We stayed for four nights at the Hotel Imperiale, we travel around the world and are therefore able to judge whether a hotel is good or not. I must say for an older (over 100 years) smaller hotel it was impeccable, the room (large) was spotless. The breakfast had a good selection (only one glitch, no fresh fruit).The location was great, walking distance to Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps and even the coliseum, bus and metro at the door. The hotel staff was fantastic; whatever we needed was catered to immediately. My daughter forgot her cell phone at the hotel and upon notification they found it and couriered it to our home pronto. In short, we would with no hesitation recommend this hotel. |

Room was spacious and updated but had no view whatsoever. In fact the windows were so high up there was no way to see anything but sky. It was however very clean and the hotel, well maintained. The staff was fine - not overly friendly but certainly helpful. The location is really very good -within walking distance to everything but the Vatican and half a block from the metro. |

Excellently located near the Spanish Steps and all its activities and shops. Just 50m away from the "metropolitano", allowing easy access to the Vatican and to the Colosseum. Very quiet rooms on the opposite side from the entrance on the Via Veneto. Breakfast was OK, but not great. |

The hotel was conveniently located and provided a fair breakfast.the concierge was extremely helpful and the hop on hop off bus stopped one block from the hotel. The rooms were extremely small. After complaining an adjustment in accommodations was made. |

The hotel is very well located. I did not like the attention from reception, although some were helpful, they were not very knowledgeable. The room was small and uncomfortable for the rate. There was one power outlet in the room, and a phone with no numbers. The a/c was very old, and not very good at cooling the room in June, which is very warm in Rome. |
