E' vicino alla fermata dell'autobus che va in centro e alla stazione del treno per l'aereoporto

Avevo prenotato una camera doppia con due lettini e mi sono ritrovata in una camera per una persona con due lettini attaccati e uno di questi attaccato al muro per un lato. Scomodissimo scendere durante la notte per andare in bagno

Camera carina, silenziosa e pulita. Personale cortese. L'hotel è vicino alla stazione trastevere e alla fermata del tram n° 8 con cui è possibile raggiungere il centro in breve tempo. Sicuramente consigliato per gruppo di amici in visita alla bellissima città di Roma.

Posizione buona visto che scendi le scalette e sei di fronte la stazione di trastevere, un pò meno se si vuole raggiungere zona movida per la quale c'è da camminare per almeno 15 minuti altrimenti bisogna prendere il tram

Doccia che non funzionava bene, climatizzatore guasto sostituito con una stufetta elettrica che forse non riscaldava a sufficienza, coperte del letto troppo leggere per essere inverno, isolamento acustico scarso, si sentivano tutti I movimenti delle persone nelle stanze vicine.

L'insonorizzazione delle camere che non consentono la privacy. Ho come l'impressione che la suddivisione delle stanze sia stata fatta con il cortongesso

Pulito,tranquillo, comodo, buono.

Il coordinamento con Villa Rosa, per chi deve muoversi presto al mattino, crea causa scomodità per il consumo della colazione.

Mi è piaciuto il prezzo e la vicinanza alla stazione fs di Trastevere nonchè al Filobus che porta a trastevere I due fermate. Inoltre la colazione non era male.

La mia camera era un po carente di finestre essendo sotto il piano terra

Nice room, which was cleaned every day. Simple breakfast, but still good and cheap. If you are lucky, you can use the wireless internet in your room, otherwise must go to the living room. There is a train station few hundreds of meters from the hotel, which has a train that goes straight to the vatican (5 min) and to the FCO airport as well (40min).

There was no Fridge in the room, and even though the train station and bus stop were close to the hotel, it tooked about 45 min to go downtown by bus. (the public transport in Rome sucks).

+The staff was really helpful and nice. +Rooms were always top clean. +Location was good next to tram stops and getting from the airport to hotel was easy: Trastevere train station was only 5 min walk away from the hotel.

The hotel is located in a nice area of Rome, across the Tiber river (Trastevere). The location is quiet and beautiful (small, old houses with a lot of vegetation and flowers, going up some hills in a network of curly streets). The staff was extremely friendful and helpful, breakfast menu was the same every day, but very tasty. The room was clean, but with a distinctive smell that was accumulating over the day if the windows were closed. From the hotel, you can reach the city center in about 15 minutes (or the main railway station Termini in 40 minutes) using bus H. You can also get to the Argentina square using tram 8. And there's a train taking you directly to Termini, but we didn't try it. Bus tickets cost 1.5 euro for 100 minutes, you can change any bus, tram or underground during this period, which makes it in some cases more convenient than the 6 euro daily ticket. If you don't have heavy luggage to carry and don't mind climbing some stairs, the trick to getting directly to the hotel is not getting off bus H at the Stazione Trastevere, as their website advices, but at the next station (after the bus and main road turn right) and take the stairway up on the right side of the main road. The stairs lead directly to hotel Villa Rosa, on Via Giovanni Prati no. 1, the big brother of Il Villino, where the reception for both hotels is. From there, it's very easy to reach the hotel, by walking 200m down Via Nicolò Tommaseo. Room price was excellent (90 euro / day for a quadruple room) and given the nice location and the short distance to the center I would say the hotel is a great value for money.

A slight smell of the room required us to air it plentily every time we got back to it. The AC-based heating system did not work, so we had to use the extra blanket one night. The internet worked fine in the public room just near the hotel entrance, but was totally absent in the room.

The building itself is a lovely converted multi story Roman villa with an elegant feel. It is only a few minutes' walk from both Trastevere station and its cheap rail connections to both Fiumicino and Civitavecchia. Even closer is the stop for Tram 8 that takes you into the heart of Rome.

The hotel is in a beautiful, quiet neighbourhood overlooking Trastevere station. But it is most definitely an uphill climb, so a taxi is recommended for arrivals with luggage. The general area below the hotel, around the station is sketchy and extreme caution should be exercised at night. The room's a/c heater unit had a broken thermostat and no one came to fix it, as requested. The radiator heat had already been turned off for the season but unfortunately it was unseasonably cold during our stay. As there was a heated towel rack and a bar fridge giving off quite a bit of heat, we kept certain doors open to provide a bit of warmth! The WIFI only works well in the common area, admittedly a very comfortable place with a sofa and desk. During our 5 day stay, the tea and coffee stations in our room and the common area were not adequately replenished. Even though our booking confirmation stated that a double room had been booked, the hotel insisted on my paying a 15 euro per night supplement for the second person in our party, my 13 year old son. Breakfast was not included. In defending their action(s), the hotel flat out misled booking.com by claiming that we had only been charged the supplement for 2 out of 5 nights. I stay often in Rome and I found this hotel's policies to be quite atypical.

Our rooms were spacious and quiet. The coffee/tea making facilities and vending machines were appreciated. The beds were comfortable. A five minute walk to the tram and ten minutes into the city centre. The Il Villina is a lovely villa and we enjoyed a relaxing five nights in quiet, but close to the centre.

A slight sewage smell in the room. Not a good hotel for people who don't want a steep stairs climb each day to get to the tram. Breakfast is at the main hotel so you have to go out of the villa to eat.

Take care not to book the cellar rooms! There is a horrible smell of waste water and/or mildew. they obviously didn't ventilate the cellar room(s). This was even scarcely possible: there was only a emergency door with a little barricaded window, which was blocked (!) and a small window in the upper half of one wall. If you are claustrophobic: don't book! WiFi didn't work in the room.

Breakfast is excellent, very comfortable room, bathroom and furniture are "italian" in terms of design. Staff was friendly and helpfull. The area in which the hotel is situated is beautifull and quiet.
