Nice room with balcony. Breakfast was self-service without any hurry. Bathroom was clean. Very friendly staff!
Self-service breakfast (didn't include anything fresh)
It was clean and the staff are friendly. Very good location. Loved the balcony but no furniture or seats for it.
its hard to find. Even the taxi drivers struggled. You have to have 4 separate keys for 4 seperate doors to get in your room. Only one small pillow. It was November and the room was very cold. Personally I wouldn't stay again but dint onic too much if you have already booked it.
The B&B was located right on Tram 8 line so was very handy to get to from the train station. Giorgia met us and got us all settled with no problems. The area has some wonderful restaurants and the evening embiance was just what we wanted for our last few days in Italy. We would gladly stay here again and recommend it to others.
Being on a main street, the room was noisy on our first night (same as any city street). Giorgia moved us to a larger room for our other 2 nights and it was quieter.
We didn't realize that it was cash only. They do not accept credit cards so we had to run to find a bank to exchange currency.
excellent location for tourists, busses and trams. wondreful cafes and trattorias which were very reasonably priced.Beautiful area.
Convenient to everything nice staff.Didnt expect an apartment block 4 keys were required for entry, didnt meet discription strange accomadation but enjoyed our stay.
very clean and the service was very helpful. They stored my luggage for me while I was at my meeting and could pick it up later.
I had to work on my computer and my plug adapter didn't fit in their plug! Make sure adapter plugs aren't the bulky ones, because although I could fit it, it was too big to make contact with the electrical wiring. I was almost unable to work on my presentation for my meeting! Luckily the meeting staff lent me a suitable adapter plug (3 round prongs instead of the standard 2 round European prongs).
This tiny B&B really is a gem! I cannot even begin to tell you how much of a difference it made for us to stay here! I traveled with a friend and we were on a super low budget. In Trastevere House was perfect for us, it is just two tram stations South of the Tiber from the historical center. It has great connections to center and train station. Tram 8 goes from the B&B to Piazza Venezia and bus H takes you to Termini. To arrive at the Vatican you take bus 280 from just over the bridge. It really is a stone throw away from everything important. It's also very clean, comfortable and just peaceful. The rooms also have small balconies which are a welcome bonus to smokers! Giorgia was great to us, very accommodating and charming :) Actually we found all Romans to be really nice. And their food is amazing! Don't even think about eating downtown, Trastevere neighborhood has much better food at incredibly low prices, really authentic and yummy. It's not very touristy either. It's also really safe to walk through at night, lots of light and the streets are full of people. We especially recommend Carlo Menta for lunch and Vin Allegro for dinner. It's just wonderful, look it up! I recommend ITH wholeheartedly, it really is the whole package.
For me, the breakfast could have been a bit better as it was comprised only of sweets (packed croissant, milk, jams and butter, cereals, fruit yogurt) and I like a salty taste in my mouth in the morning :) But my friend liked it very much. Also, expect the room to be a bit noisy at night as it is facing the street. But you'll probably be so tired after wandering through this wonderful city all day, that you'll still sleep like a log, like we did!
Simple, clean, easy come and go.
No staff during nights (noicy neighbours can party all night long).
The room was very clean, comfortable, cozy and very very recently redecorated/restored. The staff was friendly, informative about waht to see and where to go but it is always missing from the reception office. There were supermarkets and night life bars and restaurants in very close distance. Every guest had his own capsule of coffee and his own sealed cruisant.
I didn't like the sound of the trams, buses, cars etc (generally the sounds of the street were very loud) also the breakfast was a little bit poor. I didn't like that there were not any individual small packages of butter and jam but every guest was forced to eat and drink from the same opened packages and cartons of juice and milk (which I didn't use). The staff could have bought atomic small packages of butter, jam and nutella in order the guests to feel sure about how safe and clean are the products. The toasts were inside a jar and they were stale (the same the corn flakes)
Excellent location with supermarket downstairs, and many caracteristic restaurants of Trastevere nearby. Tram stop in front of the B&B.
Convenient to all attractions Safe
Access to the B&B was somewhat cumbersome. There were at least.three doors that had to be unlocked to get to your room.
The room was really nice and clean, it has a cute balcony as well. Nicki and other personnel was very friendly and helped a lot. Also Hotel is near to many good restaurants, especially you should ask for "La Fraschetta". You can use tramway to reach to center for 10 minutes.
Great location, great staff with some good advice on where to go in the city and how to get around, rooms are nice and clean, breakfast is small, but very convenient (self service). Definitely recommend this place to stay for a city trip, all major sites are closely located
