Residence il Sogno - Rooms & Apartments  

Everything! We sent a note via Booking.com when we booked regarding special dietary requirements. They were brilliant! We had gluten-free crackers and gluten-free bread, plud GF sweet biscuits, also soya milk and gluten-free cornflakes specially provided! The service was excellent and the room ideal with a good-sized fridge and well- equipped kitchen area with 2 hobs plus kettle and microwave. We like the layout and furnishings. We would stay here again.

We where a group of 7 women and we liked everything at the hotel and the service. I hope we can come back some day. Thank you for a wonderful time.

The staff were so friendly and made us very welcome.The breakfast was lovely and plenty of choice. Was in a lovely area and close to a good supermarket would love to go back and stay again!!!!

We booked a two bedroom appartment and received a very spacious appartment on the forth and last floor with fully equipped kitchen, open view and a large balcony which includes a dining area. The appartment was simply incredible. Staff was very friendly and helpfull in every aspect and we felt free to ask for every piece of tourist information regarding the garda area. They even kept a box of chocolate we forgot in the room until we were back in the area.

The beds are noisy & not comfortable enough as expected from such a hotel. But overall good hotel and value for money.

The facility and furtniture was old and need refreshment. the bed (old spring matress) was awful. poor breakfast (not as expected in a 4 stars hotel)

It was convenient--not too far from the train station and very close to the ferry stop on the lake. There were 2 couples and the 2 bedroom 2 bath unit was perfect for us. Although they said they didn't do daily cleaning unless you paid extra, they did come in and make the beds and such. Our apartment had its own garden with a table set up out there. It was beautiful.

Convenient for the lake and to ferries. Quieter town than sermonette , or Garda.

Couldn't speak highly enough of the staff, apartment was huge, beautiful, great location and super value for money! Defo come back if we can!

What a great hotel. The man on reception gave us so much information without us having to ask. The breakfast was superb and coffee and brioche was available free of charge in the afternoon. We even got a free bottle of bubbly in the room as there was fireworks on the lake at night. Very well equipped room and I would definitely stay here again. Great location too.

Hotel is on a side street in Desenzano but within five to ten minutes walk from the centre of the town and the station. Access was easy with good underground parking. Despite being close to the town there was little noise. The apartment we stayed in was comfortable and spacious and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, sorting out any issues we had swiftly and effectively.

For a hotel in a town center space for many facilities was always going to be at a premium, for instance the pool is fairly small and only had loungers close to the pool edge.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Residence il Sogno is a perfect place to stay at Lake Garda. The hotel is clean - spotless, comfortable, beautifully decorated and simply a pleasure. The staff are perfect - helpful, welcoming, polite and lovely people. We travellled with older and younger children - 14, 12 and two 5 year olds - and found the hotel to be perfect for our needs. The position is great for walking into town and getting to the railway station and is a two minute walk from the local supermarket which was very helpful for popping out to buy supplies to keep everyone fed without dining out all the time! Desenzano is a great base for getting the train to Gardaland, Movie Land and the Aqua park as well as getting to Verona and Venice with ease. We were also just a few minutes walk from the Ferry which we took across the lake. Upon returning from a day out it was a pleasure to be able to help ourselves to hot or cold drinks in the dining room. Highly recomend this hotel.

We stayed here for a week in early July. A short walk to Desenzano town centre. Comfortable clean air conditioned apartment. ( # 207)Pool small but clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Large supermarket close by. Would stay here again

The location was excellent. The room was basic but comfortable and clean. The staff were lovely - very helpful, particularly Salvatore. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to other travlellers.

when we checked in, the gentleman at the font desk was very nice. the apt was clean. it would be a good place for a big family

the price seemed very high for the features and quality. it was a very warm weekend and the airconditioner could not be set below 25C - too warm for us. beds and furnishings seemed very worn.

The staff were always friendly and obliging. We could make ourselves a cup of tea or coffee any time of the day which was great when we'd been out and come home for a while to rest before going out for tea. The grounds were always kept clean and free from rubbish (even leaves) and even though we were prepared to walk to the train station (which was not all that far away) we were offered a lift when we left.
