As the owner only really talks Italian this might be difficult for some international guests. However, with my rudimentary knowledge of Italian (4 years at school) we were absolutely fine. Our bed was a bit squeaky but very comfortable.
I can really recommend the place. Me and my girlfriend stayed for 4 nights and found the place excellent. Very welcoming lady that owns the place. She was a great host. Big room, excellent breakfast (fresh fruit, cheeses, hams, homemade cakes, croissants bread, muesli, yogurts etc). We had a big room and bathroom (very clean and cleaned daily) and even a terrace with table and chairs to drink a glass of wine in the evening. The place has a few animals around such as chicken and a hairy pig. Also there are 2 great restaurants close by (La taverna dei golosi and Pizzaria del Borgo Antico) and with a rental car you get a good impression of the surrounding area of Cinque Terre. It also doesn't feel touristic at all compared to the 5 towns there and is very quiet as compared to bigger towns like La Spezia.
