The staff were friendly, the rooms were very elegant and clean, Great location as it's close to the vatican city. The only downfall was that when we got back from going out from our evening meal there was no bar to sit at as it was closed during our stay.

The room was great, the setting is great (breakfast overlooking to St Peters Basilica). Great location for evening ents (spent loads of time at Piaza Narvona, loads of nice bars and restaurants) Nothing we did not like about the hotel overall - however the bar/restaurant in the evening was closed due to holidays and this was not communicated either before we stayed or during our stay, we had to ask why it was not open and all the signs saying it was open were all up. Did email the hotel twice before we travelled - did not receive a reply. Was our 1st anniversary - wanted to make it special, hotel did nothing to make a difference.

Room service was excellent There are four Exclusive rooms in the hotel, the two on the 5th floor are excellent with an OK jaccuzi, the other two on the second floor have a baby-size bath and much lover quality - do not fall for that! Receptionists are extremely hostile towards people who refuse to settle for the second floor room - you become persona non grata with all your "exclusive" reservation. In general - buyer beware!

Very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk and restaurant, elegant public areas, nice breakfast No drawers or closets or hangers in the room so it was hard to keep things neat, esp as the room was quite small. Housekeeping didn't vacuum regularly (felt stuff beneath my feet after a few days) or replace toiletries like tissues or lotion. The wireless was very unreliable.

The location is good for city sightseeng. Staff is very helpful as is the restaurant staff. The evening meal is excellent value especially with the service of the cook and the waiter ( I think his name is William) Our room was on the forth floor and we could hear the traffic, I would recommend an inside room if possible if you do not need to get up early.

The entire hotel staff was very good, and their recommendations were also very good. The rooftop restaurant was a gem-excellent breakfasts, good dinners, and just a pleasurable place to sip wine at the end of a day of touring Rome.

Overall it is a fairly good hotel in a very good location. First impressions were that it was a bit shabby but over the 3 days it sort of grew on us. The roof terrace is nice for breakfast which if you avoid some of the less high quality items in the buffet and stick with the freshly made omelettes and coffee is perfectly acceptable. Biggest disappointment was that despite specifically reserving a double they put us in a nasty twin room with the beds squeezed together in middle of room and when we complained the receptionist tried to fob us off that this was normal. But to be fair they gave us a better room the next night and the other reception staff were all good as were staff generally. With a refurb by a better interior designer this could be a really nice hotel. The hotel is showing it's age and needs a refurb.

The staff were friendly on arrival. The room we stayed in was slightly dated in appearance however the bathroom was obviously recently fitted. All the fixtures and fittings in the room were immaculate - the communal areas of the hotel are very modern but the hotel still retains a classic vintage feel. The breakfast was extensive and tasty. The hotel is well located only a short walk from most main attractions.

The roof terrace for breakfast was a lovely way to start the day and the breakfast was a buffet with a very good selection. The staff were extremely efficient and friendly and had very good english. The triple room with a double and a single was an excellent size. The double was small but well designed and had a little balcony over an internal courtyard. *Only* fault was our door was left unlocked and ajar by the cleaning staff one day. The drink and food on the roof terrace in the evening was expensive.

Hotel room was a good size compared to many city hotels. Very well decorated and very comfortable bed. Loved the roof garden dining area. Very central position. easy to reach all parts of the city. A bath as well as a shower would have been perfect.

We loved the look and feel of the hotel our room was on the 5th floor at the corner with two balconies, which overlooked the roads below. From the roof terrace restrurant we could see St peters which was lovely The food in the morning was excellent as were the waiting staff The hotel stay was a pleasure and I would recommend it for anyone going to Rome for a break. Nothing it was good value and exactly what I had hoped for

The exclusive double room where just fantastic! Nice, comfortable, romantic, and with a small private balcony. The hotel were just great. But if I should mention one thing that could be better: The bar on the roof should have been open in the evenings. Imagine a glass of champagne or a coffee with a great view of the church of Peter in the evening lights....

The staff was extremely accommodating in helping us navigate throughout Rome and providing taxis whenever asked. The lobby and rooftop dining area are really beautiful and tastefully decorated. The breakfast buffet with omelette station and many selections was one of the best during our trip. Our rooms had a small terrace which was nice. We had 2 very unusual (and small) rooms on the 5th floor. The bathrooms were probably recently renovated and very modern (very nice). The rest of the room was almost like a dorm room. Very inexpensive and odd choices. Not very appealing, but very clean. Perhaps they hadn't renovated the rooms yet?

We booked a family room for our family of 4 and it was perfect- it was two connecting rooms with one queen and two twins. The rooftop terrace, with a view of the vatican was perfect; nice for breakfast and a late night drink (wine was good and the kids loved the strawberry smoothies). Breakfast, included, was great. The room was well maintained and modern with enough room for us. The staff were all nice and efficient. The beds were comfy and the location was great. 6 blocks off the Metro in between the downtown sights and the vatican. A quiet neighborhood feel, which was good for sleeping. Air conditioning in the summer was key! The bathrooms were modern and nice but a little cramped. The showers were great except for it was hard not to flood the floor a little. Otherwise they were well maintained, clean and modern.
