Very confortable. Super clean. A great value. Great family running the place.

Location is residential, on a busy street, but owner bring drive you where you need to.

Immaculately clean bedroom and bathroom. Host was beyond kind and friendly going out of his way to assist us in returning a car rental, recommending a great restaurant, and even dropping us off at said restaurant. It is the best place to stay if needing a one night stay either flying into or out of italy from fco airport. Breakfast was quaint with added bonus of fresh cut lemons from the host tree! !! Would stay again ans highly recommend.

We found the hosts extremely hospitable and welcoming. They ensured that we had everything we needed during our short (two nights) stay. It was ideally located for access to Fiumicino Airport.

We would have appreciated having the facilities to make ourselves a cup of tea or coffee at the times we chose rather than at breakfast time only,e.g. electric jug and cups in rooms.

Excessive use of cleaners with a strong fragrance.

We picked Insula Portus because of proximity to airport for overnight before a morning flight. It is hard to find as it is on a dirt sideroad which parallels a major highway. A call from our Italian driver to owner solved problem. Insula Portus is the most scrupulously clean place I've ever stayed in. Everything seemed brand new it was so clean. It had every amenity needed - hairdryer, WiFi,etc - & was very comfortable The owners don't speak any English which at first seemed a problem as our group spoke no Italian. It is a bit off the beaten track for walking anywhere to eat or shop or sightsee. However the owner, in sign language, indicated he would drive us to a local restaurant & pick us up after. This turned out to be a real find. We were the only tourists in the restaurant (finally after being deluged with too many tourists everywhere we went in Rome & Florence) , had an excellent meal & a truly Italian experience as family & friends came in to eat. The owner also drove us to airport free in am whereas most local hotels charge a shuttle fee of 10-15 euros I would definitely recommend for an overnight preflight stay.

Location not condusive to walking anywhere.

Friendly, clean, affordable, new family owned bb. Only 3km from Leonardo da Vinci airport, transport from and to the airport is provided free of charge. Very nicely decorated rooms with tv, ac, spacious bathroom (with hair dryer). Lovely stay in a quiet residential area, restaurant across the road and supermarket close by. Ideal for a one night stop over when travelling, not too close to Rome center.

Big clean rooms, huge terrace, really nice and friendly people!

We booked here as it was close to the airport and we had an early departure.It was a Saturday night and the owners recommended a restaurant within 100 meters which unfortunately was fully booked. Only other option was to bus or taxi to fuimicino port and the Italians classified Saturday as a holiday so we were unable to find either a bus or a taxi! The owner kindly offered to take us and recommended a lovely restaurant and also came back at and picked us up. He also delivered us to the Airport early the next day. Great service they went out of their way to help. Spotlessly clean room, great size bathroom by Italian standards and lovely continental breakfast. Thoroughly recommend it's quiet too and approx 10-15 minutes to airport. Will definitely return.

great hotel on the budget in Rome. The room was clean and quite close to trafic to everywhwere in the city. Family run : and they are friendly and very helpfull.

Perfect location near the airport. Nice clean room. Exceptional friendly and helpful owner. He guided us in the middle of the night, when we coulden't find our way to the B&B.

La habitación era muy amplia, limpia, ordenada, acogedora. El desayuno delicioso y el servicio totalmente familiar. Super recomendado.

La posizione è comodissima per chi deve volare il giorno seguente (ma ovviamente scomoda per chi deve visitare Roma). La camera e il bagno erano molto puliti, accoglienti e curati nei dettagli, e il letto era molto comodo. Il proprietario è gentile e disponibile. La colazione è buona e comprende anche una torta fatta in casa. La nostra camera era dotata di patio e immersa nel verde. The location is convenient for those who have to fly the next day (but obviously uncomfortable for those who want visit Rome). The room and bathroom were very clean, comfortable (great attention to detail), and the bed was very comfortable. The owner is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good and also includes a homemade cake. Our room was equipped with patio and surrounded by greenery.

Nonostante la pulizia della camera abbiamo trovato nella stanza un ragno, e probabilmente dipende dal fatto che l’hotel è situato in campagna; comunque per noi non ha rappresentato un problema. Although the cleanliness of the room we found a spider in the room, and probably depends on the fact that the hotel is situated in the countryside, however, for us was not a problem.

Instalaciones de aspecto nuevo, una habitacion espaciosa, impecable, una persona de atención atenta a cada detalle. La noche de espera por un vuelo temprano en el aeropuerto se redondeó aun mas al cenar en un restaurant distante unos pasos con alimentos excelentes y baratos

No tengo ningun comentario negativo, pero veo a este lugar como adecuado para esperar un vuelo temprano en "Leonardo Da Vinci" o bien para hacer turismo por Ostia o Civitaveccia
