We loved everything about Il Tosco! Special thanks to Elena and Claudi for a wonderful and hospitable stay! We traveled with another couple and had rooms close to each other. Outside our rooms we gathered before bedtime and chatted in a common area. Montepulciano is a wonderful village and our stay at Il Tosco made our visit so memorable. Rooms were well cared for and spotless. Bathrooms had modern amenities and still kept the 16th century charm and decoration. The daily homemade breakfast was definitely a highlight of our stay. We will return again!

    Nothing. Everything was perfect!

I've travelled with my ex-girlfriend, there she became my wife. It's look like real castle from disney movies with hi-tech details in the rooms, eclectic that real rocks! I've travel a lot, booked hotels, but never leave comments. Thats first time I leave some thing, because this place touch my heart, views blow up my mind and service was like in heaven. I realy recomend this place for those who have seen a lot, and want something excellent. You will never disappointed, trust my experience.

Our stay in Tuscany was just amazing, and it was made 100% authentic by Eleni and her Mama and their personal attention to detail. I can't thank them enough for making our stay so, so enjoyable. The historic building that houses Il Tosco is just beautiful, the family have done an amazing job restoring it with fantastic attention given to detail and to maintaining the buildings history and that of previous owners... And the quality fittings and furnishings! Even the bedding is exquisite! Eleni and her Mama make the stay such a personal one with nothing being too much effort. The breakfast and afternoon apertivo, all home made by Mama, is amazing (all traditional foods, but Mama will cook you your eggs on toast if you request it). The location within Montepulciano is brilliant as you are at the beginning of the main road for shopping and a hop and a step away from the piazza grande, and to top it off the views are breathtaking!!

We only had three nights there...

We loved every single moment spent at Il Tosco! Elena was an amazing host - caring, welcoming and extremely helpful with all the tourist hassles/ questions. The house is a historical property and we clearly did feel like we have dived into another time and place there. It is a premium location - close to the center of the beautiful town, just next to the parking and in vicinity to multiple restaurants and bars. Breakfast was amazing - typical tuscan and yummie home made cakes. In case you are wondering what to do, there are plenty of cute little villages around and Elena is an expert in the area

everything was perfect, we were very sorry to leave.

Extraordinary! A gorgeous tiny family-run boutique hotel (only four suites), on one floor of a lovingly restored old mansion house in the heart of the hilltop Tuscan gem, Montepulciano! There's a delightful sitting room, a grand dining room, and a country cucina as a part of the hotel all of which adds to the homely feel of Il Tosca Elena provides the kind of professional yet personal service that you expect in a top end five star luxury hotel, not in a tiny country town B&B. And both B's are outstanding. The bed comfort is superb, the breakfast is elegant, extensive and extraordinary. I can't speak highly enough of this brilliant hotel.

    Leaving.

We were intrigued by charm, character and authenticity of the hotel, having once been the residence of nobility. A true luxury escape with every little touch just perfect.

Everything was excellent and Elena is a star! The attention to the client at "Il Tosco" reaches the top from the moment you step in to the moment you leave.

Everything was perfect. If you really want to find something not perfect probably is the slightly low pressure of the water in the shower. Nothing important at all.

We liked EVERYTHING about Il Tosco. The building is amazing, the rooms are luxurious, and the location is fantastic. Going to Il Tosco is like a dream come true. The breakfast was the best we had anywhere in our travels. Elena was a marvelous host. She arranged several appointments for us before we even arrived. We couldn't have been more pleased. I would live here if I could!

My wife and I stayed at Il Tosco for a few days during our honeymoon, and it was easily the highlight of our trip. Elena went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure we had a perfect stay. Elena provided excellent recommendations for activites, restaurants, and nearby sites. Breakfast and evening appetizers were phenomenal as well. We are already planning a return trip for next year!

We loved everything! The hotel is a beautifully renovated home from the 1500's that makes you feel like you're living in a palace. There are only 4 rooms in the hotel. We were traveling with another couple and we had the two double rooms that were off of their own living room. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable and the bathroom was great too with a wonderful shower and lots of hot water. Elena was helpful and gracious throughout our stay. The food was fantastic. Our free afternoon appetizer ended up being almost a meal with the whole family visiting with us. There were fruits and cookies in the living room, and biscotti and a free bottle of wine in our room. The hotel is very centrally located which is great considering how steep Montepulciano is. Elena also helped us chose great restaurants for lunch and dinner. It was definitely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in and I've stayed in a bunch!

    I liked everything.

This was the biggest surprise on our European adventure. The building was owned by Italian Royals and the history has been conserved for hundreds of years. You feel like royalty and the staff makes everything so perfect. We felt like family from the time that we arrived! Enjoy a once in a lifetime experience!
