very clean and very kind staff. Good location (near metro station).
not very comfortable bed and pillows.
The location near the Dante metro station, the cleanliness and comfort of the room. Breakfasts are OK: not so diverse, but it was nice to enjoy a good coffee before leaving to do some sightseeing!
The noise from the street and mostly from the corridor in the hotel. Every hotel resident has to ring for the door to be opened so we were easily waken up when people were coming back in the evenings. The equipment in the shower would need a revision - we were waken up in the middle of the night by water dripping from the shower head. And every day we had to wait very long for the hot water to come in the shower.
A scary, uninviting facade and unlocked outer gate shouldn't scare you away. Spacious, comfortable room; modern, clean bathroom; nice garden/patio for unwinding; close proximity to major archaeology museum and Dante metro station.
Breakfast was a little disappointing--pod-machine coffee and no protein. Garbage trucks came by on the street at about 5:30 each morning we were there making a racket. No elevator.
Room was spacious for the 3 of us. Nice breakfast area with many choices for a continental breakfast. Outside patio to relax.
Climbing the stairs because the B&B is on the second floor. Needs a bit more lighting in the bathroom.
1.)got a taxi for us at 4:30am 2.)comfortable mattress and sheets 3.)nice, modernist renovation 4.)rooftop garden 5.)large, tiled shower 6.)about 8 blocks from Archaeological Museum
1.)mosquitos and no screens 2.)no sign on street, only a small plaque on the wall with b&b name 3.)up two flights of stone steps--no elevator 4.)front door opens off smelly courtyard
Very obliging and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room, nice airy breakfast facilities and the espresso machine was much appreciated. The courtyard garden was an unexpected green oasis for quiet relaxation. The location is ideal once you have a sense of the city's layout - it's close to the excellent National Archaeological Museum and easy walking distance from the central city.
lovely and clean - an oasis in Rome
wifi in front room only and we weren't told until just before we left
Clean and modern facilities Rooms are a good size Good location in centre of historical centre
Terrible shower - absolutely zero water pressure and generally freezing Threadbare pillows Street is not somewhere you would feel safe travelling alone
Clean room with AC. The staff was trying to be helpful.
The b&b staff doesn't speak English (or any other languages except Italian) AT ALL! You can't ask them even the most basic questions. The breakfast was also quite poor and there was hardly any water pressure in the shower. The b&b is situated in an extremely dirty neighbourhood.
room staff price
Very hospitable stuff, always trying to help even though speaking little English. Room we had is quiet and clean. We also had a big breakfast with coffee, milk, juice and a variety of pie and bread. We also get cheaper tax service ordering from the hotel. There is not a tiny thing we could complain about Il Paradiso di Dante. It should be a good choice if you want to stay in Naples :)
Diego was incredibly accommodating and kind and helped us organize a taxi in the morning and woke up early to serve us breakfast. The room was beautiful and clean and the bed was comfortable. The place went above and beyond my hopes for any bed and breakfast!
Very friendly staff who helped me and my friend.
The girl on reception when I arrived did organise me a taxi for the morning, which arrived promptly.
The noise during the night from the reception (situated to next to the room I was allocated) and from outside (a decidedly down trodden area) with people shouting in the street until the early hours of the morning was not conducive to a good nights sleep. No-one available at reception in the morning until prompted to be able to check out. No frontage on the B & B to make you aware that you had arrived at the correct place. No breakfast was offered, and there was a definite language barrier (I understand that I am as much to blame for this as they are). One last thing, the picture of the bed and headboard when booking online does not reflect the shock when you arrive down a dingy back street and find that this b & b is set in a residential area in a less than salubrious part of Naples. I won't be returning
Our room was very modrn and a good size. It was close to the metro station and easy to find. Lovely outdoor area/garden at the rear of property and totally unexpected.
Bed very firm.
