi....it was intermittent.
