The staff were very friendly and happy to help - and the breakfasts every morning were lovely. There was a nice little vanity kit in the bathroom and I really enjoyed my time there. It was set in a lovely environment. I would absolutely stay there again and recommend it.
The price was very good since it was the off season. The staff was friendly and helpful. One of the best things was free parking in an area where parking is hard to find at any price.
As I said it was off season. Some of the facilities were not available due to this.I read some reviews about the distance to town. It is a 15-20 minute walk depending on speed, but not overwhelming. The closer you get to the hotel, the narrower the sidewalk becomes. If you plan ahead and cross accordingly, it isn't really that bad.
Everything was well done. Staff very welcoming and helpful.
We found the dining room a little crowded. Food was excellent.
The staff were great, very helpful and friendly and breakfast was terrific and a great place to stay.
WiFi wasn't too good, couldn't access it some days. I would also recommend using their login, rather than your FB, Yahoo, etc, account as I had trouble with my Yahoo a/c after using it and had to reset it. If you use their auto-generated login, should not be a problem.
The staff were very gracious and friendly. They were able to speak English which helped a great deal. An excellent breakfast was served in the morning. The address was a bit deceiving at first but this hotel is located off the very busy Corsi Italia. The security was very good and one felt quite safe here.
If you walk into town, the main road is very busy so one has to watch very carefully when crossing the road. The sidewalk for pedestrians is extremely narrow.
the staff is very kind and friendly, they cared very much for the small detales. with private parking and 15 minutes walking to the center we recomend it very much. the breakfast was fresh and rich.
vacation was not long anough! :)
Owners very helpful, place well-run. Excellent value. Lovely breakfast in the garden with freshly-squeezed orange juice.
Staff was great, room was spacious, and breakfast was excellent.
It is located a bit off the main drag from Sorrento's downtown.
I do a lot of walking and found quite a few interesting things to see within a reasonable distance. The room was large, although i was on my own.
My room was by the office so there was a lot of noise from people walking by.
Staying with the folks at IL Roseto is like staying with family. We had the garden apartment for three days and it was lovely. Breakfast was awesome and provided a great start to the day. The owners arranged a tour with guide of Pompeii and Herculaneum for us that was absolutely wonderful. The residence is a reasonable walk to old town Sorrento with its many shops and fine dining so you can park at the residence and just leave the car. The train is also just a short walk away if you want to train into Naples. Bottom line, we loved our stay at I'll Roseto.
Although located near a busy road it is surprisingly quiet. It is a lovely green haven in the middle of a noisy town. Great pool, spacious family room and fantastic breakfast. We have visited many Hotels and B&B in Italy, and here breakfast was simply the best (fresh orange juice, lovely freshly brewed coffee and a choice of sweet pastries but also NORMAL bread). Very friendly staff. 15 minutes walking distance to centre.
No power of water in shower. Not possible to wash long hair.
Breakfast is served in the garden - so simple trick makes eating realy nice routine ;-)
We had a very enjoyable stay for 4 nights. Our room was on the ground floor, very spacious, clean, and great view of the garden/patio. Breakfast was excellent, fresh orange juice, coffee to order, and several choices of cereals, fruit, meat, cheese, etc. We had great weather, so breakfast was served outdoors.
The location is a little out of town, about 20-30 min walk, depending on how fast you walk. The problem we had, walking to town, was the streets are narrow with narrow or very little sidewalks, and can be very busy. We are older, but in good physical conditions; however, we decided to use taxis to and from the B & B. Maybe 10-15 yrs. ago, we would have walked.
Lovely place to stay
Busy road on the walk down to Sorrento.
The junior suite we had was big and well equipped with fridge and cooking equipment (didn't use them though. And my father's room in the garden seemed very modern and a good use of space. The pool was lovely to swim in after a long day of sightseeing - had it pretty much to ourselves
the room could be a bit cold at times (very high ceilings) and also a bit dark.
Good secure parking, easy access, good sized room looking onto the garden and a warm welcome
Location Breakfasts under the vines and citrus trees Lovely clean pool Helpful staff
The staff were top notch - very accommodating and polite. Everything was very clean and tidy. The location of the room and the pool were far enough off the busy street to provide a quiet environment.
The amazing swimming pool and bar area. Quiet location even though next to main road. Breakfast outside. Helpful staff Great food Free wifi Safe in room. Air con
20 minute walk out of Sorrento. Limited breakfast selection (very basic continental) No english speaking tv channels.
The pool when we got back from a day out to unwine
Nothing everything was great
location, facilities, staff, most of all the garden and its tranquility. This place is simply beautiful, the garden and the pool are fantastic. I love swimming in the sea but the pool is so nice that I never bothered. It is just over 10min to walk into town if you walk at reasonable speed. The pavement disappears for a bit but as drivers are not aggressive, this really is no problem. There is a train station in S Agnello and Sorrento. Il Roseto sits between both, possibly a bit closer to S Agnello. Having a soft spot for Sorrento, we always went there, but there are good and cheaper places to eat in S Agnello and also on the road to Sorrento. We had amazing pizza and tomato salad in a little plastic plate kind of place along the road. Il Roseto has a snack bar at the pool which has a very extensive menu. Drinks and food are very reasonably priced. As Sorrento is so busy, we often preferred having lunch and a drink by the pool rather than in town. The garden is stunning and very tranquil. breakfast is served in the garden and is brilliant. Staff are lovely. Not all rooms have stunning views but I don't think that matters given that the garden and pool are so nice. There is a garden suite which looks stunning and sits right by the garden.

Naples Trains buses
Pool was ok but a distance from the rooms
Situation so near to such a busy road and away from centre. A taxi to the bus station was 35eur a journeyof 1 1/2 kms , when it had cost 80eur from Naples to the hotel! Nearest food shop a good distance away.
Pool area The garden
