The fact that we didn't stayed longer :)
This place has best position you can have in Rome. Our host Valerio was extremely helpful and he even gave us better room than we booked. Rooms are comfortable with excellent beds and they are cleaned every day. Breakfast is served across the street in cozy restaurant "Porto di Ripetta". Windows overlook on Via di Rippeta street and Piazza del Popolo. Metro station is just across Piazza del Popolo. Commercial zone with lots of shopping stores and restaurants. This place is best option for any young romantic couple.
We could not have wanted for more. We will definitely go back!! The reception staff were really helpful and welcoming.
Great location!, great breakfast friendly staff and lovely room. What more do you want?
Lets begin by saying that I never reviewed any of my stays since I am simply not a type of a person who does it, but thus I have to do it since I am amazed with this place. Valerio, who is a manager is very kind and nice person who is very communicative and open to help or advise with whatever you need. Rooms are very very nice, and very clean which I found the most important. Location is perfect as you are basically few meters from Via Del Corso, which is the main street that leads to all the important things that you want to see in Rome, such as Spanish Steps, Colosseum, Piazza Venezia.. Breakfast is wonderful, with diversity of food and cozy cute ambient. Stuff who works there is very nice as well. All in all, amazing and I would definitely recommend it. It made my stay in Rome perfect.
the general manager Valerio was very helpful, the other gentleman didn t help as when we try to find a taxi for the airport as we agreed with Valerio
everything was amazing!!
The building entrance, and the lack of 24hours reception
The breakfast was poor, in the room was no teapot, no tableware (even no table).
Location is good, 3 minuts from metro Plazza de Popola, 20 minuts walking from Vatikan, almost to every historical point can be reached by walking. Staff was very friendly, the room (iTube) very nice :)
Because there is no elevator in the building and one would have to climb 48 steps of stair, I would not recommend it for folks who have physical weaknesses.
The location is excellent, within walking distance from main shopping area and there are many cafes along the street and side lanes where the hotel is located. We booked through phone and email from Sora (outside Rome), and the staff/owner was the first person we encountered in Italy who was conversant in English! He was also very helpful with our luggage; he singlehandedly carried our two heavy mid-size bags up 48 steps of stairs to our room! Despite the old run-down exterior of the building, the hotel rooms were all tastefully and artistically decorated. The owner gave a name to each room, eg. iCube, Spa (2 rooms), Movie, etc. We had the Movie room and TV was projected on the wall. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The rate was value-for-money for such a centralized location, especially in a busy city like Rome.
The original furniture and the environment, location in the heart of Rome
Room was cleaned everyday of our stay *Ipad and wifi was handy *Service was great and friendly *Great location Mini bar was free
Room decoration..excellent shower...led lighting...great atmosphere
Excellent location. Very comfortable room and bed with excellent mattress. Very kind staff (Nicola). Breakfast was in a restaurant across the street but it was really good. Free iPad use with good wifi signal. We will definitely come back again!
Nothing, there is no breakfast in the hotel, but on the other side of the street, this was fine, though.
The hotel manager was great, always open for suggestions, very friendly. R=There are also some very good restaurants at walking distance.
The toiletries were a bit disappointing (very standard), you need to buy your own bathfoam, I think the rooms should have standard tea making facilities, the lighting wasn't great, either really bright or coloured (should have an in between option). The shower is a standard monsoon shower (I expected something more special because of the room descriptions). Minor things really.... But one major issue; there was a lot of building work going on in the room next door, which really ruined my mornings... it was SO LOUD! Ridiculous. The noise started at 8:00am (while I like having a lie in after a late night), so I didn't feel rested during my entire holiday. I complained and staff promised me it would stop, but it still went on every morning. I was not offered anything to compensate.
Great design in the room, modern, I had a room with a bubblebath, which was fab. Loved it. Staff were really helpful. I asked for extra service (printing off tickets, ironing board, kettle) and they were happy to help. I would stay here again (if there's no building work going on).
The staff are helpful. The hotel is very modern.
Great location, great staff, good wifi connection. nice breakfast at the trendy opposite cafe
Excellent location, friendly staf, large and confortable room, I recommand IRooms
Overall this hotel is not the best value for money offer: it is rather pricy and its center location is the only valuable preference. During our stay several times we faced problems with the shower/water discharge (iCube room) once it even ended with a real flood in our room:(( Breakfast was just a small croissant with a cup of coffee in a cafe across the road. Among the minuses was the absence of the elevator - so you need to climb the stairs with a luggage you have. So, it is neither good as apartments can be nor as a hotel, smth just inbetween.
The location of the hotel is perfect - a walking distance from the main attractions (Coleseum and old town, Vatican). The personnel is rather friendly and helpful. Moreover you can have breakfast without any time limitations which is pretty good for sleepy travellers:) Rooms are cute, but do not imagine smth. really cozy, they are nice but with minor minuses in the furnishings.
