We weren't very keen on the wet-room style of the shower, because it leaves the floor of the bathroom wet for some time. Other than that, no complaints!
The hosts are experienced, multi-lingual hoteliers, who collected us from the local train station and delivered us on back there on our last morning. The hotel is clean and friendly. Most guests were Italian, there were also Germans and Swiss - we were the only visitors from the UK that week. Food was great; traditional pasta, sea-food, and plenty of it. The hotel is really close to the beach, perhaps 2-3 minute walk, and our stay included sunbeds and parasol. The beach was crowded at the weekend, but lighter during the week. Swimming in the sea was easy; the sea was shallow and calm. The bar is open all day and night, but there are plenty of cafes, bars and shops in either direction along the promenade. This is a great hotel if you dislike impersonal, bland hotels - it feels like you belong while you are there.
