The location was good. There are some great resturants, geletaria, bar, fruit stand, grocery store, and bancomats near by along with easy access to the bus system to get around rome. You are looking at about 30 minutes to get to downtown Rome. The receptionist was helpful giving us directions looking up train times for our trip to Naples. We got a free upgrade into a larger room with a bathroom (we booked the attic). There was an outdoor, permanent carnival park nearby for kids that was great as well. Hotel was old and moldy. It is need of repair. Cheap cost was good, but not worth the cleanliness issue. Breakfast was not very good. |

the breakfast was amazing! so was the coffee. I really enjoyed it, there was pelnty to eat and the coffee was perfect. it's in a terribile neighborhood, staff did not provide acurate directions to different parts of the city, and it was not as close to major attractions as it had advertized. |

The staff were pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was adequate. There was a local restaurant which luckily was good.If you wish to stay in that part of Rome then the hotel is convenient for bus services. The room we were allocated was at the top of a "castle tower" which was very quaint but impractical. The stairs were tortuous there was no alternative fire escape, the windows were "arrow slits" so the room was dark. The heating was irregular so that overall it was an uncomfortable experience during a particularly cold period. |

The staff is great, willing to help answer any questions. Quick to check you in and help you with directions to 'main city sites'. Entire staff makes you feel like family. The room was very comfortable, exactly what is needed for a leisure trip at an excellent price. Public transportion - extremely close. Residential area surroundings, feels very safe. Ladies cleaned room daily. |

The hotel was located along a quiet street. It does not stand out prominently, but is not really that difficult to find using the address they posted in the internet. Luigi, the owner/manager/receptionist was very helpful even in locating our lost luggage and in giving directions on getting around. The free wireless internet came in handy. Their capuccino was excellent! Good value for money. The person at the reception was nice and friendly, but could hardly speak English. Breakfast was always served late, making it difficult to start your day early. Some furniture in the room were buckling down. |

sure not a 5 star, but the facilities for the price I got was incredible! In a small "backyard" street, so not too noicy. No bar in the neighbourhood for a nightbeer, but they have a drinkmachine, incl beer ;) From the Terminus station to the hotel with taxi can be too expensive. I was lucky and for fix price of Euro 20,00 they brought me late in the evening to the hotel. I can imagine that during day when there is lot of traffick, it can take an hour. So, inform yourself good, and read the instructions on your voucher, and take the metro or bus! |

price was excellent, friendly english speaking staff, room was changed without problems when heating not functioned, all-you-can-eat breakfast is excellent, luggage was kept free of charge after checkout, free city maps double bed is actually 2 beds pushed together, internet point or wifi not working, small and quite noisy room on the street side(201), GPS said it was 2.5 km on foot (instead of the "less than 1 km" advertised) away from Cornelia metro station, 45 minutes by bus H from Termini on non-working days, no receipt was written automatically when paid in cash |

Our digital camera was left in the taxi that took us to the airport the day we left for USA. When we were able to make a phone call from the airport to the hotel, this hotel make the extra effort to contact the taxi company and help track down the camera - we think they found it, but even of they didn't, we appreciated the effort. Excellent restruant nearby with a nice English speaking waiter. Would have liked at least one English speaking TV channel. |
