Located opposite the Palazzo delle Esposizioni exhibition centre, Hotel Boutique Nazionale offers modern rooms with flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. It is 5 minutes' walk from Repubblica Metro Station....

Hotel Bolivar is in a historic building of the 19th century, a 10 minute walk from both Trevi Fountain and the Coliseum. Breakfast buffet is served in a panoramic breakfast room.
Score from 572 reviews Good
In the heart of one of Rome's most characteristic neighborhoods, Monti Apartments are all around a 10-minute walk from the Colosseum. The modern apartments include a terrace or balcony.
Score from 189 reviews Very good
Rome as you feel - Navona Apartments has luxurious accommodations with kitchen facilities and is in the historic center of Rome. All apartments are in different buildings around Piazza Navona square.
Score from 400 reviews Very good
The view of the Colosseum from our room was wonderful. The staff were very helpful with our cases on arrival and departure. The room was beautiful and very spacious. WIFI signal was super and the drinks for sale in the fridge were all very reasonably priced.
I was sad that there was no kettle in the room so I couldn't make myself a cup of tea. It really would've made all the difference to our weeks stay.
Proximity to bars, restaurants, and coliseum, comfortable room
Wifi works sometimes and had to leave key with staff if you leave room. They said they would always have someone there, but I waited two times for someone to show and left with my key anyway. Wasn't about to get stuck coming back at 2am and they don't answer the buzzer...
Fantastic location excellent staff very helpful in helping me with enquiries and request for flowers etc for fiancees birthday
Some people may need to be aware of the immediate gay area and rooms however may I add that this caused no issues and the area was very lively and friendly for all people.
Location was great and the spa bath lovely. Decor quite cool.
Wifi kept dropping out in room. Shower head fell off!! Air conditioning didn't work properly. Got down to 24c when it rained - too hot.
The location is great, although some reviews had complained about the bars below, you cannot hear a thing from them. Clean, bright rooms.
The bathroom was down a small corridor, not great. The rooms were smaller than the pictures made them look.
The location.is great as it is right opposite to the colosseum.
The staff is rude and the penny family/ staff tried to get extra money out of.me and did not give the room they showed earlier. Basically it was uncomfortable dealing with them.
The location and friendliness of the staff.
I have requested a quiet room, but was allocated in a very small, noisy room overlooking the street. Underneath there were few bars, open till late and you could here music and noise till early hours.Value for money was really bad for that type of room to be honest. The bed duvet was not very clean either and you could feel smell of smoke in the room.
location is very accessible
wifi is very poor we hardly can get signal if our door is closed
Perfect location! Staff very kind and helpful
Location to colleseum
On top of a noisy bar that spills out onto the street till 2am. No sleep and hard beds
Great location right next to the colosseum!
Short lasting breakfast until 9:30AM. Never got the chance to see it! There's no basic hair/body products, you should bring yours (hair dryer included! The one attached is super slow)
It's crazy amazing to sleep in the corner of Colosseum. I would like to recommend to everyone especially for position. Room is nice and warm, even if not big they tried everything to do it enjoyable.
Excellent position, really beside Colosseo
Everything else: dirty and scaring entrance, rooms far from advertised, price out of any logic for a place of this level.
Excellent location, hotel is all you want for short stay
value for money. very close to colosseo and the metro sation
Excellent double glazing for cutting out city noise completely.
The location was great, just next to the Coliseum. The view was spectacular. There were plently of outside cafes in the area. The spa bath felt good after a long day. The staff at the reception desk were very helpful.
No lift. Had to walk three flights of stairs.
The friendly staffs and their manager Mr Vincent.
The electricity that got cut off a few times at night. Poor wifi reception at the rooms
Fabulous location, right next to the Colloseum and five minutes walk from the Metro
Water didn't drain too well in the shower so the tray got full quickly and spillt over TV didn't work Very few clothes hangers From about 6pm a crowd of young people would gather every evening over the road and were very noisy all through the night
Walls are paper thin, so everything you say can be heard in the next room, its a long climb if your older, each floor seems to be a different hotel. Room is very small, ac not that great ie 49C most of the time, and breakfast not worth a bound of salt.
Within 100 yards of the Colosseum
Parking was a tad tricky...but what do you expect in central Rome!
- The location is very convenient, 2 minutes from Colosseum Metro, 2 seconds from the actual colosseum - Very lively area, with lots of small restaurants, small supermarket, tabac shops, etc - Staff was friendly and the hotel was safe, with 24h reception and locked floor doors - The staff helped us with the luggage up the stairs (3rd floor no elevator) - Good internet reception without the annoying log-in page - We were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and comfort of the bathroom - including a surprise jacuzzi !!! (they should mention that on booking.com as well) - The room (#7) was very new and spotless clean - The balcony was small but very quiet, breezy and had a view of some traditional Rome apartments
- No elevator and the hotel is 3 stories high - Breakfast hours are very short (7:30 - 9:30). If you're on a tight schedule you might have to skip breakfast because of the hours. We can't comment on the actual breakfast, because we missed it on both days (one got up late, once had to leave early)
