The 7 Santi is a friendly hostel located near the Artemio Franchi soccer stadium, and just under a quarter mile from Firenze Campo di Marte Train Station.
Score from 1412 reviews Good
The location is very good as it is 5 minutes from train station and aslo near to historic buildings.
Check in time is available only from 9am to12 pm. The guy in the reciption said he had email me the code to open the door after hours but he did not. I really was in problem entering the building in a rainy day in 3pm. I call the guy and fortunately he texted me the code for doors. There no one there during the day to help you in any emergency case. The password for wifi was written wrong on wall. Thepassword is written all in Upper case but the true is in Lower case. So I could not use onternet in the first day. Overall I don't recommend here.
Great location, quiet place, good staff. It's possible to cook on the kitchen. Good and fast Wi-Fi connection.
lack of kitchen utensils. No lockers in dorms.
Bad staff not cleaned room Heating din't worked Not worth for the money
Good position,good wifi singal
the enviroment is terrible, may be it is commensurate to its price,if you only need a place to sleep,it is OK, 1.I arrive here out of the check in time,I call the indicated number, but nobody answer,at last the neighbor help me. 2.There are some mosquitos 3.The lock of bathroom is difficult to open,I get out from the window! 4.The check out time is late,it start 9am.
Have to check out at 10am
Fabio (owner) is very rude and he's a shuffler. Charging lot of hidden costs.
The location in the city center
The price is quite high for a hostel, the beds are uncomfortable, the room was next to the kitchen and a bit noisy, the program of the reception 09-12 am, not so clean
The stuff is very rude, scornful unpunctual & even harassing. I've asked for a proper receipt but they gave me a receipt showing a fee that is less than what I've paid online. And to get the receipt I've to wait for an hour. The beds and furniture are very old & squeaky. I wouldn't recommend this facility for any budget traveler since they will find a much better place.
I got to meet nice people
There is a good point only 'Location' That's all. there is a awful smell in the room and *I had to pay around 6Euro for a duvet cover and a pillow . And I think the staff dosen't almost work . *and the adress is wrong. You should call them before you visit to know where the hostel is exactly. Never book it.
No frontdesk for almost whole day, only appear for collecting money :-) May be no frontdesk service but a greed cashier!!
Book the hotel with five persons name but give a bedroom and two beds in another big bedroom. Finally, we find out the bedroom is only for two persons only,i.e the hotel only provide beds for four persons. It only know when the frontdesk appear at 10am for check in check out. (Never say a word for sorry but ask for additional cost for another person even no bed had been provided) If the frontdesk appear in hotel, we do not have this bad impression for this hotel.
The periods for the guests to check in and check out are strictly limited. Extra fee was charged for bed linen and sheet (EU4). However, I did not have a sheet, and the staff just told me someone had taken it away, which made me feel like a fool. No air conditioning although the website says that they have. A lot of mosquitoes. There were only several electric sockets in a room, so not everyone could use them. Sleeping in the upper bed of the bunk bed is not safe if you turn over when sleeping because there are no fences.
Bathroom is outside the bedroom.
- staff (extremely rude, unhelpful, hidden extra costs, nosy) - beds (dirty and sunk in) - noisy - smell - price - lock out time at 10am - 1pm for cleaning -
It was close to the centre and it's the only advantage of the hostel. It's good when you don't expect nothing but a bed and a bathroom.
There were no cutlery and only 2 plates and 2 cups in the kitchen. Someone took my bag with food that I've left in the kitchen and it was not during the cleaning day(which is on Monday).
location; and the price
a small room; and no reception until 9:00~12:00; public bathroom and toilet
The wifi was consistent.
Everything else. Got an email saying that reception was open 9-1pm, got there before noon and the place was abandoned, was by a miracle the owner passed by reluctantly us in while being rude and short with us. The keys and a note were left to us, he didn't even come up to welcome us. Found out reception is open 9-12 except on weekends where it is 10-12. Any other time you need help, there is no one. Lots of rules put in place but there is literally no one there to enforce them. Also, you are locked out from 10-1 daily for cleaning. It also advertises a/c but apparently it's only for private rooms, not shared. So you are forced to sleep on a hot room with th window open to get eaten alive by mosquitoes... We signed up for a 6 person dorm and arrived into a 8 person room with only one bathroom, so if your roommates hog the bathroom for an hour at a time your sol. But the next day we found the extra bunk dismantled and in the hallway. If you don't have to stay here, don'T. I repeat, click the back button on your browser and choose a different hostel. The location and price is not worth it. We've visited many hostels in many countries but this was by far the worst and most unwelcoming place we've been to.
Nothing really great
No staff to speak to at reception, one person who comes for few hours during day is kind of rude, AC was not on, mosquitoes buzzing around your ears, bathrooms were okay, lockers not available and charges for linen and sheets.
Good location. Clean.
The reception time is only 3 hours per day, and it was very uncomfortable.
Staff was not nice at all
The reception (probably the owner) is not friendly either. During my check out time, i've to leave the hostel early in the morning to catch the train to Pisa, but the reception was only opened at 10am. I've attached the note together with the keys and placed it at reception counter stating that i'm unable to collect the deposit for keys (E10) and wanted him to reply me on how i can get the refund. To date still no reply from the hostel, totally disappointed !
there is no staff available since the day I am in, and after I email to the owner of the hotel for complaining, he was really rude
great position (near to train station and city center) getting inside (checking in) easy even when nobody is at the reception (arrange a time, or call them and they will open the door automatically)
the kitchen did not have many plates or cutlery no place to lock your stuff staff was at reception just few hours a day
