Staff were friendly and the rooms were basic but pretty clean
It's on the 5th floor of a very poorly maintained building and difficult to find
Esquisite personnel, perfect location, friendly treatment and easy price. Live your journey like you ever lived in Rome! Really recommended... One of easiest and best choices in Rome!
Good size room and very clean.
Incredible staff, very knowledgeable and can't do enough for you. Immaculate rooms and very clean facilities. Fantastic location, perfect for short city break.
Wifi didn't work for the first couple of nights
Good location, recently renovated and very clean. Damian was an excellent host.
The room was clean and the staff was courteous otherwise
We had booked for a double room for 3 nights (May 3-5, 2014) and we had got the confirmation from Mr. Damien Hotel manager befor hand and told him about our arrival time at 7 Pm. However, when the room was shown to us we were shocked to see that it was a very small room almost half the size of the room we had booked. When we told that to Mr damien, he mentioend that the hotel was full and he will shift us to another room tomorrow once the other guest leaves. We do not understand how the regular room that we had booked was given to someone else and we were charged full rate for a much smaller room. Later we saw that this was not a hotel room for guests at all and "Private" was written on it. This was certainly for the staff to sleep overnight and not for guests. When we asked the manager that this is not done, he apologized but upon asking that the rate has to be reduced to half or by 70% as the room is not the one we asked for, he refused and said that the rate is the same. This is nothing but cheating. what these Hotel people do is to chest people like that every night as they ahve few rooms like that and charge full rate from new customers and give tehm beigger room and whosoever arrives late they give them the small room which is not suitable as one can hardly move in that room. the bath is so small that it is difficult to turn around. As we were getting late and we could not do much there we paid the full sum due by credit card and thought of complaining to booking.com or any other agency dealing with cheating of this kind. Later when we went to Luzern under another booking.com booking we were again cheated the same way as a much smaller room was given , thought it had a room no. on it unlike Imperial Suite in Rome. This is very serious and I am sure many travellers are cheated like that every day through hotels being booked through booking.com. If booking.
Good and young staff, bathroom kit changed every day, position
It's not an hotel, it seems more a B&B
Friendly staff marco and damien. Extremely secure. Close to bus 62 which gets you to town. Basic shopping and food outlets close by. Breakfast complimentary.
Room was a little cramped. No kettle in room. Little bit too far from town to walk to all the main tourist sites although bus service great
