Il Tabacchificio has been carefully restored to preserve its original architecture, which includes vaulted ceilings. Set in Gagliano del Capo, you are just a mile from the coast and a 10 minute drive from Santa Maria di Leuca, the most southern tip of Salento. Il Tabacchificio Hotel is surrounded by beautiful grounds, full of orange and lemon trees, where you will also find the pool with Jacuzzi. There is a relaxation and reading area, and a multimedia conference room. Each room features beautiful paintings of Salento and overlooks either the grounds or the internal courtyard. English: The hotel is placed near Ponte Ciolo and 5 km from the beautiful Santa Maria di Leuca. The staff of the hotel is friendly and ready to help. The owner of the hotel has passion for photograph and therefore the walls and rooms are embellished with delightful photos of Salento. If you do not travel in the car there is a bus service (Salentu in Bus) which connects all main points in Salento. The stop is 10 minutes walking from the hotel. Italian: L'hotel è situato vicino a Ponte Ciolo e a 5 km dalla bellissima Santa Maria di Leuca. Lo staff dell'hotel è amichevole e pronto ad aiutare. Il proprietario dell'hotel e un appassionato di fotografia e quindi le pareti e le camere sono decorate con meravigliose foto di Salento . Se non si viaggi in auto è disponibile un servizio bus (Salentu in bus) che collega tutti I punti principali nel Salento. La fermata è a 10 minuti a piedi dall'hotel.

l'hotel è molto bello e spazioso,estremamente pulito e le persone cordiali e disposte a dare tutte le informazioni necessarie per godere al meglio la vacanza. La posizione è bella se si vuole avere un punto fisso nell'estremo sud e girare sia la parte ionica che quella adriatica.

Un intelligente e prezioso recupero di un edificio industriale dismesso da tempo di cui grandi immagini appese alle pareti, testimoniano I trascorsi. Con classe e gusto, rari in zona, ci si trova accolti in ambienti accoglienti senza essere stucchevolmente "eleganti". Vengono fornite utili informazioni sul territorio, le spiagge e I ristoranti delle zona (nonostante sia possibile pranzare e cenare presso la struttura). Imperdibile la colazione, con solo prodotti del territorio e fatti in casa: torte, biscotti salentini, marmellate, pane fresco, formaggio, frutta, creme brulè ecc. (In altre strutture croissant gommosi e marmellate da discount.....). Davvero una bella sorpresa.

La accoglienza e l'ospitalità è perfetta, si è già coccolati appena arrivati. Per qualsiasi problema sono stati immediatamenti disponibili, il cibo è ottimo, tratto dalla cucina salentina. Le camere pulite e confoetevoli. L'unico neo che ho trovato è la lontananza da dove sto!!! Se no è perfetto!!!!!

English follow: Ce fut une agréable surprise pour nous. Cette vielle usine a été rénovée avec beaucoup de goût pour offrir un hôtel ayant beaucoup de charme. Un édifice de caractère, d'une propreté impeccable, du personnel et une propriétaire attentionnée, un excellent séjour. It has been a beautiful discovery for us. This old factory has been very well renovated and converted to a charming hotel. A great building, very clean, superbe staff and owner, a memorable stay!

Het warme onthaal, bijna familiale sfeer. Voor wie over eigen vervoer beschikt voldoende strandjes en rotskreken in omgeving. Het dichtste was op een half uurtje wandelen.

L'idea che altre soluzioni per un breve soggiorno nell'area potessero essere peggiori. Prima colazione: insufficiente - impossiblile avere caffé se non espresso - frutta scarsa e scadente. Mancanza parcheggio auto. Bagno non funzionale.
