Cozy great Friendly Staff. Clean Rooms, Balcony, it was not tiny like I experienced at most other Europe hotels. I will Def return to this hotel and recommend it. Great Location, Can walk to Pompeii in 5 minutes and good local restaurants and gelatto. |

Perfect location for exploring the Pompeii excavations, entrance within walking distance. With local train station nearby ("Circumvesuviana" train, that connects to main terminal of Napels), also easy to take train to the Ercolano station and walk to the Herculaneum ruins. Hotel is simple, beautiful marble stairs, clean, staff helpful, excellent value. Surrounding streets a bit boring, but at least not "rip-off" touristy. |

Hotel Iside has a great location, just a 5-10 min walk from both the train station and the ruins. The staff was all very friendly and even gave us a great restaurant recommendation...the best food we had in Italy! |

The owner was very welcoming and helpful The location is good as it is near the Scavi Pompei - but the neighbourhood leaves a bit to be desired |

Very close to ruins at Pompei, minutes to walk there. Also close to railway station and supermarket. Important for getting supplies for family days out! Air con in rooms was a bonus, the units themselves being unusually quiet but very effective. Well done! Pleasant and helpful staff. Tea/coffee making facilities would be handy in rooms. |

Very close to Pompei Ruins, city centre & train stations (4-6 minutes walking). A very friendly owner, a elderly lady who doesn´t speak English or French very wel but tries to help you in every way she can. If you have a room at the streetside of the hotel (front) you will enjoy the beautiful view. The airconditioning didn`t work properly (we had to turn it on and off ourselves in the middle of the night). The breakfast was like any other Italian hotel breakfast: Only sweet jam (a few cups had an expired date), just one type of bread, we only had cheese on our last day. Overall a very poor breakfast. The rest of the hotel didn´t have airconditioning. The price we paid for our room gave us greater expectations. We regret we didn´t pay a few euro`s extra for a better hotel that is just a few minutes further away. |

The hospitality, guidance and politeness overall of the owners and staff. The private parking in the garden was also an unexpected service (lemon tree garden private and secured). The balcony was cool. Lack of fridge this time of the year is the only but serious handicap that maybe the Hotel should look up and correct. |

The staff was very helpful. The location was excellent - only about 1km from two different train stations and right outside the old city walls. It was a very pleasant and comfortable stay. After visiting Sorrento for a day, I'm glad we chose to stay in Pompeii instead. It is a lot less busy and centrally located between Naples and Sorrento so either one is easily accessible. Our main purpose was to see the ruins, but we also managed to see most of the coast as well. I would definitely stay there again. |

The hotel management was very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by the small balcony in our room. It's close to Pompeii and the basilica/town center, and far enough to avoid the town noises. |

The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially when one in our party was ill. They were also able to accommodate our need for twin beds in the room. Garden work with large machinery was a bit distracting, esp. when one of our party was sick during the day and needed to be in the room. |

Stayed for 4 nights in April 09. Rooms clean and simple. Large well equipped ensuite. Continental breakfast served quickly. Spacious secure car parking. Staff friendly and helpful, but some speak only Italian. 5 minute walk from Pompei ruins. Many good places to eat nearby. Would stay here again. |

Very hospitable and pleasant staff, wonderful breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice, etc. Very convenient location as it is about 5 minutes walking from the ruins of Pompei and about 15 minutes from the railway station. Don't expect anything fancy, but facilities are very reasonable given the price. |

Staff were very friendly and made a real effort. The bedding was never changed, the room fixtures were very old and even in January, the smell of sewers was rather strong. |
