Hotel Il Sentiero  

Very clean and friendly hotel with a small but charming garden taking the overview of Neapolitano bay.

Everything was beyond our expectations, we had an excellent stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very quiet location, superb views and good food.

Lovely hosts, food and location on the slopes of Vesuvius. Perfect.

Palio and siblings were warm and friendly making our stay very pleasant. Dinner available on site. Quiet and restful. Good way to adjust to local time after overseas travel.

Very modern and clean, fabulous view of the coast. Vesuvius is a 6km drive upwards and pretty much in the backyard of the hotel. We only stayed one night to visit Pompeii and for that purpose the location is excellent.

The road leading to the hotel is in quite bad shape and would be hard to find without gps. There are signs if you keep your eyes sharp on the way up. The breakfast was a little bit poor to be honest, especially since the hotel also is a restaurant. Lots of cats on the property, did not bother us though.

Friendly owners and staff. Beautiful view from terrace; good place to relax. Fabulous grounds for a walk. Excellent food at reasonable price. Proximity to two restaurants. Clean bathroom. On the way to the Vesuvio National Park.

A bit far from all and really hard to find. Would need clearer instructions. Smallish room with little space to store luggage and clothes. My single bed's mattress needed to be changed: one could feel the springs in it. Need to make sure you order dinner the day before or else the cook will not be able to serve you anything. Breakfast lacked protein and choice of foods.

Excellent hotel with fantastic staff (brother and sister owners really friendly) great terrace for dining/drinking with great view and ambiance. Excellent breakfast. Newish building to a really good standard, quiet, relaxed, a world apart from Naples. Trés bon hôtel, avec une vue sur Naples superbe,une terrasse agréable ,chambre calme,trés propre, bien équipée, personnel trés agréable et patient du fait de notre arrivée tardive.

Extremely difficult to find - which is a pain when you are stressed out and lost at 22hr, but is probably the reason that it is so quiet and relaxed. Terrible access road, but easily negoatiated in out rental Panda. The state of the whole road that leads up through the 'national park' is a discrace - with fly tipping, closed down establishments, and more. Very unsettling on arrival, but when you lake it through the hotel's security gates and into its enclosure, everything is safe, and idyllic. So well worth it. Enjoy. Beaucoup de difficultés pour trouver l'hôtel, le panneau n'était pas du tout mis en valeur, puis une petite route en mauvaise état. Un grand soulagement une fois arrivés à l'hôtel.

geweldige ligging, prachtig uitzicht op baai van Napels en op de Vesuvius. Ongelofelijk stil.

ontbijt 8 dagen lang zonder enige variatie. Avondeten was van matige qualiteit, toetje iedere avond hetzelfde en prijs €25 p.p exclusief drinken was gewoon veel te duur. Geen mogelijkheid te lunchen.

L'accueil est sympathique et les gérants sont d'une gentillesse très appréciable. La cuisine maison est très bonne, accompagnée de bon vin de la région. Le cadre est superbe: vue imprenable sur la baie de Naples et tranquillité assurée. Les chambres sont simples mais agréables, assez spacieuses pour 4 (particulièrement la salle de bain) et confortables. Very nice place to stay. The owners are really friendly and hepful. The home-cooked diners were very good, with a good choice of local wine. The hotel is very confortable and very calm and the view on the bay of Napoli is exceptionnal.

Belle vue sur le golfe de Naples depuis la terrasse et le Vésuve depuis le solarium. Hôtel avec seulement 8 chambres et un peu isolé, donc très reposant ! Possibilité de faire des balades à cheval.

Le wi-fi fonctionne très mal dans la chambre au 2e étage. Route d'accès un peu chaotique.

Posto con vista mozzafiato, immerso nella natura. spazio esterno molto bello e curato, gentilezza del proprietari, stanza ottima e bagno pulitissimo. Colazione buona. Da ritornarci volentieri. Consigliato a chi ama la natura e il silenzio

Le calme (l'hôtel est au bout d'un tout petit sentier sur le flanc du Vésuve), le jardin agréable, la vue sur la baie de Naples, la grande chambre. Les enfants ont aimé pouvoir jouer dehors, caresser les chevaux...

Un petit bémol: la difficulté à communiquer avec les propriétaires, qui sont très sympathiques mais ne parlent qu'italien !

Tolle Aussicht auf die Bucht von Neapel. Hotel top sauber, neu und nettes Ambiente.

Zufahrtsstraße ist echt abenteuerlich und nicht leicht zu finden. Hilfreich ist Google Street view, die Kamera fährt bis zur Schranke im oberen Teil des steilen Zufahrtsweges. Zimmer recht eng, Frühstück "italienisch".

Nous avons trouvé la chambre et la salle de bain spacieuses. Les prestations étaient correctes.

