Super friendly staff. Very new and clean room, location is also excellent.
a little messy outside of the street, but it's Naples:-)
Very close to station, yet not noisy. Good value for money. Extremely clean, and helpful staff. If you book this hotel, using your mobile will help you gain access; it is not the sort of place where someone is sitting at a desk in a ground-floor lobby. I will definitely stay again.
location of hotel to transport links. Staff were very friendly and offered friendly and good advice.
We requested twin beds but were offered a double unfortunately. But not really a major problem. Location was not n touristy area so we needed to travel to Toledo for meals etc.
1. Location - unless you want to stay in nice but distanced districts like Chiaia or Vomero, every other part of the city looks the same i.e. a bit ugly and run down. Piazza Garibaldi additionally offers proximity to the main railway station, and both metro lines, and additional security since the area is under surveillance. 2. Breakfasts - even though they were classic Italian (=sweet) but varied by the fruits or a toast with ham/cheese. 3. Very solid internet over wifi signal in the room. 4. Very nice and friendly personnel gave us some good indications. 5. Spotlessly clean, towels changed daily. 6. There is a luggage storage at place so after check-out we could still keep the luggage for few hours.
1. Our balcony was shared with adjacent room and the dining room - it was a bit uncomfortable to have to move the shutther down in order to avoid peeping at our room. 2. A lift is very tiny with dual swing doors - we barely got into it with our luggage. Additionally, it was paid at certain parts of the day (not pricey but you need to have 10 eurocent coins available). 3. A/C system was a bit noisy, and with windows open there was also a noise from outside. Luckily we didn't have to use either of them due to moderate temperatures in Nov. 4. Shower cabin was a bit tiny, and a shower head was self-leaning which made taking a shower a bit uncomfortable.
Everything is good, big and clean room, nice landlord, fast wifi, good breakfast. It is near the railway station.
Need to the bigger sign
Right next to the station, everything about this place was exra ordinary. A gem in Naples
Right next to the station...pick pockets abound !
wonderfully welcoming staff; comfortable bed; good bathroom facilities
When I booked the hotel, I was under the impression it was a 4* hotel. It was actually a B&B, though the facilities turned out to be as good as many 4* hotels I've known. It is situated on Piazza Garibaldi, which is grotesquely ugly and dilapidated, though most convenient for the adjacent railway station.
The staff's attitude were friendly, most assisting and informative. Extremely clean and fresh room. Close to railway station. Table service at breakfast was excellent. Would recommend the hotel.
we just stayed for night in naples and left for Amalfi so the b&b was a great choice. very close to the train staton. facilties not bad.
a little noisy. you have to call the receiption to open the door downstairs and they would come in some minutes.
- We stayed here for 1 night for the Pizza in Naples (which was mind blowing btw) and a day trip to Pompeii. - Surprisingly well equipped in terms of amenities for the price. - Location. You can see the train station form the window.
- Not a dislike, but be warned the place looks dodgy from the outside. Like most of Naples really... - Lift was really small and needed 5 cents to operate. The security guy on ground floor will give you change to spare.
Loved everything from the location, the accommodation, the wonderful staff (Stefano, Francesca & Lucia) a big thankyou, and being spoilt at breakfast.
Clean and quiet at the back. Good rooms and furnishings. Only a few steps from the main station.
Depending on the time, you are likely to need a working smartphone (for phoning and emailing) when you get there to be able to communicate with them in order to gain access. I didn't, and spent a lot of worry, time and money.
Location Great. Room Good Staff Friendly
Breakfast....Could be Better
comfortable bed great room oasis in a very busy part of the city close to the station air-conditioning staff very helpful
A little difficult to find - didn't know it was on the 4th floor - not notice on the ground floor.
Close to station. Safety of rooms. Welcoming owners. Cleanliness--- renovated bathrooms. Air conditioning good. Good spot to visit Pompeii and Mt Vesuvius. Owners helpful telling you how to get there on public transport-- very easy.
Naples is not the nicest of places.
Stefano and his staff will do everything to make you feel at home. Rooms are new and clean, big bathroom with bathtub very close to railway station a free water bottle every day
not in the best neighbourhood close to the railway station, but you don't have to walk very far to reach it. although they try very hard, breakfast could be better.
This b&b is an apartment in a larger building. Once in, it was great: clean, good quality furnishings, excellent supplies and safety box. The owners were welcoming and pleasant although their English was very limited. The bedroom with balcony was spacious and comfortable. The price was right!
Finding it was very difficult although the entrance is less than a hundred yards from the station! There are two hotels with the Garibaldi name around the huge messy square in front of the station. Once you find the entrance, you are on a filthy sidewalk surrounded by suspicious individuals pushing their wares or hanging out. The breakfast staff needs better training and the lousy croissants and cakes need to be replaced with the delicious pastries available in the near-by cafés.
We stayed here as we were catching an early train to Rome the next morning, for this purpose it was ideal as we didn't have to drag our cases far this place is literally on the doorstep of the station. It is very clean & the staff are lovely.
The location was kind of rough but this isn't a reflection on the b&b, a lot of the city is this way!
Don't be put off by first impressions of the building. Once inside the B&B area it is perfect. We were met by the owner who couldn't do enough for us. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was more than adequate - actually it was delightful, served by Francesca who also couldn't do enough for us. If we visit Naples again this would be our first choice for accommodation.
Literally a stone's throw from Napoli Centrale is this tiny, family run B&B on the 4th floor in a large, multistory building. We had a large, clean and comfortable room with a balcony (and view of Vesuvio). Although the room faced Garibaldi Piazza, it was quiet thanks to the double glazed windows. The host arranged a day excursion to Positano and a laundry service for us which was great. Francesca who provided breakfast was lovely and sweet and we managed well with broken Italian/English.
Breakfast was a quite small being Italian style. Great coffee, cereal, cake, Italian toast & jam, cheese & ham toastie and yoghurt. Some juice would have been appreciated. Fine for us but if you like a big western style breakfast, this is not for you.
Clean Attentive service Value for money
Location is convenient for overnight stay near station but I would recommend other areas of Naples if you want to see the city. It's safe but some might say it's not the nicest part of the city. Also hard to reach via small lift on 4th floor of non-descript building.
This place was amazing! Great staff, clean rooms and excellent location, minutes from the Metro! Upon arrival my friend and I were greeted with a smile and once the owner arrived he made us feel right at home. I would highly recommend this beautiful, modern B&B to anyone who wants to have a memorable experience in Naples!
Had an amazing time here. Central location, close to metro and train stations. It's a family run business and they make sure their guests are fully taken care of. The rooms are very spacious and modern, also extremely clean throughout. I left this place with warm memories and would definitely go back again when I'm in Naples!
I really enjoy the stay at the International Garibaldi, the room is very clean and the breakfast is very good! The staff is very kind!
