Nice location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
The street outside was a little noisy. There was some problems with the hot water in the shower, but I guess that was only temporarly.
I really liked the friendliness of everyone who works at the hotel. They were always willing to help and provide information. The room cleaning was also up to a high standard and the breakfast was more than sufficient for our needs (climbing mountains!). The price was just about right for the facilities.
The bathroom was rather small and the 'shower screen' (for want of a better name!) needs improvement soon. Due to traffic in the early morning, sleep was sometimes affected but I knew this from other comments before I went. It wasn't a major problem for us.
The location and helpfulness.
The hotel is too old and needs recostruction. I could hardly open the windows in our room. The room was tiny for 3 people, we had bigger rooms in a 2 star hotel in Bolzano/Bozen. There was not enough liqued soap next the bath. The bath was extremely rusty and broken! The toilet was broken as well and moved whenever someone sit on it. We could not sleep because in the room was very cold (July) and blankets were nowhere. Pillows are too slim!! There were only FIVE tables in the breakfast room so we had to wait for a place! The choice is not for a 3 star hotel, only 1 type of sold meat and cheese. A would choose another hotel the next time if I go in the wonderfully located Cortina d'Ampezzo, that's for sure.
The staff and the whole stay in hotel Impero was just great. When arriving we had some trouble with the rental car, and immediately got help for that from the owner. The rooms were cosy, spacious and clean. The breakfast was very good. The whole atmosphere was unique and pleasant, and the location in the heart of the Cortina town was also excellent with great views. The place is near lake Misurina, which is maybe the best starting point for hiking in the Dolomites (Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Sentiero di Bonacossa). Also Wi-Fi was strong, which was important for our son. Certainly, I wish to stay in this hotel in my next trip in that area.
Location Staff very nice Clean
Need a facility refresh
Great location with a super view from balcony. Very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend if visiting the region.
Breakfast was limited and not many other options in Cortina in the morning.

EVERYTHING WAS EXELLENT!!!!!
THERE WAS A BIT COOL IN THE ROOM
Friendly and helpful staff, central location.
Frendly staff. Room is very cozy and warm.
Very expensive, as all hotels are in Cortina d'Ampezzo.
- the owners! - location - nice big comfortable room & bath
The hotel was situated in a prime location to explore downtown and ski. The staff was super friendly.
Parking was located about a 5-7 minute walk away and when it is snowy, there is not a good sidewalk route to get back to the hotel.
Super friendly staff Nd good breakfast
Very small room
The owners of this hotel were very friendly and helped orient us to Cortina and all that it offers. The room we stayed in was very comfortable. It was cleaned daily, we were provided with fresh towels and we had great views of the dolomites. There was an ample breakfast provided each morning which included fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal and croissants.
Very friendly staff.
The worst breakfast I have ever seen
Excellent Staff Great breakfast Nice location View from the rooms to the mountains
Parking is nearly 300 m from the hotel
