The Trulli are wonderful to see during the day and at night they are magical. Plenty of eating options too. We hired a private driver from Bari Airport and were dropped off at the door of our stay in Alberobello. As we had a two night stay - we had time to walk/hike around the countryside close to Alberobello.

The accommodation and location was perfect.
The accommodation and location was perfect.
The downside was that Booking.com advised there was 6 Euro daily parking or 2 Euro per hour however that is not correct. Parking in Alberobello is paid parking only for visitors at 2 Euro per hour between 9am and midnight so daily cost for parking was 30 Euro per day. As we stayed 2 full days it cost us 60 Euro which was not expected. We expected to pay 12 Euro as per booking.com advice.

Alberobello is a magical place of trulli that's easy to navigate. We stayed outside town (in a trulli) but went into town in the evening for dinner and to see the town by night. Dinner was great, but the town is pretty quiet, so don't worry about getting accommodation right in town.

Roberto met us at the door and showed us through the trullo. He was incredibly patient and accommodating even with our limited English. There is so much care and attention to detail here, and the breakfast was beautiful too. They even catered to Coeliac disease! We will recommend this to everyone, and can’t wait to stay here again!

Definitely worth checking out for the uniqueness of the trulli. However, it’s unfortunate that they’ve basically turned the Rione Monti neighbourhood into a kind of circus, with all of the tacky souvenir shops. If visiting, I highly recommend checking out Rione Aia Piccola instead - this is the eastern part of the town where locals are actually living in trulli and there are no souvenir shops. Also, one or two nights is more than enough. If staying longer, consider doing a day trip to Locorotondo or Martina Franca.

Beautiful place with lots of interesting shops and restaurants, the triulli houses are amazing. As Alberobello is a pedestrian town they have parking areas on the outskirts, so parking is not a problem.
Well worth a visit
The host was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. He makes his own wine, which is provided in the room! The location is in the country among vineyards, just a few miles from the village of Alberobello. It is not convenient to stores or restaurants, but if you want to relax in beautiful countryside, it is perfect. The pool is especially welcoming on a hot day. The room was very large and quiet. Breakfast on the patio was more than adequate. Driving through Puglia and Basilicata is a pleasure compared with the larger Italian cities.
This was our favorite stay in Italy so far! The host, Anna Maria, became like family. She was the sweetest person and took time to show us the grounds, explain to us the city, make a scrumptious authentic breakfast. You rarely find a host like this. She is the sweetest. The Trulli was such a remarkable place to sleep in for two nights- very historical. This one in particular was beautifully decorated by the host, comfortable bed, AC, stunning bathroom. It also had a secret garden feeling outside! Was BEAUTIFUL
Everything: Alberobello is in an ideal location nearby Ostuni, Monolopi, Polignano a mare and Matera. The town is extremely charming and the Terrazza sui Trulli is a family owned business in a perfect location. You are right in the center of town. The rooms were wonderful: ideal combination between being in a traditional trullo and having all comforts. I cannot even start describing how rich and delicious was the breakfast. Grazie mille!!!!
We loved the experience of staying in Dimore Barsento. We felt like having a charming home in Italy. The attention and the care with all details were special! Notably, the owner welcomed us super late at night and took us to an open restaurant to have some food, waited and later took us personally to the charming trullo. There, we found several delightful and unexpected treats. Marvelous!
I didn't realise we would be staying in an actual single trullo when booking, it was an amazing experience.
We went out for dinner but the trullo had a kitchen and a dining area if we wanted to stay in.
The location, the host and breakfast were great.
We loved Alberobello! I would definitely recommend both a visit to the town and staying at Trulli e Puglia Resort.
It was a really nice experience to sleep in a traditional Trulli house. The staff members of the Tipico Resort were super friendly and gave us useful tips for sightseeing in- and outside of Alberobello. We also tried one of the recommended restaurants, but you have to reservate to get a table.
Parking nearby the centre costs about 6€ a day, so thats okay.
The room was absolutely cozy romantic and beautiful! The shower was big which wasn't easy to find in Italy. Nice location and easy walking distance from the downtown area of Areobello. Plenty of channels if you like to watch TV, nice stove and fridge and a little coffee pot. Couldn't ask for a better room! The design of this room was just amazing!
The host Angelo was very friendly and helpful before our arrival and throughout our stay. The trulli is well equipped (coffee maker and complimentary coffee are there) and close to the centre. There is a possibility of breakfast delivery (included in the price) which we selected and we had the best croissant/cornetti of our stay in Italy.
Truly (trulli) unique experience! Took my parents here during our south of italy roadtrip and this stay is the most memorable. Very clean, well put together place in a real Trulli. Bed room was super comfortable - I had one of best night of sleep in the trulli room. Owner was warm and helpful. Highly recommend!
what a lovely property .. the staff are amazing !! from breakfast to dinner !!.. friendly .. offering tips of where to go .. the food is excellent along with their wine .,… the best I’ve had in Italy .. and I’ve now been here over two weeks !! so trust me I’ve sampled ALOT of wine 😂
The property was amazing, so authentic and beautiful. We were so comfortable and had the best nights sleep. The host was lovely and really friendly and recommended us places to eat. I am currently travelling Italy and this is the best place I have stayed so far.
Location, location, location!!! The home was clean with everything we needed to cook dinner and were close to Matera. We had extra soap, toilet paper, towels, air conditioning, in a unique trulli home in Alberobello, Italy. Excellent place to stay!
Very nice and comfortable trulli houses and adjacent swimming pool for having a truly remarkable holiday in Puglia.
Ideal location as Alberobello is less than a 10 minute drive. We felt very safe, as the whole compound was fenced off.
The host was very kind and welcoming.
The place is really calm and relaxing. It's great being surrounded by olive trees.
Everything needed to cook or have a meal is in the trullo.
The bed is more confortable than usual in Italy.
Everything from the welcome to the goodbye it was the most wonderful place in Italy we stayed. Loved the rustic rural location great facilities warm showers soft beds and towels and the cows and pigs in the fields
Really nice hotel, the staff were great, the location was perfect- the process to park my car was easy (as compared to other hotels we dealt with on our vacation in Italy!) I totally recommend this place
Friendly staff, nice pool and a good breakfast with fruits. Nice location , 5 blocks from the trullis and close to restaurants.
free parking in front of the hotel and very quiet area
