Nothing. Seriously nothing. Sometimes you read a hotel review and feel that somewhere something is not right. Maybe a thought comes to your mind that the review is scripted by the hotel authorities. This is exactly how I was feeling while making the booking for Hotel Isa but still went ahead because of the mesmerizing reviews The ‘Hotel is a gem’, ‘Great hotel’ and other such stories are all sham. This hotel is exactly the opposite of what you might have thought while booking this hotel. The hotel advertises stuff and room pictures which they don’t have. The rooms are quite out of taste and not worth Eur 100 – Eur 200 quoted by the hotel on internet. This is the case of real mis-selling by by the hotel as the tv provided by them is quited outdated and broken, the interior is cheap and shabby and the outstanding amongst all noted evils is the ‘Service’. The front desk is truly pathetic not seen and come across and hotel so far. We do travel a lot and this hotel left the worst memories so far. This is a place to not even to recommend to any enemy. The hotel provides you with dusty blankets and they don’t even have simple plain quilts which are a requirement during winters. If you are allergic to dust, then please for heaven sake do not book this hotel. The hotel talks a lot about their roof top restaurants but believe me it is nothing more than road side restaurant completely covered on all sides and zero or near to nothing view of the Vatican. Hotel Isa does not have bath tubs in all the bathrooms and there are limited rooms with lcd’S. Even after booking this hotel and paying Eur 200 per night during 21st to 29th April (booked 2 months back) we were astonished to hear that they were selling rooms at Eur 90 – Eur 100 for check in customers. This is pure case of cheating (they term this as marketing). There is no coffee kettle in the room and the floor smells like anything. We are putting this review to just save you and other fellow travelers the pain which we endured during our rome visit.

Location is very central, within walking distance, to majority places you would visit in Rome. And yet away from noise and crowd if you want to get a good night sleep. Staff is extremely helpful. Special thanks to Elena - her help in accommodating our needs, knowledge of Rome - advices about transport, places to eat and not to eat, to go and not to go and pretty much about everything made our trip easy and comfortable. And last but not least - superb breakfast! Nothing at all. The only comment we have that, as mentioned in other reviews, it would be nice to have tea/ coffee facility in the room

Everything you need including a great rich breakfast. The room was a little small but it doesn't effect a bit the excellence of this hotel. the staff speaks well english and is always helpful from an interim motivation which makes it even better. We got the room on a special 60% deal at booking com. so you couldn't speak about a better value for money then this. Enjoy

Wonderful rooms, clean as a pin, fantastic-complete breakfast included each morning. A few minutes walk from the Vatican. Close to everything. Staff--out of this world. As a side note for travelers-Have front desk staff arrange your tickets on an open top bus tour of the city. You won't be disappointed. You can get off/on throughout the day.

Smart ,clean , comfortable. Good breakfast. Very helpful staff who recognised it was my birthday and presented a bottle of wine, gratis. My Thanks to manager Mimmo. When you lean back on the bed to watch tv the bed slides across the floor of the room (401)

Enjoy the breakfast buffett and the view from the terrace and quietness inside the hotel. Very relaxing For elder people travelling with me, the shower needs some rails to avoid the slippery floors due to the smoothness of the floor finish.

The Restaurant & the staff were very good the quality of the food was so good we ate 2 nights. The location was very good. No tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms. We booked 2 rooms & paid the same price for both yet the rooms were very different in size which I thought was very unfair surely if a customer has made a booking for 2 rooms then the reservations staff should have realised there could be some dissappointment I would rather have had 2 smaller rooms than 1 large & 1 small apparently it was just lucky the larger room is at the end of the corridor.

The saving grace of this hotel was the location, the spa in the luxury rooms is a nice touch and if your lucky enough to get a balcony, very handy for smoker. The staff like most of the locals came across very rude and abrupt, me and my wife (being of spanish descent) made the effort to speak italian unfortunenly are acsent we too good were mistaken for locals, which you can imagine lead to a conversation we did not understand, when realiseing we were not so the attitude changed to rudeness. The food we had for valentines evening meal was not great, so much so we left before dessert

We choose the hotel for its location, and how impressed we were, the rooms were clean and spacious, plus the buffet breakfast was perfect. With the Morrisons Irish pub just around the corner, we had everything. Will be using this hotel everytime we go to Rome.
