Nice location, warm host, quiet place, basic but tasty breakfast.
Not the best place for cardiac people: there are several rows of stairs you have to climb before to enter the building.
Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Spoke English as well as Italian. Was very helpful in arranging a taxi for us to the airport in Italian. The location was great for walking to major attractions. The price was right. It is located in a nice part of Genoa. No problem feeling safe about going out at night.
Very kindly owner, Room is cleaning and comfortable, Nice breakfast, Good value for price. Will come back if visiting Genova again !
Beautiful accommodation, comfortable and very clean. Location: 5-10 minutes walking distance from old city center and waterfront. Quiet area to sleep at night. Cinzia gave us great welcome and introduced as with all necessary information: what to see and where to eat. For me breakfast was not enough, but than again this is typical Italian breakfast: bread or rolls, butter, and jam. But Cinzia makes homemade pies and cupcakes that are wonderful. Wifi was not available all the time in all parts of our room. Yes there are many steeps in order to get to accommodation, but there is another way, easier, using Salita Inferiore di San Rocchino street. All in all I would recommend this accommodation to everyone.
Very good host. Nice decor, comfortable lounge and very clean rooms. Breakfast was great. Good location to the old city and waterfront.
Nice bathroom but the shower is tiny.
Very nice place. Host welcomed us, gave necessary information about the city. Morning breakfasts was wonderful!
The whole style
Very charming location in a traditional Genovese city house. Beautiful apartment, simple and stylish, just perfect. The host was very kind and helpful - you felt absolutely welcome.
An amazing place to stay in an amzing city, the B & B was perfect!! Couldn't recconmend this place more, a fantastic quiet location but only a 5 min walk to nice bars and good places to eat etc!! The host was lovely, she made us feel very welcome and suggested some nice things to do whilst in Genova... And the breakfast was bloody loveley too. A cracking place worth every penny!!
Great place to stay a few nights in Genoa. Nice location, perfect accomodation, really cosy. Everything was made to make our stay the most pleasant.
This is such a beautiful place! We only had one night on the way to Cinque Terre but we will be back! Genova is a fantastic city and this B&B is stunning! Cinzia met us 2pm even though check in usually isn't until 3pm. Breakfast is delightful and I can't recommend this place enough.
Nothing at all!
This is a super nice place to stay not far from the centro storico so the location is excellent. Everything about our stay here was perfect, especially the wonderful, friendly owner who speaks English. Private parking is provided up the street in a garage (extra charge). There is a restaurant just down the street. For expensive Genoa, this B&B provides very good value.
The apartment building sits up on a hill off Via Palestro so you will have to negotiate a climb of 56 steps to get there. The backside provides an easier way down once you've settled in.
Beautiful apartment, perfect hosts, amazing breakfast. This is a gem in the heart of Genoa.
Convenient location - walking distance to the center, wonderful B&B beautifully decorated, comfortable rooms. Very accomodating staff. All good.
To arrive to the building, a big number of steps awaits you. When you have luggage this is a challenge!
Lovely place, lovely host, quiet place. Everything was perfect!
Lovely room, and very gracious hostess, comfortable bed. Car park is in a secure facility nearby.
The steps.. The only way in is via a couple of flights of steps. Pack an overnight bag only for your stay.
Owners are wonderful.
No wifi in our room.
* The hotel is a regular flat of 4-5 rooms in fact. No reception, no staff - you will be only met on arrival and the girl will serve the breakfast. * The staff almost did not speak English, only the woman on checkin was speaking well. * The hotel is too hard to find. We were walking almost a hour from the railway station over the city hills and then we had to use GPS to find exact building. NO signs or arrows around. The hotel sent a email with detailed way but I did not realize that time that it woud be SO useful. * The floor in the room was made of stone and there was a bit cold so I'd recommend to place the carpet on the floor. * Wifi was not working. * Poor breakfast. * Every sound will be heard in other rooms so we tried to be quiet. Don't plan to have a loud sex.
Interior! A friendly hostess.
The welcome of a nice sitting room with tea and coffee facilities on arrival. The owner was very friendly and helpful with information about the city. It felt rather like a second home. It is really access to the historic city.
Steps up to the B&B but then that's Genoa!
We had an excellent time in this B&B. The room was very clean. The breakfast was good. The host was kind and very helpful, she gave us a few tips to enjoy Genova.
The wifi could not reach our room and we had to use it in the common areas