L'ambiance était un peu glauque mais l'hôtel était presque vide car hors saison touristique. Nous avons également trouvé le chemin d'accès à l'hôtel assez sale et désolé.

La situation exceptionnelle sur les flancs du Vésuve, avec une vue de toute beauté; le fait de pouvoir dîner sur place même si le repas est un peu cher pour son prix); personnel sympathique

Il faisait froid dans l' hôtel ,pas de couverture sur le lit ,pas de sèche -cheveux dans la salle de bain.repas du soir très médiocre et petit- dejeuner industriel rien de frais .....début mars nous étions les seuls dans l'hôtel de toute évidence l' endroit n' était pas encore vraiment ouvert!!!! ' '

situation idéale pour les amoureux de la nature et de la tranquillité .Vue magnifique sur la baie de Naples de surcroit le soir où les lumiéres rendent la vue magique ! Létablissement est neuf : style moderne merveilleusement bien agencé

Le calme, la situation près du Vésuve, perdu dans la campagne au bout d'une route minuscule. Les bébés chats avec lesquels notre fille a adoré jouer, la chambre confortable et la gentillesse de l'acceuil.

Heerlijk rustig hotel. Personeel is erg vriendelijk. De mannelijke eigenaar kan alleen niet zo goed engels, maar met handen en voetenwerk kom je ver. Hij doet ook z'n best om het te begrijpen. Vlakbij de Vesuvius en mooi uitzicht op zowel Napels als de vulkaan. Mooie kamers. Geweldige plek voor weinig geld. Mis alleen het zwembad ;)

Dat weggetje er naar toe is meerdere malen al benoemd, maar daar is aan te wennen. Weinig goede restaurantjes in de buurt. Als je naar Pompei gaat, niet parkeren en eten bij I Due Cesari restaurant. Ze zijn daar verschrikkelijk onvriendelijk en lichten je op!!! Verderop kan je gratis parkeren bij de supermarkt!!!

Lage: Das Hotel Il Sentiero liegt, wie in vorangegangen Rezessionen bereits zu lesen war, am Fuße des Vesuvs. Das ist ein zweischneidiges Schwert. Wer Erholung sucht und Wert auf Abgeschiedenheit und Natur liegt, wird kaum was finden, dass seinen Ansprüchen mehr gerecht wird. Der Ausblick auf den Golf von Neapel ist sensationell, hinter dem Haus kommt dann nur noch der Versuv. Dafür bezahlt man diese Abgeschiedenheit mit den den langen Anfahrtswegen nach Neapel, Pompei etc. achtung: Sehr schlecht ausgeschildert! Räumlichkeiten: Tolles Hotel, teilweise aus Lavasteinen erbaut, sehr stylisch, gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. sehr sauber, gute Betten. Frühstück: Italienisch süß, reichlich, toller Kaffee Personal: Zwei Geschwister leiten dieses Hotel. Beide sind darauf bedacht, dass keine Wünsche offen bleiben. Hinderlich sind leider manchmal die schlechten Englischkenntnisse, die man von Italienern leider gewohnt ist. Fazit: Wir waren auf Italienrundreise im Il Sentiero. Auch wir waren im Juni die einzigen Gäste. Das fanden wir sehr schade, weil das Hotel aufgrund der vielen tollen Vorzüge reichlich Gäste verdient hätte!

Als Contra: Leider sehr schwer zu finden. Es gibt auf der Straße, von der aus die "Einfahrt" abgeht nur zwei Hinweisschilder. Das erste kommt einige hundert Meter vor der Einmündung, das zweite ist nur von der entgegenkommenden Richtung, also ob man vom Vesuv anreisen würde, zu sehen. Tipp: Vor der Anreise googleearth und Streetview nutzen!

Très bon accueil, magnifique lieu, hyper calme, les gens sont sympathiques. Il faut prévenir le matin si on veut dîner le soir. Très bonne adresse !

Das kleine moderne Hotel liegt am Ende einer schmalen Stichstrasse am Fusse des Vesuv. Wir waren Anfang Mai die einzigen Gäste und wurden von den Besitzern bestens betreut. Vom Garten des Hotels hat man einen herrlichen Bick über die Bucht von Neapel, hinter dem Hotel ist nur der Vesuv. Es ist abbsolut ruhig. Als Ausgangspunkt zur Besichtigung des Vesuv, Pompeji, Herculaneum etc. sehr zu empfehlen.

L'accoglienza, la cortesia dei proprietari, lo splendido panorama, la bellezza della struttura, la tranquillità del luogo, la cucina, la pulizia, l'arredo delle camere e dei bagni, il giardino.

Le calme , la vue exceptionnelle sur la baie de Naples , la gentillesse du personnel , les espaces de jeux pour les enfants , la cuisine raffinée .
