Antonella went out of her way to make you feel comfortable. She is full of local advice. We loved our evenings around the fireplace soaking up the local atmosphere. This is a great base for viewing Cinque Terre leaving car at hotel ( great parking too) and catching a bus directly across the road. Would definitely recommend this friendly hotel.
The owner was fantastic with lots of advice. Beautiful breakfast
Helpful & accommodating staff, great stay away from the crowds. A car is a must. Shuttle bus is very near hotel and drops off by train station in Manarosa. Rooms were comfy & clean, nice bathroom. Town has tiny grocery for sandwiches, drinks & essentials.
Walls were thin and you could hear neighboring rooms. Pillows were flat with no extras.
1.super super neat 2.multiple choices of breakfast
our neighbour is somehow a bit annoying, they kept talking all night
I wish I could remember her name, but she was the most accommodating host we encountered on our 3 week Italian vacation. Twice we had to bring dinner back to the hotel (no tables avail at the restaurant) and twice she helped us set up and clean up after dinner. Bus stop was close by. I would recommend this hotel without reservation.
We drove right past it the first time and I had to ask a local for directions. It would be helpful if in the confirm email there was a picture of what this looks like from the street. You know how it is trying to keep up with Italian drivers on windy, narrow roads, any clue would help.
Place is located just above Manarola village, away from the hassle of the crowded villages. It's a peaceful getaway after a long day at the Cinque-Terre. Staff is very friendly and welcoming, helped us with recommendations where to eat and where and how to travel around. Garage parking is spaceful and comfortable. Breakfeast was nice with a bonus of fresh fruits. rooms were clean, specious and comfortable.
Mind that there are only 2 restaurants in Voltara. We had a car so drove down 3 minutes to Manarola and had great dinner there as well.
Very good position, fantastic help from the front desk , great position for starting fabulous hiking towards Manarola over the vinyards hills. Close around the corner 2 small but fair restaurants with typical Cinque Terre meals. Parking available, breakfast good, all in all I was very content.
Wifi available only in breakfast hall and by no means in the rooms, internet signal low and dropping down constantly. Can't see the reason why lunch or finner not possible inside the premises ...
We had a hire car and this is an excellent hotel, in a little town called Volastra, about 10 minutes drive from Manarola. The lady at reception is very friendly and helpful and speaks good English. Free parking and a good breakfast. Good value for money.
No fault of the hotel, but there are only 2 restaurants in Volastra. If we were staying longer, we would have caught the shuttle bus to Manarola or Riomaggiore for dinner. May not the best location if travelling by train to Cinque Terre, as you would have to catch the shuttle bus to the hotel, but a good location if travelling by car.
Antonella is a wonderful hostess. She does it all and made sure our time at the hotel was superb. We were very well looked after. The hotel is located away from main town of Manarola and it's very easy just to catch bus to Manarola. Highly recommend staying here.
Felt very sad leaving.....
Personable service, lots of good info on trains, boats, etc.
Breakfast could be earlier

It was very good, away from the crowds, and Cinque Terra is over crowded with tourists, actually the crowds make the towns unattractive. Way too busy. The hotel was up the hill, a short bus ride away, so it was great. Two restaurants within a two minute walk, great views, peaceful.
Wonderful family run spot to enjoy Cinque Terre, especially if you have a car (free parking provided). Antonella is very welcoming and helpful. Easy access to park shuttle into Manarola. From there you can catch the train or the ferry to all of the other towns.
away from the main Cinque Terre stops, comfortable room, helpful owner, beautiful area
the bus up from Manarola stops at 7:40PM, wifi weak until we mentioned it then better, nearby restaurant (only choice while there) not so great
The villa was friendly and comfortable. The drinks were excellent value and the hostess was very accommodating and helpful.Bus to the train station at Manarola right a across the road, good on site parking. There are a couple of lovely restaurants in walking distance
Breakfast could be better with more options.
Very quite location. Antonella is very friendly. Nice breakfast
Antonella, the owner, was very friendly and helpful and served a wonderful breakfast. Free parking and easy bus connection or walk down to Manarola with wonderful views. Perfect place to visit the Cinque Terre villages from.
A wonderful setting but we had no view from our room. We ate at the Trattoria. The food was ok but the waiter was very amusing. Antonella was very welcoming and friendly.
Family who run the B&B are very friendly and helpful - couldn't do enough for you - excellent service. Brilliant that the bar is open for drinks/coffee/snacks.
Air conditioning would have been nice.
Hotel is clean, and staffs are very kind. They are very good at English.
Super clean, balacony was an added advantage. Service was great.
The location was good and easy to get to by local bus. The is clean and comfortable with nice breakfast. Antoinela, as well as running the place, is very helpful, she gave us directions and informations about the place and where to visit. We enjoyed our stay there.
Great Hotel just 15 minutes bus ride from Manarola town. The staff were great and give us helpful information on getting around Cinque Terre. Do remember to check the bus times to and fro the hotel. Rooms are clean breakfast provided was excellent. Make sure to hike down to Manarola town from the hotel, the views are stunning.
