Stunningly beautiful design - a converted 12th Century Church created out of a limestone cave- incredible attention to detail - fully lived up to the pictures we saw on the internet. Kind of an amazing once-in-a-lifetime kind of hotel experience! The hotel is in the middle of the old section of Matera - reachable only on foot over cobblestone steps and narrow winding pathways. Parking was some distance away. Given the unique nature of this hotel, it would have been great to know some of this in advance. |

This hotel was absolutely fantastic. Staff went above and beyond to be helpful and friendly. It was located inside the "sassi" and the decor was stunning. Some rooms also offered beautiful views of the sassi. Facilities were excellent. Excellent value for money. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone. |

The turning of the sassi into a hotel had integrity and restraint -it is in the middle of a stunning, ancient landscape and it felt right. Fantastic breakfast, lovely owner, beautiful rooms; in four weeks traveling round Puglia, Bascilicata and Calabria both Matera and L'HotelinPietra were the highlight for me. |

Good location in the Sassi area, lovely rooms with modern design that meets old architecture, friendly and warm service. Probably one of the most atmospheric hotels where I have stayed, highly recommended for a romantic break! |

La ubicación, con vistas a los sassi. Es incomodísimo llegar hasta el hotel, ya que las maletas no pueden rodar en el suelo empedrado. La habitación que nos tocó era diminuta, con 2 alturas y una escalera para equilibristas. Mucho diseño, pero incomodísima. El desyuno, escaso y en sitio también incómodo. Mala relación calidad/precio. |

ホテルを数歩出るとサッシのを一望出来る絶景が広がってます、夜の風景も素晴らしいです、ホテル自体もサッ- シをうまく利用した造りになっており、goodです。宿泊すると大変良い思い出になるものと思います。 地形的な関係でホテルに行くには舗装された道路からは結構な道のりの階段を上り下りしたり、足場の悪い道を- 歩かなければならないため、重い荷物を運ぶのは大変でした。またホテルもわかりずらい場所に有るので、場所- を良く調べてから行かれることをお奨めします、レンタカーを運転しての訪問だったためホテル指定の駐車場に- 行き付くのも大変苦労しました。 |

Sicuramente la posizione, quasi al centro dei sassi, la camera grande e molto caratteristica. Il personale gentile e disponibile. Nel prezzo, non particolarmente basso, non è compreso il portabagagli, visto che l'hotel non è raggiungilbile con l'auto. Per una valigia ci hanno chiesto Euro 10. Inoltre mi sembrerebbe utile che schermassero maggiormente le finestre presenti: alle 6 di mattina era giorno pieno! |

Quiete , posizione e vista. Magari un deumidificatore o la possibilità di poter azionare autonomamente il climatizzatore per assorbire l'umidità della camera non sarebbe male . |

L'unicità della tipologia della camera (1007). Veramente unica nel suo gnere. E dell'Hotel in generale, sebbene molto piccolo. La posizione è penalizzante in arrivo e partenza e sarebbe bene evidenziare meglio la necessità di prenotare parcheggio e facchinaggio. |

Hotel heeft een unieke locatie, het gebouw dateert uit XIII eeuw en was vroeger een kerk. Verzorgde ontbijt en vriendelijke onthal. Echte aanraader! |

hotel situato in posizione suggestiva nel Sasso Barisano, molto accoglienti e particolari le camere. Ottima la prima colazione, anche se nel buffet non c'è molta scelta i prodotti sono sicuramente di prima qualità. Delizioso il personale. Sicuramente un hotel in cui ho intenzione di tornare Poichè si trova all'interno del Sasso Barisano, dove le auto non possono accedere, è un po' scomodo per lo scarico e il carico dei bagagli. Si può eventualmente prenotare il servizio di facchinaggio. |
