A rustic 19th-century country house, Sole Del Sodo is a 5-minute drive from Cortona. It offers historic stone interiors, plus an outdoor pool with panoramic views of the Tuscan countryside. Apartments come with country-style furniture and feature very characteristic bare-stone walls and wood-beamed ceilings. Each one has a living area with sofa and TV, plus a fully equipped kitchenette and some also have a fireplace. The property’s restaurant opens upon request and serves traditional Tuscan cuisine and wines. Breakfast is available and includes Italian coffee and cappuccino, along with homemade cake. Free services provided on site include parking and Wi-Fi access in public areas. Il Sole Del Sodo is less than half a mile from the SR 71 state road. Liked the fact that we had a comfortable country getaway outside & at the base of Cortona in Italy. We had a rental car and it was nice to stay close to but not in Cortona. Breakfast was fantastic and relaxing with great care catering to a Gluten free diet for my wife. We drove to some other towns near by as day trips from this convenient location. That we only stayed 3 nights. Would like to spend more time in the area sometime.

Comfortable and friendly bed and breakfast. One could not ask for better or friendlier service. Good family atmosphere. This was our second stay. We were welcomed back as old friends. I recommend it highly. No complaints whatsoever.

Ihana B&B / Villa majoitus lähellä Cortonan kaupunkia. Uima-altaalta näkymät aurinkokukkapellolle. Villat (villinit) on restauroitu upeasti ja ne ovat todella tilavia ja siistejä. Ihanan rauhallinen paikka ja pavelu pelaa!

Beautiful surrounds Friendly owner Perhaps a few condiments in the kitchen such as salt and pepper would have been good. Also pool was not in use
