I liked the staff, very friendly, helpful, funny. I liked the location, the metro is just onside the door. If you want balcony there are only a few rooms but it worth the extra money. Our room (212) big space, nice balcony on Via Veneto, shower and bath with jaguzzi. Breakfast is super, pleanty of everything, the coffee is drinkable, but you can order an espresso if you like so. At the end of the day you get what you pay for ... Our room (212) was noisy durring the night because of the traffic in Via Veneto and the workers across the street at 7 in the morning ! Thats the prise when you want a good room at the front with balcony, but i think when the time comes for renovation its important to change the windows to double glaze.

The Hotel is situated in an ideal area for sight seeing in central Rome being just a short walk from the Spanish Steps and the Villa Borghese. Hotel staff are pleasant and very helpful, the rooms although not big are clean and well looked after, overall the cost is reasonable. The Hotel is situated on a major road and therefore traffic noise can be intrusive for rooms situated at the front of the building even though all windows are double glazed.

4 day trip to Rome was excellent, certainly enhance by the excellent service/accomodation provided by the Imperial and their friendly staff. Rooms spacious and comfortable and breakfasts extensive and faultness. We used the hotel restuarant for one eveing meal and found prices reasonable and in keeping with other local eateries. Location was premium - less than 10 min walk from Spanish Steps/Trevi fountain and 1-2 min walk from Metro.

The location was perfect . 50 metres from the metro and within walking distance of the majority of tourist sites. It was a safe area to wander at night with countless restaurants at a cross section of prices. The hotel staff were all bilingual and incredibly helpful , breakfast was ample and the room was cleaned well every day. For any sports lovers among you , the hotel had a subsciption football channel that showed virtually every match being played. We asked for , and got , a room with a balcony which I would highly recommend . It was noisy being on the street side but we expected that being in Rome and it only added to the brilliance of our experience .

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location and a lovely feel to the whole hotel. The room I had overlooked the Via Veneto and I could see the lovley old church across the road from my window. The room itself was beautifully appointed and very clean and very comfortable. The decor was also very tasteful. Excellent bathroom. The breakfast was magnificent with a large number of options available- including a variety of beautiful pastries. The grand dining room is delightful.

I would recommend this hotel very highly to anyone visiting Rome. I'm sure it's not the fanciest place, but we loved everything about it - location, charm, ambience, affordability/value. The staff was very friendly, and while some will say that the Via Veneto is past its prime, I'd gladly return to the Imperiale at the first opportunity. Nothing at all to dislike.

Great location, pleasant staff, good size room, quiet, good value. We would reccommend this hotel, and would stay here again. Coffee from machine at breakfast was unpleasant. Ask the waiters and they will bring coffee from the kitchen! We noticed the Italians doing this so we asked and there was no problem.

I loved its location; the tube is right outside the hotel, situated in walking distance from Piazza di Spagna. Via Veneto is one of the most beautiful streets in Rome. The hotel building was also beautiful and very clean. I was asked to pay 7euros per day to get access to a wifi Internet connection, that was really poor in speed. In general, I consider it unacceptable to pay for the Internet, especially in a hotel of such high rates.

I really like the size of the room and sleeping accommodations for a family of four. The breakfast was super for a family and a lot of selection. The lobby was super for sitting and waiting for friends. The staff was great about holding onto an item that was misplaced and returned to me. Thanks.

The location is excellent. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The quality/price offered is really good compared to the other hotels I checked in the same range and area. The public parking used by the hotel is ... 35 Euro for 1 night!! How comes a such hotel doesn't have an agreement with a parking where they can offer a suitable price for their customers: this is a real shame!

The charm of an old palace Charging for the internet is never appreciated. Free and available internet is the number one criteria when choosing a hotel, this case was an exception as Hotel mperiale had a discount rate.

The best hotel ever valued as money-location-reputation. From the first look rooms may look small, but one-night period is enough to realize the comfort the Hotel provides. Definitely, I will take this hotel for my next year trip.

The location was fantastic! Also for the money, the single basic room was a very good standard. Staff extremely helpful. The additional charge of 7 euros per day for wifi was silly, since it only cost me £3 per day to connect to the Internet via my phone, which was cheaper, and generally is more expensive, to data roam!
