The only negative is the noise. You have not only some street noise but also noise from the reception. I was in room 1 (right next to reception) and you could hear every word. Reception closes at 8pm so that noise is not a problem at sleep time. The street noise is worst on Friday and Saturday nights. Maybe an investment in double glazing may improve things. It shouldn't stop you from coming, just be aware of it especially if you are a light sleeper.
A minor annoyance was the WiFi only worked in certain sections of the room and could drop the connection at times.
This B&B is superbly located to explore Herculaneum & Mt Vesuvius, Amalfi/Positano/Sorrento, Pompeii, Naples, Capri and of course Salerno. The B&B is about a 20 minute walk from the train station (straight down the main street) - also where you catch the Sita bus to Amalfi, 10 minutes from the Ferry to Capri, 2 minutes from the waterfront and amongst lots of restaurants. Beware that Google does show the B&B in slightly the wrong place but it's not far off.
The room was secure, spacious, very clean and well presented. The room included a flat screen tv (not that it was used) as well as free wifi.
A basic breakfast is provided (from a set menu) and served in your room.
The staff were excellent. Hernani (Nani for short) in the mornings and Annapoala in the evenings were both fantastic. Both always friendly and always helpful.
