Hotel Isa is within walking distance of the Vatican,Castel San Angelo and Piazza del Popolo and has an excellent bus connection to Trastevere (5 stops on the no. 280). The roofgarden is definitely an added value because of the view on the St Pieter and the breakfast buffet with fresh orange juice, cappuchino's and a chef who's fixing the eggs. Staff is friendly and helpfull. Truly enjoyed the stay. |

The convenience of the Hotel was excellent to the heart of Rome for sightseeing. We could walk to most of the sights. Hotel staff was superior and very helpful for our first trip to Rome. Far superior than we expected, in the decor, the food was excellent and the people were so kind and helpful to us. We loved the terrace. The chef was excellent and a lot of fun! We would highly recommend this hotel to all first time visitors to Rome. They will make you want to come back! Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable! June 2009, Arizona, USA |

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. The buffet at night on level 5 at the hotel, was unorganised, understaffed and incompetent - hotel alright to stay but go out to eat dinner. |

The hotel was gorgeous and very modern, the staff was excellent and spoke very good English and the breakfast was extensive and delicious. This was one of the few hotels that we booked on-line that actually looked like the pictures on the website. |

Nice and spacious double room. Good breakfast. Friendly personel at the Reception. Location, near the historic center city. The restaurant should have menu à la carte, and not only one option, the buffet. |

The room was fabulous! We enjoyed the rooftop patio for delicious breakfasts and a wonderful view for a drink at the bar. A good value for Rome and a great location in a quieter neighborhood. Dinner was a waste of The front desk staff were not very helpful or happy. |

Helpful, friendly front desk staff Very poor dinner buffet in the rooftop restaurant. Meat barely cooked and very narrow choice of foofstuff available. Morning brekfast buffet also rather restricted - no omelette available. |

We liked the feel of this hotel-small, sleek, well positioned in the neighborhood. The roof restaurant served a lovely buffet breakfast. The front desk staff, while friendly, were not well informed nor particularly helpful. I asked about reserving tickets for the Vatican Museum and Galeria Borghese. I was told the Borghese was fully booked through the time we were in Rome-none available. I went online to check and this was utterly untrue; there were tickets for each day. |

The room was great and very hip. The food was excellent and the chef was so personable. He really went out of his way to make sure everyone was taken care of. The bed was not comfortable..way too hard and no boxsprings. |

The rooftop garden and its views were very nice. The service from staff was excellent. We also lilked the decor of the room and its amenities. While I understand that the clothes press in the room is standard for European hotels, it was foreign to us and I would much preferred to have an iron/ironing board. A very small point, however, as we enjoyed our stay. |

Close proximity to shopping and key attractions. Despite website information claiming a disabled friendly hotel we could not access the restaurant which was up 3 flights of stairs at the top of the hotel! The restaurant staff were very helpful and helped my partner to bring breakfast to our room each morning. Registered as disabled friendly, yet there were 3 lots of steps to the lift which had a very narrow lift door and was not wheelchair accessible. The entrance to the hotel included a step up and none of the reception staff helped us! This was very difficult for us and I would strongly advise that you ensure that it is extremely clear that the hotle is not disabled friendly. |

The restaurant on the roof. The location in the city. Poor value for the money. I booked several rooms based on reviews on Booking.com, this was the biggest dissapointment until now. |

The breakfast was very nice. The location was very convenient to major sites. The bed was comfortable. We had a room off of Via Cicerone so it was very noisy. The garbage pick up always happened in the early morning so it was difficult to sleep because of the noise. We traveled in May and felt the room was a little stuffy. Of course when we opened the window, the noise was much worse. There didn't seem to be any air conditioning. |

The room was great, spacious and sunny with wall paintings and mirrors all over...however it was a little bit worn up. The hotel in general was awesome with a splendid roofgarden where the breakfast (incredible food) was served. A small room repainting (wall corners and furniture, including doors and cases). Apart from that...PERFECT. |

I have been to Isa now 3 times in the last 9 years, and everytime I go there, they have upgraded things, like the rooms, the furniture, doors etc. I have been impressed to see the changes. A very comfortable place to sleep and close to everything. |

This time, our room was new and very clean, but still, no air condition. They did not turn on the air condition. It was hot at night. They expected us to open the windows, but it was too noisy if we did. You could here the sounds of the vehicles passing and the horns. And no coffee or tea maker. No hot water. All they have are clean and new rooms, nothing else. NO AIR CONDITION. |
