Fantastic location. All staff were excellent and we loved the meal we had and also the wine tasting

Lovely hotel, quiet and with well spaced out chalet-like rooms and a great in-house restaurant serving a varied dinner menu daily. Lots of parking space and friendly helpful staff. The breakfast spread is also splendid with lots of fresh fruits and breads and cakes. The hotel serves one of the best Fiorentine steaks we've eaten in Italy!

It was an awe inspiring stay at the medieval hotel. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The view from the pool side was fantastic. The atmosphere was warm and the grounds very authentic to the medieval period. We would go back there in a heart beat. The location was central to excursions to many attractions including San Gimignano ;and Florence. The local villages such as Rada, were among the favourites day adventures. The wine and food at Il Borgo were the best of Chianti.

The location was beautiful with the different buildings giving it a flavor of thirteenth century Italy. The rooms were large. The food was excellent with a fabulous waitstaff. We also enjoyed the wine tasting that was included.

The air conditioning unit was too noisy. The queen bed was really two single mattresses pushed together on a single bed frame.

Everything it was excellent!!! Good food , amasing amplasment! The wine was one of the top from toscana. 10 points for the very friendly personal of the hotel!!!

Beautiful location in the Tuscan countryside, close to small towns of Castellina and Radda, and 30 mins or so from Siena, and hour from Florence. Be prepared for a winding, hilly drive, but it's worth it. Views from the pool across the hills and forests, and close to various vinyards. Staff very nice, all very well looked after, rooms spacious and cleaned daily (Deluxe Double has plenty of space including easy chair, tables etc), air con great and each room has some sort of outside seating area. Quite private due to lay out of the rooms being the old properties, very well restored. Pool area lovely, plenty of beds, umbrellas, and covered areas. Pool very clean and furniture in good condition. Gardens and plants well kept. Breakfasts v good, plenty of choice. Dinner ok - maybe not quite as lovely as expected but still a good option for a night if don't want to drive into the nearby towns, and in July was taken outside on the covered terrace. All in all a good option - we got b&b 4 nights for 540 euros, which for everything we had was good value and good standard.

Slightly tricky to find at first, but if you leave Castellina and head towards Radda you'll see it - it's well signposted on the road once you reach it, but you might think you haven't gone far enough at first (our sat nav couldn't locate it specifically).

la sua posizione e la cura delle strutture

El Borgo di Vescine es una villa toscana, para mi gusto quizás muy metida dentro del valle del Chianti. Imaginaba que estuviera rodeada de viñedos, pero era más bien monte lo que rodeaba a la villa. El trato con el personal fue excelente, la cena y el desayuno fueron muy buenos! La habitación correcta, sin grandes lujos.

Igazi Toscanai hangulat,luxussal keverve gyönyörű környezetben.

bellissimo borgo situato nel cuore del chianti, molto esclusivo. servizio eccezionale, grande staff professionale. l'ospite è "coccolato".

menù ristorante un po' scarso di scelta.

Charmant, rustig gelegen oud dorpje, omgevormd tot hotel! Prachtig uitzicht! WIFI overal zelfs aan het zwembad. Lekker eten. Airco in alle kamers en broodnodig op hete zomerdagen. Hartelijk onthaal in prima Engels en zelfs Nederlands (1pers.) Goede uitvalsbasis voor een eerste verkenning van Toscane.

Derde bed in kamer kon beter, was niet comfortabel. Bij volgeboekt hotel, iets te weinig plaats aan het zwembad.

מיקום מצוין ונגיש למקומות רבים בטוסקנה. המקום מעוצב ומאוד נוח גם לשהיה ארוכה. היין המיוצר ביקב המשפחתי מצויין ונהנינו מאוד מהדרכה מקומית במלון וסיור ביקב עצמו. ארוחת הבוקר מפנקת והארוחות הנוספות המוצעות טובות מאוד. הצוות היה מקצועי ותומך, במיוחד ג'וזפה...

החדר היה מעט קטן וזמינות אינטרנט רק במרחב המשותף

Sehr schöne Anlage in einem ursprünglichen Dorf aus dem 13. Jahrhundert. Zimmer daher sehr individuell, rustikal und gemütlich, aber gut ausgestattet. Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr ruhige Lage, abseits der Ortschaften in den Weinbergen.

op en top efficiëntie, discretie en spontane vriendelijkheid. perfect gerestaureerd middeleeuws gehucht in zeer verzorgd hotel. Heerlijk ontbijtbuffet. zeer rustige omgeving.

Wunderbare Natur, traumhaftschoene Lage im Chianti, individuelle und regionstypische Unterbringung. Hier kann man sich wirklich erholen vom Alltag!

La tipologia della struttura (piccolo borgo)molto ben ristrutturata,la posizione,la tranquillità

Die Hoteleinrichtung ist sehr ringhörig. Die Raumpflegerinnen beginnen ziemlich früh morgens und unüberhörbar mit der Verrichtung ihrer Arbeit...

Mi è piaciuto sicuramente il contesto e la bellezza e l'attenzione al paesaggio. Luogo ideale per trovare un soggiorno in pace e tranquillità.

Per essere un hotel 4 stelle la rubinetteria dei servizi delle camere era un pò vetusta e mal funzionante.

Ligger underbart mitt i Toscanas landsbygd. Hotellområdet är jättemysigt och vi hade en bra och god vinprovning av deras lokala Chianti classic. Genomgående bra service. Pollen ligger fint uppe på kullen med underbar utsikt

Tycker inte om att de har filt i sängen, fixa påslakan el liknande.

Belligenheten var fantastisk i forhold til å reise rundt med bil i Chianti området. Det var korte kjøreturer til mange hyggelige små byer med gode resturanter, nydlige steder for vinsmaking og vakker natur. Stille og fredelig. Hotellet var hyggelig med rom i flere forskjellige byggninger - dessverre fikk vi tildelt et rom med få vinduer og ingen utsikt. Rommet virket derfor mørkt, selv om størrelsen var grei. Badet var fint og godt utstyrt. Bassengområdet lå fint til med nydelig utsikt over området - og selvbetjening av drikkevarer. Resturanten på hotellet lå i øverste sjiktet prismessig i forhold til kvalitet. Betjeningen var flinke til å anbefale gode resturanter i de nærliggende byene.

Betjeningen klarte ikke å fremskaffe ny hårføner når denne gikk i stykker.
